CHAPTER 18

I CRIED SILENTLY in my bed, It's Monday so I have to go to work and I have to face blair because he's the boss and I can't do anything if I don't miss this day.

I groomed myself, I covered my eyes with make-up so that I wouldn't be able to cry for two days.

When I entered the company, the guard greeted me immediately, I ignored him and just kept walking, I didn't have time to greet them especially and the pain I was feeling was not fresh yet.

Nakita ko si bryan na nakatingin saakin na may pag-aalala,iniwas ko yung tingin ko at dumiretso nalang sa office ko para ibaba ang gamit ko at kinuha ang table at ang paperworks.

Kumatok ako sa pinto ni blair,narinig ko syang nagsalita kaya pumasok na agad ako,binati ko sya pero sa malaming na boses kaya napaangat sya ng tingin saakin,kita ko ang pag-aalala nya saakin pero sinawalang bahala ko yun.

"Sir,In this morning in 10 am you have a meeting in conference room,and before 1 pm you have a magazine interview..."

Nakatingin lang sya saakin,kaya ako na mismo ang umiwas,dahil sa tuwing nakikita ko sya parang bibigay nanaman ang luha ko dahil sa naalalang Trinaydor nya ako.

Alam kong gusto nya protektahan ang kapatid nya pero alam nya naman kung anong nangyari saakin 7 years ago,sya mismo ang saksi sa pagkawasak ko noon.

At ngayon sila nanaman ang dahilan kung bakit ako mawawasak ulit ngayon.

Sa nalaman kong niloko nila ako ay masakit na mas lalo na yung alam pala nyang buhay ang kapatid nya noon pa ay mas triple na yung sakit.

"Why are you here?, though your going to day off"

Mahinahon lang ang boses nya pero parang nainis ako dun,umayos muna ako ng tayo bago sya harapin ng taas noo.

"Kung ano man ang nangyari nung friday ng gabi ay wala lang yun sir.,Hinde naman masakit na maloko ng pinagkatiwalaan mong tao kaya bakit ako aabsent para lang dun?"

Tinitigan nya lang ako bago huminga ng malalim,binaba nya yung mga mata nya sa desk nya na mga nakalatag na paperworks.

Sa totoo lang nasasaktan parin ako hanggang ngayon.nasasaktan ako dahil nag tiwala ako sakanya... nasasaktan ako dahil sya lang ang taong umintindi saakin nung panahon na walang gustong umintindi sa nararamdaman ko.

Kahit pa pala ganon kayo katagal magkakilala hinde mo parin talaga alam ang mga bagay na gusto nya talagang ilihim,mangangapa ka nalang at magugulat kapag nalaman mo sa huli na trinaydor ka napala.

I'm feeling betrayed!,nagtiwala ako sakanya lahat sinasabi ko sakanya... dahil alam kong magpapakitawalan sya hinde ko naman inaakala na matagal nya ng nililihim saakin yun..

Ang akala ko ok na,akala ko lang pala yun dahil isang dahilan lang pala ang sisira sa lahat,hinde ko maintindihan ang explanation nya,dahil narin siguro sa galit ay hinde ko na inalam pa.

"Yes,I will be there in 5 minutes..."

Ng tumayo sya ay umayos na ako ng tayo,at gumilid,inayos nya ang longsleeve nya at iniwan ang coat sa backrest ng swivel chair nya.

Naglakad na sya paalis sa swivel chair nya at sinulyapan lang ako saglit bago magpatuloy,sumunod ako sakanya paglabas...pumasok sya sa conference room kaya pumasok din ako

Nag si ayos ng upo ang lahat ng makita syang pumasok,tumango ako sa iba bago umupo sa tabi ni blair

Nag presentation ang isang babae na siguro ay medyo matanda lang saakin ng dalawang taon, chinita sya at maputi at kapag nag t-tanong sya si blair agad ang tinitignan nya pero deadma lang ang isa sakanya

"Meron pa ba kayong tanong?"tanong nya ng nakangiti

Nagtaas ako ng kamay kaya napatingin sya saakin at lumiit ang ngiti nya saakin, napatingin din saakin ang iba

"Why do we need to change the logo of one of our branches ?, shouldn't we not change that because if we change the logo they might not recognize it and they might think there is someone else there so the logo is no longer there?"

Some nodded and others nodded like him

I sat up, he had a point in what he said but what I just don't know is why it needs to be changed.

After we left, blair immediately said goodbye to me that he was going somewhere so I just nodded and went straight to my office.

I poured all my time into all the piles of paperworks, no matter how hungry I was. I felt like I was full of everything that happened so I didn't hurry just to eat.

When my time was up, I rested and tidied up before I took my bag and left the office, I even glanced at blair's office, it looked like he wouldn't come again.

So maybe they always talk to lonzo because they are brothers and they seem to know each other first..so I won't suspect if they both planned all this first.

When I got home to the apartment, I immediately arranged all my clothes, I didn't have anything left, I put them all in the luggage I was carrying before, I packed all my clothes and checked my savings.

I booked right away, for now and it's a good thing I still have my flight at 6:30 pm so I have 1 hour and a half to fix it

I took a shower first and changed my clothes, I set aside what I was wearing earlier in the office ... I looked at my wirst watch I only had one hour so I hurried away ...

After I left, I rode a tricycle to pass my land lady, when I arrived I immediately got off and paid for the tricycle.

Kumatok ako sa pinto ng land lady,at maya-maya lang ay bumukas na agad,binati ko muna sya bago ko kunin ang pera sa wallet ko,nagulat pa sya pero tinanggap din agad.

"Salamat po baka eto na po ang huling renta ko sainyo,at pasensya na rin po,kung may mag tanong man po sainyo na lalaki wag nyo pong sabihin na umalis ako..."

Nag alinlangan syang tunango at tinignan pa ang hawak na pera na binigay ko , ngumiti ako sakanya,nagpaalam na aga dako dahil may flight pa ako makaabot.

Umalis na agad na ako dun at mabilis na hinatak ang maleta na dala, naghintay ako sa bench ng taxi at inemail ko na agad kay Blair ang resignation ko sakanya.

Wala na akong balak na bumalik sa trabaho mas gugustuhin ko pang pumunta sa lugar na gusto kong puntahan.

Alam kong childish isipin pero eto nalang ang paraan ko para makalayo ako sa sakit kahit na saglit.
