25 Nick stared at the exterior of his split level and sighed. The bright yellow light above his front porch welcomed him home. Just beyond that door, Melissa was probably cooking a salt-free, fat-free, flour-free meal that he’d have to slather in ketchup. He smiled at the thought. After the day he’d had, Nick was looking forward to relaxing with his trainer. True to her word, Caitlyn had sought him out in the cafeteria. He’d conversed freely with her, but there just weren’t any romantic feelings on his part. Though he’d tried to muster up some interest, Nick kept comparing the nurse to a tall woman with light brown skin and exquisite curly hair. He looked at Caitlyn, but thought of his trainer who pushed him to within an inch of his life. Who believed in him as much as she believed
