The pastor sighed „okay, for how long did you court‟? „We court for six month before we got married‟ Darasimi replied. „Who led and guided you during the courtship?‟ the couple looks at each other wondering why the pastor is asking such question. „I went to the Pastor, who was the pioneer of the program of the program we both attend, and I told him about my intention towards her and he asked me, if I had prayed concerning it and if God is truly leading me to her. He then later called her and informed her about it, she also prayed and agreed to it. The man of God prays us into courtship, and the next six month we got married‟. James narrated. Mr. & Mrs. Williams who has been quietly listening to James story break the silence. During your courtship what were the things you prayed about because I believe that there were times you came together to pray for yourself and about your future‟. Mr. Williams asked.‟ „We have a day in a week that we do come together to pray, we pray for ourselves, home, children to be then‟. Darasimi answered. „During the time you both are courting did you share with yourselves your past, hmmmm like your past mistakes? Mrs. Williams asked. Darasimi felt n***d immediately this question was asked, she started breathing very fast. „Yes ma, we shared our past with one another, but I don‟t understand what you mean by dealing with them, we just open up to each other‟. James answered; Darasimi on the other hand has automatically become dumb. „There are things young people who are courting needs to deal with before going into marriage, to avoid certain issues in their home. This is usually done through the help of the minister of God, that God has placed in the position to pioneer their courtship‟ Mrs. Williams said. „I will give you both an assignment when you get home try to remember things you forgot to tell yourselves then, when you are done than you can come back to see me‟ the pastor said. „Daddy I don‟t think there is anything that I and my wife didn‟t tell each other, if there was we would have remembered as we are having this discussion and then say it and moreover we don‟t hid things from each other” James said and looks at Darasimi who also nods in agreement to what her husband said. „As you have said sir, we will go home to think about this and we will let you know if anything comes up‟. James replied. „Its fine then‟ Mrs. Williams said. „Thank you very much ma and sir‟ Darasimi said. „You are welcome, we are happy you honor God in our life by yielding to our invitation‟ Mrs. Williams said. „Thanks for hosting us‟ James respond. „You are welcome‟.
