Be my daughter's nanny

Chapter 7 "Can you at least give me my phone and let me speak with my sis..." She stops and sighs briefly, realizing that her sister is sick and in the hospital. It has been a few hours since she left her, and she must've woken up now. Tristan has succeeded in putting her behind bars, so she's left to her fate now. Knowing that her sister will be worried about her when she wakes up, she snorts angrily and runs her fingers through her hair. "Can you guys let me out of here, please? My sister is in the hospital, and I need to go see her. I promise to return here as soon as I make sure that she's fine!" She yells at no one, shaking the bar gate. "Can you keep it down, miss? You're disturbing us here!" One of the police yells from outside, and she scoffs angrily. That's crazy. She sighs frustratingly as she walks back to sit on the floor, resting her head lazily on the wall. A drop of tears slid down her cheeks, and she bites her bottom lip. All she wanted was to make a living and take care of herself and her sister, she just wanted to make sure that they were living fine, but look at her now, she got herself into a deep mess that can't be solved. What if he decides to leave her here to bail herself out? Where will she get the money from? Who will come to rescue her from here? Those are the questions that she can't find answers to. Maybe her life wouldn't have been this doomed if her parents or even her grandmother are alive. "When will all these end?" She whispers to herself as more tears find their way out of her eyes... Three days later... "Hey! Come here," One of the police calls her attention, and she slowly raises her gaze weakly to glance at him, dropping her head tiredly afterward. She has just woken up from an uncomfortable sleep. She never imagined that she'll one day spend a night in the police station, but here she is for the past three days, and the funny thing is that she won't get out of here anytime soon. Maybe he'll only let her go when she refunds the money to him. With all the strength left in her, she manage to stand up to her feet, dragging herself toward the bar afterward. The man already opened the gate for her. For some seconds, she feels confused about why the police opened the gate. Is he letting her go free, or did someone bail her out? Talking about this, her sister and friends must've been so worried about her. Maybe they'd think that she got kidnapped. "Come with me," The man turns to her and says after he locked the gate. He leads her away, and soon, they're in the visiting room. Stepping into the room, she stops abruptly as the back side of Tristan welcomes her. Her heart sinks into her stomach, recalling that he promised to sue her for theft within three days if she failed to provide the money. Could it be that he has come for that? Pushing all her thoughts to the back of her mind, she walks sluggishly toward him and sits on the bench across from him once she gets to where he's sitting. "Are you here to sue me now?" She asks sarcastically, trying not to sound nervous, and he scoffs unbelievably. How she still has some guts to talk to him in that manner. It's crazy and daring. "No, maybe not. You have been here for three days, and no one came to check up on you or even came to bail you out... You must feel miserable, yeah?" He asks sarcastically and chuckles. She rolls her eyes after she turns her face away. He's right after all, she's miserable, but she never asked him to tell her that, right? "Are you here to insult me, huh?" She scoffs angrily. "Now, you need to shut your mouth. You don't talk when I'm talking..." He sneers at her, and she bites her bottom lip. If she hadn't gotten into his trouble, she would've taught him a lesson, but now she's handicapped. "I'll go straight to the point... Do you want to spend the rest of your life here, or be a nanny to my daughter?" He asks out of the blue, and her eyes slowly widen in shock. The way he whispers the last part like he doesn't want anyone to hear him is suspicious. She never imagined that he has a child, nobody knows about that fact. "You have a child?" Shocked and confused, she asks blatantly, and he gasps sharply. "Can you keep it down, huh?" He whispers to her, and she curves her mouth in surprise. It seems like he's keeping his daughter from the world if he really has one. "You have a child?" She asks again, making sure this time that her voice is low and can only be heard by him. "Are you going to do it or spend the rest of your life here? I know nobody will come to save you, so you can as well choose to stay here," He says to her coldly, and she sighs. "I'll do it," She replies to him hesitantly. Not that she has a choice anyway. She may never get out of here in her lifetime if she chooses to turn him down. She'll be doomed, of course. "Great. You can resume work in three days once you're out of here. Don't try to run away from me, Tracy... You'll regret it if you ever try to," He threatens her, and she scoffs. She'll be so foolish to think of running away from him, knowing that will put her in more trouble. Besides, she's not going to be his daughter's nanny forever. She'll make sure to leave there as soon as she has done enough work worth the money she's owing him. "I won't run away," She says to him hesitantly, and he nods his head. If only he knows how much she hates him, and how much he disgusts her, he wouldn't be sitting here with her. "Then we have a deal then," He says to her before he stands up and walks away, while she glares hard at him...
