CHAPTER5 MAX
I had watched in horror as liv took pain from bec the moment she had backed in to me i knew she was my mate that she was mine. Her nose and ears were bleeding the pain of the first shift is hell all the bones in your body breaking at once while reforming into a wolf. Liv had barley made a noise stella had said liv took all the pain i know shifters scream and cry from the pain. Then todd tried to touch her i wanted to rip his arm off if he toucheD liv. I set liv on the couch as stella sat next to her looking her over owen came in with a glass of water and a bottle of tylenol. “Aunt liv here this will help lay down i got bec” he kissed her forehead and walked away glaring at me. “Liv im going to clean up the blood on your face you feeling better now that was alot the fact that you didnt pass out proves you should have been a shifter like i have always said” she smiles walking to get a cloth from the kitchen. “Stel im fine i have been through worse pain then that i might just need to lay down” shes rubbing her her temples looking tired. My phone rings i reach to check it then answer “zeb what do you have?” i take a glance at liv and walk out the front door to be able to relay to todd what zeb found. “Doc says cougar shifter already sent dean to sniff around see if he might still be in town” liv was right “where is todd i can't reach him” i look at todd who is now walking towards me from the two kids now playing in wolf form. “Todds with me out at livs place todd had asked her what she thoughts where on what could have attacked our victim. She said the same as doc but she thinks that the sick f***s not rabid…” im cut off by zeb “why didnt any one tell me you guys where heading over the the hot chicks i would have come along shes fine as hell and fun to flirt with” im growing “shes mine if you even look at her again i will rip your throut out” laughter why does every one think this is so funny “ f**k the big bad wolf has a mate a little spit fire of a woman to bad i liked her” im getting more pissed “zeb enough” todd takes the phone and walks into the house. Im screwed she is a spit fire with no fear. Problem is shes human and i have to go slow with her its not like if she was a shifter we would have been mated before midnight the pull would be to strong to ignore but with her being human it takes time for the bond to pull her full force to me. I dont know if i can keep myself in control for long just thinking of her spicy attitude, angelic smile and curves every woman wants. I have to shake my head so i don't get a hard on. Owen and bec had shifted back to human form. “I can see your aura max and it matches aunt livs the same way aunt stel and uncle todds do” she pauses to look behind me “ i know your mates aunt liv comes with a package deal with us and if we dont approve then bet your ass mates or not she wont have anything to do with you” she says as a warning walking by “we have been threw alot the three of us aunt liv almost died when our parents did. A rabid bear shifter had attacked my parents when liv arrived dad was bleeding on the ground not healing mom was doing what she could to fight off the bear” he took a shaky breath before he continued “aunt liv grabbed the closest thing there was a shovel and tried to help my mother the bear attacked they fought somehow when she went down and the bear went to jump at the same time the shovel impaled him. Aunt liv was bleeding she has 3 scars going across her stomach from the bears claws. She crawled to my mother and father who were dying taking both there hands she pulled there pain to her self almost killing her while she took theirs to let them die pain free. Bec found them found aunt liv barely alive. That was a year ago so if you want to be with aunt liv i'm not standing in your way she deserves to be happy but you need to win bec over to even get close to aunt liv” that was all then he was in the house. I had heard that a rabid bear shifter had killed stells brother and wife but no one ever said any thing about liv. My mate had taken down a rabid bear shifter thats not an easy feat. i felt pride and sadness at what owen had told me.
