After todd and max had left to go to another crime sene stella tried to fuss over me insisting she stayed to make dinner. The next few days had gone by and todd insisted on dropping stella off every moning so nighter of us where alone and always in the buddy system. Stella works with the kids with trying to train them for a fight in wolf form since im not able to. Owen was seven when he shifted so john had tought him how to defend himself if it was ever needed but bec we never knew if she would shift. Rain and i had thought bec the basics of self defence in human form but now she needs to learn in her wolf since you never know what could happen at any time in wolf or human form. My phone dings in my pocket as i watch stella yelling commands to bec as owen trys to attack. Looking at my phone i see maxs name pop up hes been checking on me every day. How are you feeling was checking to see if you needed anything since zeb and i are on our way to see you to have you look at some crime sence photos to see its the same guy max always seems mad about something and hes always growling about something. Typing im all good right now but thank you how long until you get here i send it then i hear a vehicle coming up the drive way its zeb with a pissed off looking max in the passenger seat. Zeb jumps out and comes running for me with a huge smile on his face “ liv baby i have miss….” thats all he got out max is on top of him hes saying something to zeb but zeb only laughs harder at him then they get up. All i can do is laugh zeb is like a little kid.

“Come on lets go in the house i got some coffee made” i walk to the door “i think i will stay out here with the kids gorgeous” he flashes a toothy smile turning back to the door i walk in with max “this is the last crime scene it looks the same but you had said that thought the last one was the same as the first do to a broken bottom tooth” i take the photos this shifter truly destroyed every thing that shows these women where ever human it always makes me sick. Maxs rubbs my back as i look threw the pictures its always brings warm sparks that are so calming. Then i see it the bite mark on the flesh that shows a broken bottom tooth. “Right there max its him that makes three women in less then a week. I hope you guys catch him soon” he continues to rub my back “dont worry olivia you are safe im only ever a phone call away and i would be here in a matter a minutes” hes smiling down at me and his smile is so sexy i get butterflys in my stomach. We are just stearing at each other then break apart fast when owen and bec walk in “aunt liv becs a cheater she hurt me” owen pouts becs laughing and so is stella and zeb as they walk in “bec is ruthless i pitty any one who trys to take her on” zeb looks at max then me “ max where you making moves on my girl im hurt i told you i saw her first” rolling my eyes i lough this man is to much. Then theres more growling from max i slap maxs arm he looks at me surprised “what he was….” i slap him again to shut him up then i look at zeb “if you want to get technical it was max who saw me first out side so if you guys are calling dibs he gets it and honestly” i point from him to myself “ this could never be i would end up in jail from domestic violence charges so alas im am sorry my dear sweet zeb you shall only be my friend” max wraps his arm around my shoulder with a triumphant smile. “ liv how will i go on in this life with out you” zeb dramatically puts the back of his hand to his forehead and fakes fainting in to the chair. Max takes his phone out and answers it “todd…..got it we are on our way” he hangs up moves from me and heads for the door “ zeb lets go theres been another attack” zeb gets up and there gone.

“So how do you feel about max aunt liv” bec says from the couch where her and owen are now watching a move. “Ya how do you like max? Do you feel any sparks or pull to him” stella who is now reclining in the chair next to the kids “well i dont know how i feel about him and why would i feel sparks or a pull?” i look at them confused why would they ask that then it hits me rain had told me once thats how she knew john and her were mates. “O god bec you told me once auras matched when they are mates since they are soulmates. Does mine match maxs aura?” she shuggs “bec?..... Stel why hasnt he said anything i mean im not really looking for a mate or a boyfriend or a husband i kinda had my hands full with life at the moment and i of all people a mate really” im rambling trying to wrap my mind around it. I mean rain was human and john a wolf shifter i just never thought i would be mated to one as well. Im deep in thought i dont hear stella talking to me i dont hear anything until owen waves his hand in my face “aunt live can we go to the diner for dinner im hungry if you say no im asking aunt stel she never says no” before i answer “lets go food sounds good im feeding two here and ginas cheese cake wait until you try it.
