An Alpha's Rejection

Chapter 9

Vincent’s P.O.V

“MATE”….. I just stare in shock, within a second my back is pinned against the door, my Mate has his hands either side of my head pinning me with his torso, I could move him if I wanted to, but I was enjoying this, so was Bruno,

“Is that anyway to treat your mate, my love” he whispers in my ear sending shivers down my spine, he moves so he can see my lips, our lips are only miller meters away, his minty breath fanning my face, I come out of my daze and pull him closer so our lip connect,

Sparks explode in my mind and across my skin, I trace my tongue along his bottom lip, he grants me access, our tongues fought for dominance, I smile into the kiss in victory, I spin us back around so I have him pinned, he broke the kiss to catch his breath,

I didn’t want to stop yet, I kissed my was down his jawline and his neck, he moans out loud, ‘F*ck that's the sexiest thing I’ve ever heard’ I think to myself, I realise we’re still in the hallway,

I reach for the door knob and twisted it, I open it slowly so we don’t fall through it, I pull away slightly grabbing him by his shirt pulling him into my room and shut the door kicking it with my foot and lock it quick,

We continue kissing while I guild him backwards to the bed, I rip his shirt off him throwing the pieces on the floor, he does the same to mine, I push him back on the bed, climb on top straddling him,

I slowly bend down pressing our bodies together, I run my tongue over his chest up to his neck, earning me a growl of excitement, he quickly flipped us over, grinding our members together through our trousers,

he leans down kissing me again, placing feather light kisses down my neck, pecking at the spot where he’ll mark me, the feeling is electric, I feel pricking of his teeth, it hits me he’s about to mark me, I’ve never been so ready for anything in my life, everything stops, we're interrupted, there's banging at the door and screaming,

“VINCENT, YOU HAVE TO COME, QUICK” it’s Sienna, I push my Mate over gently and run straight to the door, when I open it what I see a crying Sienna covered in blood,

“Si? who the f*ck did this? What happened? "I growled demanding answers, I grab her and hold her, the smell of blood hits me it wasn’t hers, it smells like Emily,

“YOU HAVE TO COME QUICK EMILY NEEDS US!” she screams at me, she’s shaking, I’ve never seen her like this,

“Where is Emily?” my Mate asks, how the hell does he know Emily,

“She’s been taken to the Pack Hospital with the Alpha and Nate” she grabs both of us by the wrists dragging us to the pack hospital,

“Sienna will you tell me what happened please!!” I beg, ‘Did some one hurt her, I’ll kill them!’

Emily’s P.O.V (45 minutes earlier)

Sienna and I walk through the doors of the ball room where the party is being held,

“Is it me or was Vincent acting really weird just then?” Sienna asks, as I was about to answer I walked in to what could only be describe as a wall and it hurt, I looked up to see what it was,

“Hey buddy, watch where you’re going!” Sienna snaps at the man in front of me,

“Oh sh*t, I’m so sorry, I wasn’t watching where I was going” the man says,

“Oliver watch where you are going, you nearly took out the Alpha’s daughter” I heard Elijah call over to him, causing a few people to look over,

“Apologies, I’m Oliver the Gamma’s son, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you both” Oliver says looking a little embarrassed, 

“No harm, no foul, I’m Emily by the way and this here is Sienna” I offer a smile, he shakes our hands,

“I’m sorry ladies, I don’t want to seem rude but I have some business to attend to, so if you’ll please excuse me” He says smiling at us,

“If you happen to see my brother on your travels tell him to hurry up, he looks like me but taller and a bloke obviously” Sienna added quickly before he left the hall, we just shrugged it off, 

"He was acting just as weird as Vincent was just now" she added,

We head over to Roman and the others next to the stage, we greet everyone and chit chat for a few minutes, I notice Nate is looking me up and down smiling to himself, I wasn't the only one who noticed him either,

*cough* "perv" *cough* came from sienna's direction, making Nate clear his throat and look away

"Who's a perv?" Elijah asks looking around, sienna coughs a couple more time,

"No one, sorry I just got something stuck in my throat", I can't help but chuckle, Roman then addresses me,

“Are you ready to meet the Pack Flower?”, I nod, I look around quick, I notice Vince still isn’t back,

“We can wait for Vincent if you like?” he offers as if reading my mind, I think it over, I looked at Nate and can see a slither of jealousy in his eyes, ‘oh boy, if only he knew the truth’ I laugh internally,

“It’s okay, he has a headache, he's probably lying down, we might not actually see him again tonight” I smile,

"Very well, after I introduce you, I'll hand you the microphone to say a few words to the pack" he says, My nerves are now starting to kick in, Sienna grabs my hand and mind links me,

“Go get ‘em tiger”

We chuckle together out loud, earning us some strange looks from Will, Elijah and Nate, but we don’t care,

“This way please Emily” Roman places a hand on back and guilds me up the steps of the stage, I can feel my palms becoming clammy, I try to keep my breathing steady, Roman steps forward to take the microphone leaving me behind him for a moment,

“Good evening everyone, and welcome, as some of you are probably wondering, there is a reason for tonight's gathering..” he pauses for a moment to turn to me and gestures me to step forward, I freeze a second but feel a wave of calm come over me, I step forward in to everyone’s gaze, then he continues.

“….. I’d like to introduce you all to Emily, my Daughter and your Future Alpha” he finishes, I waited for the booing and judgemental comments but to my surprise there were none, instead there was cheering and clapping, people shouting out 'welcome', 'she’s beautiful',

I felt so warm and fuzzy, Roman hands me the microphone, I’m nervous but this is to be My Pack, and this is my first impression, better make it a good one,

“Thank you everyone, thank you Dad,…” I smile at him and his eyes light up at me just calling him Dad,

“...I’ve never had a warmer welcome, I look forwards to meeting you all, and getting to know you individually….” I went to carry on but I start to feel like I’d been winded, Roman picks up on this and instantly saves the day by taking the microphone off me,

“Everyone enjoy your evening, I’m sure Emily will be round to meet you personally over the coming weeks” he finishes, every one claps then the music starts to blare, Roman comes over to me,

“Flower are you okay?” he looks concerned, I shake my head I can’t breath let alone speak, he helps me off the stage and out of the hall through a side door, Sienna, Nate, Will and Elijah follow, all holding a concerned look on there faces,

We get to Romans office when I have tingling all over my body, then my chest feels like it’s exploding, I shut my eyes and scream out in agony, suddenly images of Zach with a blond girl pops into my head again this time he’s touching her the way he should be touching me his MATE!

I feel Sienna garb and hold me, begging me to breath, the pain is so intense, I start clawing at my chest, my wolf is trying to get out at the same time, she’s howling in pain too, this is much more painful than yesterday, why?!

I feel hands grabbing at my arms to stop me from clawing, but they’re unable to stop me, I smell blood and hear everyone's voices screaming and shouting but I can’t make out what’s being said, then a voice came through crystal clear,

“GET THE PACK DOCTOR NOW!!” Roman used his alpha voice, panic laced every word he spoke, I growled this time, the pain is getting worse,

‘Mate is making love to someone else’ Alex screams in my head,

“Zach” I shout out, this is all Zach's doing, before I could process anything else I feel I pinch in my thigh the pain fades and darkness takes over,

Sienna P.O.V

I stare down at a torn up Emily she’s clawed her chest to shreds, seeing her like this bring tears to my eyes, I fight not to let them spill. The doctor removing the needle from her thigh,

“That will ease her pain and knock her unconscious for now, but we need to get her to the Pack Hospital NOW, I need to tend to her wounds” the Doctor orders, Nate puts his jacket over her to cover her up, then proceeds to picks her up gently and follows the Doctor out, I look down at myself I’m covered in her blood, my tears spill this time, I try to process what I just witness but I can’t,

“Will, Elijah head back to the party, keep an eye over everyone make sure this hasn’t stirred any suspicion then head to the Pack Hospital” The Alpha orders,

“Yes Alpha” they say in unison and they leave the room,

“Sienna go find your brother and come straight to the hospital, I'm sure Emily will want you both there when she wakes up” he orders me,

“Yes Alpha” I say, he nods and leaves to follow after Emily, I remove my heels and just drop them, I run straight out the Alpha’s office and towards Vincent room when I get there I bang on the door screaming

“VINCENT, YOU HAVE TO COME, QUICK” the door opens up almost instantly, I see Vincent shirtless, I look behind and see Oliver, ‘ I haven’t got time right now to process what’s going on here’ I think to myself,

“Si? who the f*ck did this? What happened?” Vince growled demanding answers, he grab hold of me and just holds me, I’m shaking and crying under his hold,

“YOU HAVE TO COME QUICK, PLEASE EMILY NEEDS US!” I scream at him again, his face hold mixed emotions, I can tell he's really worried he’s never seen me act like this,

“Where is Emily?” Oliver asks,

“ She’s been taken to the Pack Hospital with the Alpha and Nate  ” I grab both of them by their wrists dragging them with me to he Pack Hospital,

“Sienna will you tell me what happened please!!” Vince begged,

“I can’t, you’ll see for yourself when we get there” I let out a little sob just thinking of what Emily did to herself,

When we arrived at the Hospital we entered Emily’s room, Nate was sat next to Emily holding her hand and the Alpha was pacing back and forth, the doctor was hiding Emily from our view,

The doctor pulled back revealing a bandaged up Emily, I hear Vincent whisper, breaking the silence,

“What the F*ck happened to her?” he's in total shock, I can see tears filling his eyes, I grab his hand, she’s like our little sister, seeing her like this is breaking us,

“Doctor please explain to me what happened to my daughter!” Alpha Roman demands, the doctor looks up from his paper work,

“Does she have a Mate?” the Doctor replies, I saw confusion on the Alpha’s face and I notice Nate look up for the first time since entering the room,

“No she doesn't …” I cut to alpha off,

“Yes she does, I’m sorry to cut you off Alpha” I bow my head in respect, I'm a bad a*s but even I know not to disrespect an Alpha, I look up to see the alpha nodding at me accepting my apology. Nate's face changes to disappointment. 

“Young lady please explain” the Doctor urges me to continue,

“She didn’t want you to find out just yet Alpha, the night we all left our old Pack she met her mate, when he realised who she was he rejected her…..” that earned me a growl from the alpha, but it wasn’t directed at me but the fact his daughter was rejected,

“continue” he mutters gritting his teeth,

“she never accepted his rejection, she just renounced her position as a pack member” I finish, everyone's eye’s move from me to Emily lying in the bed, the Doctor broke the silence first

“Has this happened before tonight?”

“Yes, yesterday before dinner we found her in the shower screaming, but it stopped as quickly as it started, she never harmed herself though” Vincent answers for me, the doctor looks towards Alpha Roman

“Do not shoot the messenger Alpha, but from what I can understand here Emily’s Mate has mated another person while their Mate bond is still intact, she can feel everything he does with the other person, until he either stops or Emily accepts his rejection, this will continue to happen till then, I can prescribe extremely strong pain killers should this happen again, it wont take the pain away completely but it will make it bearable, however in the mean time her wounds will be healed by morning, she will still be sore for a few days though” he looks at his watch,

"She is due to wake up at any moment, I'll head out and get the pain killers ready"

my heart sinks for her, ‘that ba*tard keeps hurting her’, I hear Vince and Nate both growl,

“Thank you Doctor” Alpha Roman says watching Emily, when the doctor leaves Beta Will and Gamma Elijah enter, they both eye up Vince and Oliver,

“Alpha everything is under control at the Pack House” the Beta says, the Alpha nods taking his eyes off Emily rubbing his face,

“Um.. Oliver, Vincent, would you care to explain why you are both shirtless and smell of each other” the Gamma asked, I watched Nate as he looks in amusement, 'He just twigged' I thought to myself

“On the subject of Mate’s.....Vincent is mine” Oliver mutters, I look at the Beta and Gamma they look happy for them, I turn to Vince who is bushing,

“Well cats out the bag now brother” I whisper nudging him, before anyone says anything else a small voice speaks...

Emily’s P.O.V

I start coming too, I hear voices, I could hear Oliver talking,

“On the subject of Mate’s ...... Vincent is mine”,

“Well cats out the bag now brother” I could hear sienna whisper, I open my eye and blinded by the light,

“Congrats Vinny” I utter my throat hurting and feeling dryer than the Sahara Desert , I try sitting up but I’m so sore, I look over to Nate, he helps me sit up then hands me a cup of water, I smile at him as a thank you, everyone starts crowding around the bed, I take a good look at my surroundings ‘wait where am I?’

“Flower your in the Pack Hospital, what do you remember?” Roman says as if knowing what I'm thinking, I swear everyone can read my mind these days, 

“All of it unfortunately” I say who can forget a pain like that, I look down and see my chest bandaged up

“Why didn’t you tell me you have a Mate?” he asks me out right, guilt fills me,

“I didn’t think it was important, he rejected me” I stated everyone eyes fill with pity I hated that,

“Who is your Mate? you shouted out the name Zach when you were in pain” Roman demanded an answer, I stiffened at his name, I didn’t want to tell him, I don’t want him going to war with Zach as much as I hate him right now, I had my family to think of and protect,

“He’s a nobody, I plan on accepting his rejection when I see him next” I feel Nate hold my hand and squeeze it gently, I smile at him, he's shown me more affection than my own mate has, 

“Very well” is all he mutters,

“Emily I thought you couldn’t shift why did your hands shift into paws and why were they white? there isn't such a thing as white wolves?” sienna asks, I didn’t know how to answer,

“Everyone in this room is someone of importance to Emily, and everyone else is a ranked wolf, if this gets out before we have Emily completely trained, I will not hesitate to kill you, understood?…” Roman speaks before continuing, I could sense his love for me, everyone just nods in response, 

 “...Emily has hidden her wolf since she was 13 years of age for a reason, she has been blessed with the legendary white wolf”……..
