CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO
Sami booked a Hilton suite within a ten minute drive to the twins’ grandparents’ house. If necessary, he would spend the night at the old couple’s place should they insist on keeping the girls during his stay. He wouldn’t let the twins out of his sight. Having a backup plan never hurt, either.
Without Mrs. Madigan’s help, taking care of the girls on the flight to Cleveland was far from easy. Thank God they were potty trained. Having to change diapers in the cramped airplane toilet would have killed him.
He hired a car and headed to the old couple’s house without first stopping at the hotel. This way, he could use the excuse of the girls being tired, to leave early.
