CHAPTER2 LIV

“Aunt stel theres something with your aura it looks different like a bright glow” bec says as we are head for the car the rain has stopped since we went in the diner. “Ya and your sent is different too from the last time I saw you” owen says smelling the air closer to sella. Bec and owen get in the car shrugging. Standing in the drivers side door way i look at stella smile from ear to ear “ o my god stel when did you find out when were you going to tell us?” she ducks in the car bucks i do the same “i just found out. Todd has no idea I'm going to tell him tonight. Him and the guys should be out at the house making sure you have everything working since the house hasnt been lived in for years.” silence for a moment before bec squeaks in the back seat “ im so excited”. I laugh as we pull out of the parking space and head for the house next door to stel and todd

After passing stel and todds house we go a little further down the road then down a long drive way that comes to a cute ranch style house with a porch that wraps around the house. Its perfect i had only seen photos of the house before the move. Putting the car in park i stand behind the car door looking around in awe this was beautiful this was home. “Liv you look tired why don't we head in the house and you can give orders to where things should go '' todds helping stel out of the car you just see love in their eyes and features sometimes i wonder what it would be like to be a shifters mate. Then shake the notion i have to much in my life to try and think of any kind of love or romance. Two kids to raise and a new job. Living in a world where if a normal person found out about the supernatural they would call you insane.

Both bec and owen rush in the house to pick there rooms. I move around the car to give todd a hug “its not nice to tell a woman she looks tired” i say punching his arm “but ya i could tell you where to put stuff while i unload the car” stel gives me a look “ o i dont think so liv let todd and the guys get it you have had a long day and its not over yet i got you girl the kids and you need at least your beds in your rooms tonight.” i nod my head open my mouth to say something when the hottest man i have ever seen walks out the door and down the steps. I have to look dumb i'm completely at a loss for words this hot man in a black shirt that shows the most muscular arms. His jeans hugged him perfect in the front i can only imagine what it looks like from behind. I have to physically shake my head to focus when he stops on the bottom step and just stared at me blank face.

Thank god stel pulls me along past him without a word to the house. The open concept of the kitchen and living room is perfect then the little halfway that leads to the bed rooms and bathroom. The house is small but perfect for the 3 of us. I'm slowly looking around while stel talks about dinner. “Stel we just ate not even an hour ago……owen no wolf form in the house i mean it” the black with brown ringed tail i saw popping out of a room disappears and a “sorry aunt liv was just seeing how much room i had” owen looks out with a mischievous grin. Stel giggles “ that boy is something else i swear he's more wolf then boy remember when he had to sleep as a wolf in his bed for like six months” i laugh at the memories my sister rain had called me up asked me to come over since he refused to leave wolf form for days i had to tell him that if he didnt change back i was going to give him shots like a domestic dog to keep his sister from getting rabies. Rain had laughed so hard when own shifted back and said you wouldnt. “Stel i hope bec shifts soon shes so worried that she wont since she got her gift so early” stel was going to say more until we heard todd yell “ stella baby i got to go theres an emergence on route 208 that needs the sheriff im taking max with me to help out. Dean and zeb are putting owens bed together now liv boss them around make them do everything you need help with” then he was gone in his sheriffs truck with the siren blaring.

………….few hours later……..

“Thanks dean and zeb for all the help we appreciate it. Hope to see you guys soon” i say to the men as they walk to the old rusty green truck in the driveway. “ it was no problem liv and you have one hell of a right hook” zeb gives me a wink “well you learned not to sneak up on me like that” i giggle embarrassed i had punched zeb when he scared me. He never once got mad just smiled while he held his chin and said “ that was a good one we don't have to worry about you now do we” zeb had been flirty all day dean telling zeb to smarten up because stella would kick his ass if she saw him being in any way disrespectful. I waved goodbye as zeb blew a kiss and drove away. “That man acts like a teenage boy any time he even gets close to an attractive woman.” we both laugh as i walk stel to her car “ hes not that bad definitely not my type but he seems like we could be good friends kinda reminds me of when todd met you” stel gets in the car giggling “ you are so right i will call you in the morning or show up you never know i had a key made so i could get in any time i wanted” smilling at her “ same old stella im so greatful that when rain and john fell in love i got to have you as my best friend now go home and rest feed my niece or nephew inside you” she started the car and put it in gear “will do” is what she says heading down the driveway.
