It has been two weeks since Everett came home from the hospital, and though things have been good, I haven’t been able to fully enjoy the fact that Damon is finally behind bars. Everett has been in a lot of pain and it hurts me to see him like that. He has tried his best to be strong, act like everything is OK for me, but I can see it in his eyes when the pain becomes too much. Thankfully, he is getting better and is able to move around more freely now. Audrey has come over more than usually, naturally worried about her Son. She has organised a dinner at her house this evening, though it will be more like a business meeting than anything else. Lawrence has been in touch as much as he can be over the past couple of weeks; he has been working hard to do whatever he can in regard to keeping D
