Situation and a half?

As he pooled up to the hospital my phone went crazy as hell.My eyes spotted that it was the clinic that was looking for me that is when I decided to get my ass back at work.I climbed out of the car with my helmet then found the lovely lycan in front of me,he was blocking my way that was going to my bike.

“I’m still going to need your help Niqolette.You are good in what you do that is why I need you.”

“Well I’m going nowhere, hey maybe that feeling will be a clue!”

“Well Aiden won’t be very happy!”

“No he won’t!” then our eyes met once again this time it was more intense as ever.That is when my phone saved me from something.Something that would get me segregated for months.I bumped him then just walked past him with no words.He laughed then drove away with a big fat smile while I was heavy confused.Can a bastard be so hot and pushy?I got onto my bike and headed straight to clinic. When I got to the clinic it was busy as hell.Everyone was running around the halls with moans and groans all around me.I felt a cold soft hand around my arm that is when I pulled back.

“Relax Nikki it is just me come ‘on we need help in the emergency ward!”

“What the hell has happened?”was all that came out the rest was like cold water,it made me scared to ask even more questions that I don’t want answers to.Angela gave me gloves and the rest of the nurses dresses me with pull overs.My wolf got anxious about the current situation.Angela handed me a file of one of the patients that was around twelve years old. When I looked up he was laying in front of me,with wounds as deep as the ocean so bad that you can actually see the bone.He was still making jokes with the nurses until he saw me.

“Wow the first female alpha ever!I hoped to see you today!”

“Really,and why is that?”

“Well my mom use to tell me bedtime stories about you,that is why I’m here in the clinic today!Isn’t  it awesome!”

“Well I’m glad to see that one person is so glad to see me, but Curt what happened to you?

“I did the five hundred run!”

“Really, first or second?”

“Second that is still good right?”

“Yeah,trust me it is better than to be last!”I said while I cleaned his wounds.Why would he race himself half to death only to see me?After we finished with him I stitched him then said goodbye only to find him hugging me.

“What was that for?”

“For saving me!”

“Well next time when I see you again I want you in tip top shape.Got it!”

“Got it!”

I left out by the door then went straight to Angela ,but got interrupted by Olga.She looked pissed but who cares at this moment?She gave me a file then shoved me into a closet.

“I don’t do girls!”

“Really child?”

“Yeah,you are not my type if I should be honest!”

“Niqolette where have you been?”

“Helping patients as requested,but I’m guessing that you want to know where I was at seven?”

“Correct!”

“Helped a patient in town that is all,now could you please tell me what the hell is going on?”

“It’s the legacies run my child and by the looks of it you don’t know a dam f*****g thing!Fine it is a run that happens every year for one of the packs that Aiden recruited a while ago in Europe.This is one of their hertige runs so in order to do it all men must join at once.”

“Olga,here is kids of the age of twelve years old are you people insane?”

“Sweet heart this is what make them who they are,this keeps them in touch with their wolf especially the alpha’s!”

“Man or not this is cruel!”

“Listen do the patient that I just gave you,but please don’t let Angela know who you are dealing with.Oterwhise you will be terrified by me more than the bastard himself!”

Then she left me in the dark with a surprised face in a very long time.I took the file then went straight down the hall only to find my dearest of friends in waiting area.

“So can I scrub in on your next patient please?”

“Uhm,well you see it is only stitches again so no need,but if I get to do a surgery you will be my number one girl!”

“Why do I get the feeling that you are laying to me?”

“Because you think that everyone is laying to you my dear,even your hubby so would you please excuse me I have to get to an patient!”

Those was the last words that I said than walked straight to room BC 5 the one on the last corner of the hall.When I got inside I was completely shocked by the people in front of me.I opened the file then looked down then up again.Nope still them!I was confused as s**t as this moment but what could I do?

“Please don’t say anything it is our anniversary, and…”

“And?”

“She can’t see her night and shining Armor like this?”I looked at him then replayed with the following words: “You mean a night and shining Armor stuck in a tree right?”

It was the beta that was in the clinic it ,was his room that needed to be kept a secret of since his wife is a stress factor and she will most probably kill him!But that was not the worst part as his alpha sat right next to him with a straight face.I felt knifes stabbing me from the back then turned around only to find him staring at my face.Last night was one of the most awkward moments in my life or so I Thought ,but this one definitely beats it.I went closer to pull the tree out only to find his hand on the tree.

“I can do it,so that you can keep the pressure on the wound!”

“Oh,so you are a doctor now?”

“No, but I am an alpha or have you forgotten your place?”

“Well at this moment you are the least of my worries,pull the f*****g thing out so that I can start to work on the blood.”

“You are not going to tell her right?”

“No,I won’t but you better have a good explanation why you can’t do the dinner tonight!”

“s**t!”

“I’ll take that as a no.”

I placed my hands gently around the piece of tree with a towel waiting patiently for the big boss to remove it,but like always he takes his time.Once the tree was out I got enough time to work on the wound itself.I gave him an extra bag of blood since he have lost a lot of blood with the tree tearing right through his upper leg.For a beta this injury will take up to eighty four hours to heal but for an alpha like Aiden six or maybe five hours.After I had finished with the cleaning and stitching,I patched him up but told him that he can’t walk for at least a few hours.Jake was fearless just like Aiden himself so the chances with that will be very rare or maybe just zero on a scale.I took my gloves off then threw it into the dustbin then my pager went off.

“That looks serious?”

“Yes it is,please excuse me gents!”

I flew out by the door than ran down the hall only to find the nurses waiting for me.They dressed me yet again but this time it was for a surgery.When I saw who my patient was I felt broken.It was a mother that was going into labor in any minute.The reason why I’m saying that I felt broken was because it was one of the alpha’s second mates.The chances of that baby surviving was rare yet we will need a miracle to save this baby.I went inside then felt her eyes on me.That is one of the bad habits that I got with the package.

“How far are you?”

“I’m twenty six weeks pregnant,this is not supposed to be happening now I not dew for a few months!”

“Sometimes it happens that the baby is not getting enough oxygen or  the baby is going into stress.That is why you have been bleeding miss Rost.I need you to relax let’s check your ultrasound quickly!”

She just nodded for a while then the nurse did the ultrasound finding that the heartbeat was not so strong anymore.With each five minutes the babies heartbeats gets slower,well this is not good at all.

“Miss Rost how do feel about having a baby today?”

“I’m not ready yet,I have not planned on what to wear him or anything!”

“Where is your husband?”

Her eyes filled with tears then she answer me : “He is busy,please just save this baby!”
