An Alpha's Rejection

Chapter 10

“...Emily has hidden her wolf since she was 13 years of age for a reason, she has been blessed with the legendary white wolf” Roman Finished, there was several gasps around the room,

“What’s the Legendary White Wolf?" Sienna and Vince ask at the same time, if you couldn’t tell they were twins by looking at them, you certainly would when they spoke, Roman looks at me with a should I tell them or you look, I nodded at him for him to explain,

“The Moon Goddess prophesied that she would bless one wolf with heightened senses and abilities beyond anyone’s belief, that their wolf would be white with a marking, and I’ve confirmed it, I’ve seen her wolf she fits the description perfectly” Roman explains,

“This keeps getting better and better” Vincent chuckles, everyone looks at him confused, except for me I know exactly what he meant by that,

“Care to explain?” Nate questioned, I answer instead of Vincent,

“Vincent doesn’t particularly like my so called Mate, so he finds it amusing, because he rejected under the belief I had no wolf”, Nate just nods

“Wait! so hold on a second, he had the opportunity to have a drop dead gorgeous woman for a Mate, and all he cared about was whether you had a wolf or not” Nate shakes his head, I blush at his statement,

“Careful Nate, you’re saying that in front of her father” Will teases,

“I’m not lying! what an i***t” he replies, I look at Roman to see an amused look on his face, with that a Nurse walks in, Will instantly grabs her and kisses her on the cheek,

“Honey, I’m working please keep your hands to yourself” she giggles, she must be his Mate, and there's no mistaking her as Nate’s mother, they share the same black hair, green eye’s and skin tone, I smile to myself,

“Alpha, here are the pain killers for Emily, the Doctor has prescribed an injection, it will act faster than a pill, it will be an instant pain-relief, when anything happens like this again, jab straight into her thigh muscle” she says smiling at me with a motherly smile,

“I’m sorry but what is this for?” I ask

“It’s to help with the pain and make it little easier for you, you wont feel the need to claw yourself should this happen again sweet” she reassures me,

“Thank you Rose” Roman says taking the bag off her,

“Now it’s up to you, you can stay the night or head back home if you like?” she offers,

“Home please” I quickly answer with a big smile on my face.

Back at home Roman, Sienna and Nate help me get into my nice warm bed, I told Vincent to go enjoy some alone time with Oliver, Goddess knows he deserves it,

“I’ll give you a couple of days to recover, we’ll start you on your physical training then, however we will start your alpha training in the morning okay flower, in the mean time if you need anything mind link me, otherwise I’ll see you in the morning” he smiles, placing a kiss on my forehead, he and Nate then leave, leaving me and sienna alone, I wanted some girls time for a change,

We chilled and watched a movie when it finished, I wanted to make sure she was okay,

"Si, are you okay? I know what you saw couldn't of been easy" I ask her,

She wraps her arms around me and just holds me before answering,

"Em, I've killed rogues and seen death my whole life, but seeing you do that to yourself and knowing you could of died had you kept going, scared me" she said with tears in the eyes, I've never seen her like this before,

"Si, I'm so sorry you had to witness it"

"You aren't the one who should be apologising, that b*stard has some answering to do!, ....how are you feeling, and please don't lie?", I can't help but let my tears fall,

"I'm hurt Si, I love him but I hate him, how sick and messed up is that"

"Don't Em, don't do that to yourself this is not your fault, I wish things were different for you, you deserve so much more" 

We just cuddled before she left to go to bed, I’m left alone with my thoughts,

‘Alex, how you holding up’ I ask her, I haven’t heard from her all night,

‘I’m okay, I don’t want to upset you though Em, but it was his human half that betrayed us not his wolf, his wolf wanted us’ she whimpers,

‘I know, but you know what I have to do if this injection stuff doesn't work next time, tonight was a close call it could of killed us’ she cuts me off not letting me finish, hurting from what I’m suggesting, if I accept his rejection she loses her mate too, before long I fall into a deep sleep,

I turn over no longer feeling sore and notice my bandage is gone, no cuts or marks on my chest, I see the light coming through my window and see it's only 7 AM, I decide to get up and take a shower before heading to see Roman.

I turn the hot water on and let it run for a couple of minutes before stepping in, I head back to get my phone to play music, when I enter the bathroom, the steam was thick, I’m sure it wasn’t that hot, but I brush it off,

I get into the shower and let the water wash over me, I’m singing away to my music when a feel a pair of hands wrap around my waist, and there’s instant sparks, the feeling is sensational, I get turned around and my back is pinned against the wall, I see a naked man, I look up and see hazel eye’s,

“Hello Darlin, miss me?” he says smiling, my heart beat increases, I’m frozen, I can’t control my limbs, ‘ZACH’, he looks me up and down, I try to cover myself but he stops me,

“Goddess knows I’ve missed you, you are more beautiful than I remember” he says then starts to trace my body with his finger tips, sparks pricking my skin where ever he touches, I close my eyes feeling the pleasure, he starts from my neck, over my breasts, down my stomach, then down behind my thighs before hoisting me up,

 My legs are wrapped around his waist,  my arms wrapped around his neck, my back still pressed against the wall, I’m still unable to say anything, his touch feels amazing, I’m craving for more

‘No he rejected you’ but the thought doesn’t stay long after he made his next move,

He leans in and kisses me gently, need is all that is behind it, I can feel he's excited having his member pressed up against my core, ready to slid in at any point, he places light kisses along my neck, and he sucks on my sweet spot, I moan out loud earning me a low sexy growl,

“Zach please, …….don’t, ……..we shouldn't be doing this,….....I’ve never done this before” it’s barely a whisper,

“I’m your Mate, no better person to do it with, plus you’re ready for me, I can smell it”, he says in a husky voice sending chills down my spine, I didn’t need to see him to know he was smiling, but he’s right I’m ready and I wanted him, I wouldn’t admit it to him though,

“You don’t want me” I answer back, he stops kissing and looks me in the eyes,

“You are mine Darlin, forever and always”, with that said he tilts my head to the side then he bites down marking me

I jolt and I open my eyes, I’m in bed, the bandage wrapped around my chest, I touch my neck,

‘Holy Sh*t it was just a dream’

‘An amazing dream’ Alex adds, I roll my eyes,

I pull the blanket back and get out the bed, when I look back there’s a wet patch where I was just laying, ‘great’, I look down, my underwear are drenched, I just roll me eyes again,

I look at the time and see its 7 AM, I decide to go for a shower to cool off from my dream before heading to see Roman.

I turn the hot water on and let it run for a couple of moments before stepping in, I head back to get my phone to play music, ‘whoa major deja vu’ I look around this is way too much like my dream, my heart beat increases slightly,

I head back in to the bathroom and remove my clothes, I notice I’m not sore at all, I take off my bandages and my chest is completely clear, no marks or scarring left behind,

Before getting in the shower I lock the door just in case, I want a shower with no Zach randomly showing up, I wash my hair and body then get out, I head to the bathroom mirror, I wipe the condensation so I can see myself,

I touch my lips where he kissed me in my dream and look down my neck,

‘What was that all about? It felt so real, his touch, his kiss….’ I think to myself

‘It’s the mate bond, its pulling you in, it’s the Moon Goddess’ way of pulling you back together, she wouldn’t of paired you with each other without reason’

‘It doesn’t matter Alex, the damage is already done….’ I say with tears in my eye, ‘...I wanted him before I set eyes on him! He didn’t even give me a chance to explain anything! He doesn’t care’ anger starting to lace my words,

‘Not strictly true Em, I maybe trying to hold on to hope here but you heard Vince, when Zach heard you were leaving he dropped everything to find you, why did he do that if he didn’t care!’

‘I don’t know, but enough Alex, please don’t confuse me further’ I cut her off, rolling my eyes,

I get ready and head to Romans office, when I get there I’m about to enter when I hear he’s on the phone, me being nosy I listen in,

“Yea she’s fine now……..I want to know who this Zach is, tell me please ……….what do you mean that’s up to her, she said he is a nobody but I can tell when someone is lying, why is she protecting him after everything he’s doing to her………...yea well it’s cause of him she nearly ripped her own heart out, he’s f*cking around with other women……….. I know, I’m sorry I shouldn’t of raised my voice, it’s just she’s our baby girl, the thought of losing her when I’ve finally got the chance to know her scares me to death…….”

That’s my cue to save Mom, I barge into the office,

“Hi Dad, how’s things going?” I shout out,

“I’ve got to go….okay…. I will….. look after yourself, bye”, he hangs up the phone and stares at me, I can tell why people get scared of him, if looks could kill,

“Morning Flower, how you feeling?" he asks me watching my every move slightly freaking me out,

“I'm feeling much better not even a scratch left...ummm….are you okay?" I utter,

“Good the healing must be down to your wolf, there would have been a mark left after the damaged you caused yourself last night if you were a normal wolf….”

“Cool super healer” I mumble to myself,

“Well, let’s start on your Alpha training, I want you to choose your Beta and Gamma first of all, so choose wisely” he states, 

I think long and hard, I know Sienna wouldn’t want the responsibilities she hasn’t even found her mate yet, as for Vince he's always just wanted to be a warrior, however even if I wanted them to be the Pack  don't really know them, they'd probably be more comfortable with familiar faces, that doesn’t leave me with much choice,

“Have Nate and Oliver trained for Beta and Gamma?” I query,

“Yes they have, however that shouldn’t affect your choice, I assumed you’d choose Sienna and Vincent” he looks at me questionably, squinting his eye’s slightly,

“They may be my best friends however the pack doesn’t know them, besides they’re trained warriors and the best at it, where as Nate and Oliver are loyal to you, they are already prepared for these roles, if you trust them with your life and your pack, I’ll trust them with mine” I answered, he smiles at me impressed,

“Spoken like a true Alpha, putting the pack over what you want, I’m proud of you…. So it’s sorted Nate will be your Beta and Oliver your Gamma”

 The rest of the morning and part of the afternoon consisted of training, learning pack roles, jobs and so on so fourth, after a while my attention started drifting,

“…..and that concludes today’s training…..” he smiles, oh thank the Goddess for that,

“I hope you were listening to everything, there will be a test”, I go wide eyed, and he starts laughing at me, oh he was joking thank the Goddess,

“However, on the bases you have healed rapidly we will start working on your fighting skills tomorrow morning, understood?”

“Yes Alpha” I solute him, and we laugh, I’m glad my Dad is laid back and can have a laugh with me.

“Oh just to let you knew, there is an annual Alpha’s gathering hosted by the Alpha king, it is in less than month from now, I want you to accompany Will and I ….”

“Okay sounds fun” then I twigged all Alphas are going to be there ‘Zach is going to be there’

“I want to introduce you to the Alpha’s attending so they are familiar with you before you do take over, also Alpha Zachary from your forma Pack will be there with his Beta, I’m under the impression your brother is his Beta, it would be nice for you all to talk” he looks at me weirdly, I know he’s waiting for a reaction, I just hope I didn’t react when he said Zach's name,

I just nod and smile, I leave the office and lean against the wall, I then hear Alex,

‘He knows Emily’ my heart skips a beat…….
