Ethan sweetly smiled at Sasha, 'you're not the only one'. Much like Sasha, Ethan had known Alistair since childhood and there had been plenty of times when his wolf had been taken aback by thier alpha prince.
The walk to the edge of the forest was quiet as the sun began to set on the horizon, showering the trees in its final luminous glow of the day. Alistair could feel his heart racing as he entered the tree line to shift, swiftly stripping his clothes leaving them at the edge of the forest. This shift was swift and he barely felt the cracking and twisting of his bones these days, linking with the others he demands them to be quick. He didn't want to waste anytime.
Jason was the next to shift, choosing to do so behind the bramble bushes, out of his sisters sight. Ethan and Sasha chose to discretly undress in the cover of the trees before letting their wolves take control.
Alistair dashed off the moment the other three wolves were in his sight and they obediently followed. Running in the direction of the strong winds in order to save thier energy.
Jason called to his sister 'so where do you think he is going'
'I couldn't care less Jay, as long as its not the borders'
Alistair was leading them westward towards the mountain ranges, if he couldn't go to the lake then he at least wanted to spend some time in one of his favourite spots. But with each step in that direction he felt his wolf itching to turn around to find the stream and follow it to the lake. He wasn't sure why he needed to go there, it was as though the moon goddess herself was singing a song on the waters drawing him there. But now wasn't the time to seek those threads, if he went against Sashas main rule he would never be allowed outside the palace again.
He felt Ethan trying to connect with him, having been so focused on his own thoughts and longing he hadnt realised he had blocked the others out. letting his walls down Ethans voice echoed in his mind. 'I get that you wanted to do this Alistair, but could you at least tell us where you're going'
'The moonlight falls' the words passed to the others, making Ethan and Sasha relax thier tensions. The moonlight falls was well within their territory, Jason on the otherhand felt a little disappointed. The moonlight falls was somewhere he had been many times before and had hoped for more of an adventure.
