Chapter Ten
During the flight, Sam dug into his bag, took out the boxed lunch and begin eating. Lucy decided that she was also hungry and took out the water bottle and cookie, and finished off both. She thought about the sandwich and decided that she wasn’t that hungry yet.
Closing her eyes, knowing that she’d never fall asleep, she tried to relax. She debated texting her parents but decided not to. She believed that their ship was further out to sea and no longer in range of any cell towers since her last two updates had not received a reply. Instead, she pulled up several news sites.
