Despite the cloud of the upcoming trial hanging over my head, the past few weeks have been amazing. The feeling of freedom I now have is unbelievable. It’s hard to believe that I ever lived the way I did; scared of everything and feeling like my life wasn’t my own. Making up for lost time, I have done many things that I have wanted to do. Simple things they may be, but they’re important to me. I have continued to see Dr. Kelly and she is delighted with my progress; my panic attacks are basically non-existent now. Chelsea and I have been able to go out shopping, have long lunches and even a couple of nights out. It was hard at first to go out after losing Ezra, but I know he would want us to be living our best lives.
