I notice it's taking piper a little longer in the house so I step into the back door to see if she needs help

" darling need a hand?" I say walking through the door but as soon as the words leave my mouth I see her standing at the front door, she's looks like she's holding on to it for support. I walk closer and I hear it " tatted up punk all over you social media" I know the voice from the bar. as I get to her I can tell her breathing is uneven and her body is tense I gently wrap one arm around her body leaning myself against the door with the other arm. looking this ass hole dead in the eyes, he looks at me and for a moment seems shocked " that's be me. the boyfriend. sorry but we're having a family dinner you'll have to leave now"

I can feel piper pushing her body into mine as if she's trying to disappear.

his eyes make there way back to piper

" I'll be back to deal with you" he says

I quickly make my way around her and grab him by his throat

" it'd be best if you didn't do that, you have no business around her so get lost"

he laughs the fucker actually tried to laugh

" b***h still belongs to.." he'd cut off by my fist connecting with his nose

" wrong answer. you need to learn some respect" I laugh and continue while my hand is still around his throat and his nose is now gushing blood " but don't worry I'll be around to teach you" I push his body down from her porch and turn around to see piper standing there with wide eyes. not moving or saying anything, I really hope I didn't scare her I never wanted her to see this side of me and honestly that's not even the worst I get. my hand has his blood on it and her eyes look me over " come on let's get this cleaned up and the food ready" I say as I motion for her to go inside she turns and walks in and a hear ass hole from behind me " ha! guess she still cares for me"

I slightly turn my head " it's best if you get in your car and leave now" that's all I say before I make my way into the house.

in the kitchen piper is back to chopping up the salad but she doesn't look at me I wash my hands and carefully move beside her

" I'm sorry things got out of hand"

she looks at me with wide eyes

" I'm the one whose sorry. I can't believe he found my house, I don't know what I'll do now"

her voice shakes a little.

I gently kiss the side of her head rubbing her back

" you have nothing to worry about I'll handle this. legs just enjoy the even and then you let me worry about that"

I say trying to reassure her. I know I'll be calling the guys and we will be paying him a visit he won't forget anytime soon but I'm not sure I should tell her that.

she sighs and just nods.

we all gather around the table outside and enjoy the meal. sadie decided against her highchair and needed to sit in my lap, which I didn't mind at all. piper let them know we had a visitor watching her words in front of sadie but they got the picture and I can see the worry in all of their eyes.

before bed parents leave her dad looks at me

" I trust you can handle this?" he whispers

I nod my head

" consider it done sir"

he nods and he and his wife leave hand in hand. it surprises me he already knows how I will deal with this and he doesn't seem to mind or have a fear of me being around his daughter and granddaughter. but I'm glad he's understanding, I'm just not sure how understanding piper will be.

addie holds piper in a hug a little longer as she whispers something in her ear and piper just nods her head. she hugs me and pea then looks back at piper saying " I'm serious about this girls night so let em know your schedule"

I see pipers body tense again but she nods her head agreeing.

after everyone is gone I smile at piper who has started cleaning the kitchen, I gently wrap my arms around her making her jump then she relaxes " you go get you and pea ready for bed and I'll do this" I whisper in her ear. I know she's exhausted from the day.

" I can help"

I kiss her cheek " darling don't be stubborn" I say chuckling making her roll her eyes

" fine"

I swat her butt as she turns to leave " watch it missy" this makes her giggle.

after I clean up the kitchen I call blade

neal- get snake, lee, and viper meet me in front of the clubhouse in 30 we have some business

blade- yes pres. everything okay?

I hang up and poke my head into sadie room she's already fast asleep. I slip in and pull her blanket up kissing her forehead.

then I make my way to pipers room where she walking out of the bathroom in a towel.

damn it! I wish I wouldn't have said 30 minutes!

she gives me a soft smile and I return it.

I rub my hands down her arms giving her chill bumps.

" I've gotta go handle a few things but I'll be back. it'll probably be late but I want to be here when pea wake up"

she looks me in eyes and I see see the wheels turning but she simply nods her head.

I give her a small kiss and pull myself away from her body.

as I'm making my way to the clubhouse I'm extremely pissed off. not only did he mess up my night hes f****d with her head again!

after I finish with him tonight I'll have to tell her because I want to be honest but I don't know if she's going to let me stick around after she finds out. I punch my wheel. " damn it!" I scream to no one. at least ill know my girls are safe either way.

when I pull up the guys are waiting by their bikes. I fill them in on what's going on giving them the short version. I can see blades body change and I know he's just a pissed as me, be and maddy really like piper and pea.

I had our computer guy hack into ryan's phone and we found him pretty quick. I wasn't surprised he was about to meet with his drug dealer. we pulled up boxing him in as he was walking and I grab him by his shirt throwing him on to the lees bike. " hold on fucker were going for a ride" I yell out and he has no choice but to do it or fall off his eyes showing his fear.

we get to a run down building on the edge of town and I grab him off the bike and drag him in throwing him on the ground.

" okay so I figured we could continue our conversation from earlier" I say looking down at him as my guys circle around him.

" doesn't seem like a fair fight" he stammers out

this makes me laugh

" oh it isn't just like when you put your hands on piper" I punch him in the stomach " and then while she was pregnant" another punch making him double over.

" the b***h needs to learn her place" he spits out

and I kick him in the jaw

" now it's time your learn yours." I take the gun I had tucked in my waist band and point it at him.

" I don't think we've been introduced. I'm gunner" I pause looking my gun over " I got the name because I'm well let's say very good with guns" the guys laugh

" you can't kill me" he says

" oh I don't plan on it tonight BUT if you don't take this warning and never show your face around piper or pea again I'll make sure you have a nice nap in the dirt"

his eyes go wide

" who the f**k is pea?!"

this makes him laugh" she doesn't know who that dad of that bastard is but it's definitely not you if that's what she's told you"

I hit him with the butt of my gun then I take blows at him chest and face leaving him laying there bloody

" do we have an understanding?"

he nods his head

" good" I shoot him in the leg won't kill him just be a b***h in pain. then blade steps in and steps on it

" we will be watching your every move so make sure not to f**k up"

he screams out in pain as me and the guys walk away

" you can't just leave me here!"

I slightly turn

" oh I'm not an animal the sheriff a good friend will be by to patch you hand send you on your way"

then we leave the building getting back on our bikes. I'm covered in blood so I'm glad I grabbed a change of clothes. I look at the time. well after midnight" thanks guys. I'm headed home"

I say turning on my bike blade and snake both lat my shoulder before blade says

" let the lady know the problem isn't hers anymore" I nod

" that's the part I'm worried about. not sure how's she gonna handle this" I say looking away

" just be honest and let her take the information in. don't rush her"

I nod and thank him before heading back to my girls. I need a shower and I'm ready to have her in my arms.

after neal left I wasn't sure what to think. he didn't say much, was he upset about the possible girls night? was ryan's drama to much for him? and that whole thing had me on edge too, he's never shown up at my house before and I could tell he wasn't sober. as I lay here my mind running in a million different directions the one thing I know for sure I have to figure out away to keep sadie safe from Ryan, I'm actually surprised my dad didn't make us go to his house but then again guess he thought neal was staying with me.

I've been laying here trying to fall asleep, I get up to check on sadie once again. she's sound asleep without a care in the world, I go to the kitchen and make myself some warm milk and take it back to my room. I look over at the clock and see it's past mid night. I groan, as I'm taking a sip of my milk suddenly neal walks in looking as if he's trying not to wake me. ' what is he doing here' I wonder to myself. I see him throw his cut over my chair I also noticed the blood on his clothes ' what did he do. do I need to be scared' I sit there wondering holding on to my cup as if it'll save me. when he looks up his eyes meet mine and I see the surprise on his face. he makes his way to me and my body tenses of course he notices as he places a small kiss on my forehead " let me get cleaned up then we'll talk" he whispers and I just nod not sure if what to even say. I watch as he makes his way to the bathroom with his bag and when I hear the water start running I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding.

when he walks out he's in his boxers with his hair still wet and damn if I'm not drooling! I try to shake the thoughts from my head as he sits on the edge of the bed he takes my legs and places them over his lap and takes one of my hands holding it. he lets out a sigh

" let me tell you what happened then you can decide" he says looking me over and I'm so confused. deicide what? what is he going to tell me? I nod my head agreeing and he slightly squeezes my hand.

" the guys and I paid ryan a visit, I did get physical to get my point across but he will be okay. but he shouldn't bother you anymore and if he does he's got a death wish" he looks at the floor and I feel the tears fall down my face as relief washes over me, I don't know what to say knowing don't have to worry about him hurting me or my daughter has left me speechless no sit there staring at him trying to find the words when he finally looks at me he gently wipes the tears from my face and kisses the back of my hand

" I understood if I took things too far but be needed to know I wasn't going to allow him to harass you" he whispers

I shake my head " I don't know how to thank you. you have no idea the relief I feel right now"

I small smile forms on his lips

" so you aren't mad? or scared?" he says once again looking away I squeeze his hand

" no. thank you neal honestly!"

he nods " I told you I'd take care of you darling"

I sigh " I just thought when you left.i don't know I had a lot of thoughts" I pause not sure how to explain he pulls me so I'm straddling his lap I'm in just his t-shirt so it rides up as he places his hands on my thighs

" what'd going through your head darling?" he whispers

I run my fingers through his beard

" I thought maybe the baby daddy drama got to be too much or that you were upset of addie planning a girls night" I say playing with his beard trying to calm my nerves

he slightly chuckles

" and here I spent the even worried you were going to be upset with me." he places a kiss on my lips " only daddy in this house is me" he gives me another kiss " and if you want a girls night like I said I'll watch pea. yes I'll be worried about you but I know you need some fun" another kiss

my eyes go wide and a place my hands on his chest " you aren't going to tell me not to go?"

and just like that the sleep that I couldn't seem to find half the night takes me over as I rest on his large chest wrapped in his arms.

I think I'm falling in love and that scares the hell out of me!!
