Are you human?

Clara's POV
I woke up to the distant noises I was hearing. Why do I feel so much pains? I managed to stutter my lids open after a while and I took in my surroundings.
“She’s awake!” I heard someone say with a gasp
“Your Majesty! Thank goodness you are finally awake” one of my advisors said sitting not too far from me
I tried sitting up but it was too difficult. Gosh! I hate this kind of situation.
“Don’t force it Your Majesty” the doctor said but I ignored him
“Help me up” I said and they had no choice but to help me sit up
“What was the outcome of the war?” I asked staring at their faces
“We won Your Highness, but Richard and some few people escaped”
“How were they able to escape in our territory?”
“We were trying to save you”
“The safety of the people comes first before me, always have that at the back of your mind” I scolded sternly
“Yes Your Highness”
“Take me to my chambers”
“But you aren’t okay yet, you still need rest”
“Are you questioning my order?”
“No, how can I?”
“Good! Now, take me to my chambers”
“Yes Your Majesty”
They took me to my Chambers and made me lay in my bed.
"You can leave now"
"But... Your..." the doctor was saying but one look from me cut him off and they left without a word
I opened my dress a little and checked the place I was shot on my chest. Thank goodness the arrow wasn't deep.
With this injury now, I think my heart problem will become worse.
I sighed tiredly and slowly drifted to sleep!
*Evening*
I wore my clothes and went to earth after changing to my human form. I really wish I knew where Jason lives but sadly I don't.
I walked dejectedly through the streets but suddenly, I felt a familiar scent. That's Jason's scent!
I raised my head up and eye searched him, but I didn't see anyone that looked like him and the scent was starting to fade away.
Suddenly, my eyes caught a moving car and I figured that was where he was. The car looks really flashy and although I'm not human, I know the car will be really expensive.
I made myself invisible and followed the car with my vampire speed. I wouldn't want people staring at me like there's fire on my head.
After following them for a while, we finally arrived at a huge mansion. Wow! The house looks really big and beautiful!
He got down from the car and I wanted to make myself visible to him but I stopped when someone else also came out of the car.
It was a lady and the aura around her was somehow. Wait! She's a vampire? How come? I hope Jason is not in danger!
I followed them inside still in my invisible form. They kept walking until they got to a couch and sat!
"Uhhm.... I will just freshen up first" Jason said standing up
"Sure! Don't take too long"
Jason stood up and went upstairs and I followed him until he got to his room and locked the door. I then decided to make myself visible!
Immediately he saw me, his eyes widened and I knew the next thing he will do is scream so I quickly covered his mouth with my palm.
"H... How did you get in?" he asked after I removed my palm
"That's a discussion for another day. Who is that girl in the sitting room?"
"Are you jealous?" he mocked
"Can you be serious for once? Who is she?"
"She's my childhood friend" he answered with an eyeroll
"So.... You don't know if she has a secret?"
"She doesn't hide anything from me. If she has a secret, then it's something I know of"
"Really? Then do you know she's not human?"
"You know, the only problem you have is that you behave like a psycho. If she's not human, then what is she? Does she look like an animal to you?"
"She's not human, I swear! If she's really your friend like you claim, ask her and you will hear the truth from her except if she decides to lie to you!"
"Who are you talking to Jason?" I heard the girl say from the door and I quickly made myself invisible before disappearing.
Jason's POV
"Who are you talking to Jason?" June asked from the door but before she could come in, Clara had already left the way she came.
"I don't understand"
"I clearly heard two voices from this room so tell me who you were talking to"
"I wasn't talking to anyone" I denied
"Really? So you're saying my ear isn't functioning properly?"
"I didn't say that, let me quickly freshen up" I said heading to the bathroom
"What have you been doing since?" she asked suspiciously
"Nothing! You're free to check my room for as long as you want if you don't believe me" I said and she stopped her foot on the ground angrily before leaving.
June's POV
Is Jason hiding something from me? I clearly heard his voice and that of a lady before going in.
But where did the lady go to within that short time? Was she in the bathroom? No, I don't think so!
If she had gone into the bathroom, I would have heard the sound of the door open and close but I didn't hear anything.
I sighed dejectedly and sat on the couch. What if Jason is seeing someone? I really don't want to hurt anyone on earth.
If it's in the vampire kingdom, I won't think twice before doing anything but here on earth, there are just weak and helpless humans so I can't think of hurting them.
After Jason was done, he came downstairs to meet me.
"Sorry I kept you waiting"
"Whatever, I'm famished!"
"The maids aren't around today so will you do me the honour of displaying your great cooking skills?" he said with a mock bow
"So you're mocking me because I can't cook? Don't worry, I will learn how to do that soon"
"At least you've agreed you don't know how to cook, right?"
"Yeah"
"Let's go to the kitchen together. I will cook while you help me with the recipe"
We went to the kitchen together and he brought out the recipe we were to use.
"You will slice the carrot while I slice the onion" he said and set out to work
Thankfully I know how to slice carrot so I also started.
"Are you human?" Jason suddenly asked out of the blue
"W... What?!!!!" I stuttered
"It's nothing. Nevermind" he said and continued with what he was doing
Okay, what the hell was that?!!
