Chapter 10 Too Late

The house was decorated with flowers and plants. There were loud noises coming from inside, with everyone bustling here and there.
Ethan was in the kitchen baking cupcakes etc while decorating the cake. Michael was with him helping. Lucien and Violet were decorating the living room, though it was actually just Lucien decorating with Violet sleeping.
Maddox was out greeting people. And well he was locked in his room because according to Ethan he couldn't know what they were doing. His life has changed a lot in the previous years. Michael and him were being trained together by a different teacher from others, because of their unique affinities.
There was even a fight with the Holy Church of the kingdom last year because they wanted Liam to come with them and join the Church. Of course everyone strongly disagreed so, they tried to kidnap him. It didn't work out for them because of the presence of Maddox and Lucien.
It was over as soon as it started but Ethan was hell bent on him not leaving until he was 18. So, no chance of meeting Zeke but he still kept updated through Violet.
Ohh. And that Marina! she was obsessed with him it was official. She was always following him and even sent her parents with a marriage proposal. Ethan and Lucien didn't agree of course, but still that girl was crazy.
Anyways after this party he was leaving to go meet Zeke. Violet had told him he was fine but Liam was still worried.
"Liam get down. Everyone is here." Michael said loudly in his ear before running down stairs. Liam stood up and walked out. He was finally 6'2 by the way. And of course very handsome.

3 Hours Later
"Finally we are here! I thought Ethan would never stop fussing." Liam said to Michael as he left the carriage.
"You know you love him. Besides after what happened with the Church he has the right to be worried." Michael said as he looked around.
"So where are we going to find that kid you are in love with?"
"I am not in love. Where did you even get the idea from?" Liam said frustrated. Michael was convinced that he was in love with Zeke even though he told him Zeke was 5 years younger than him.
Michael just laughed before going to the part of the town Liam had told him that he thought Zeke lived. Liam followed him still grumbling.
"You should buy something for him as a gift don't you think?" Michael said teasingly.
"We need to find him first." He said ignoring Michael and running towards that part of the town.
He really hoped Zeke was there cause he couldn't bring Violet with him. Violet was supposed to be his pet but Ethan had gotten very close to him and was very angry at him when Liam said he was bringing him along. So he left him with Ethan.

"Zeke." Liam muttered as he stopped. Zeke was standing outside a shop. His face as cold as ever but he was beautiful. His hair were covering his forehead and his pink eyes. Liam was stunned.
"So he is the love of your life? I must say he is beautiful." Michael said standing by his side.
"Well what are you waiting for? Go talk to him."
"What if he doesn't remember me?" Liam was chickening out now that he finally saw him. "And he is not the love of my life. He is only 13 you Idiot."
Suddenly Zeke looked up and towards them. He stopped whatever he was doing as he walked in their direction. Liam was freaking out internally but he just walked past them. He probably didn't see them as he walked towards a shop.
[This is where he will meet the Female Lead. Follow him and make sure he is fine. I will explain everything later.] Violet spoke in his head. Liam was surprised but he trusted Violet so he ran after Zeke.
Michael who was forgotten, was not very happy and was going to follow him but he bumped into someone. He looked up about to apologise when he saw red eyes looking down at him.
Uh-Oh.

Zeke was walking towards the shop. He nearly forgot to buy food when that was what he was here for in the first place. *Sigh* He was still not used to living alone. He was happy, happier than ever but he kept messing up.
He was so scared when he ran away last week but everything has been going so well. Now he just had to buy something to eat and then he would leave this town. It would probably make it harder for him to find Liam but he didn't want to stay here. He didn't know where Liam was anyways.
"Zeke!" Someone yelled and he was startled. Did his mother find him? But no one knew he was here. He'll figure that out later right now he needed to ran.
Before he could even start running, someone stopped in front of him. He glared at that someone, only to widen his eyes.
"Liam." He uttered stunned.

How does he know my name? Wait that's not important, We need to leave before that b***h comes here.
"You need to come with me right now. I will explain everything later." He took his hand before running. Zeke just looked at him confused but thankfully let Liam drag him.
"Zeke!" A beautiful girl called him. Her blue hair and green eyes announcing her as a royal blood.
"Too late." Liam muttered stopping as his worst nightmare took place before his eyes. But this time he will protect Zeke.
