Chapter 33 – JORDAN TALKS

Third Person POV

While Aiden and Dylan are shocked by the arrival of their father, they are even more petrified of his threat. Aiden knows that he screwed up and needs to fix the situation. He can only wait for Madison to return to New York. Whether she will have mercy on him or not is left to be figured out later. He needs to focus on make sure is business don’t fail due to his stupidity.

Back in LA the Anderson and Adams families faces another crisis. After there arrival home Christian decided to question Jordan and find out what his problem with their families really was. “Considering the life, we live with our families there must set boundaries and guidelines to ensure that our loved ones are always safe. Now people wanting to kill us and take over our families is part of doing business. But everyone knows we draw the line at the snakes that decide to infiltrate our families. Do you know why Jordan?” Christian says. Jordan spits on the floor trying to show that he does not care what Christian is talking about but in reality, he is scared because he knows his uncle is not coming to save him. Then he thinks about it why keep his uncle Maverick’s secret when he has never really done anything for his family. That is of course until he needed our help because he was going broke. He is the reason Charles Anderson killed the uncle that was taking care of them. He framed his own brother for the theft the Andersons faced, when it was him. The only reason he agreed to help was to get revenge for his uncle death. He figured if he could hurt Madison that would be retribution for his uncle.

Even with those thoughts he decided to remain calm with the hope that his uncle Maverick would have a plan to get him out of this mess. He knows that Chloe was able to escape, so he knows she will have to contact them. He just looks away from Christian. Then the silence broke by Christian’s phone ringing. He looks down and smiles because of the caller. He shows the phone to Caleb and Jayden but they advice to make him sweat by not answering the phone, so he sends it to voicemail. The phone rings three times before it stopped ringing. Christian turns to look at Jordan and smiles. “Let me see if you uncle is willing to risk his life to save you. What you think Jayden is Maverick the kind of person to give a s**t about anybody but himself, or and I forgot about his slut of a daughter.” Christian said. Jayden looks up and smile. “No bro he is a selfish individual and want give two shits about this asshole sitting here. I say we let this fool sweat it out a couple of days.” Jayden says before they all leave the room laughing.

Jordan is sitting there thinking because he knows Christian is right about his uncle Maverick and cousin Sarah, they don’t care about anyone other than themselves. He realizes he just need to cut his losses and tell Christian what is going on and he will have mercy on me. So he decided to ask the guard to get Christian so that they could talk. The guard goes to find Christian and tell him that Jordan wants to see him.

Meanwhile Madison was sitting in the family room with her laptop reading the emails that were sent to the company back in New York. She stops because she sees that Aiden is still trying to work with her and the family. She wanders if is mind is broken. She recaps everything he has done to her. First the losing of her child, kidnapping, attempted murder and let us not forget he is now suing her. She just chuckles and shake her head. Her father asked her what she was laughing at, so she decided to share with the family in the room with her. Her sister Sydney said that she thinks that Aiden believes that he can manipulate her because she still loves him. Madison just laughs because even if in the beginning there was still a spot in her heart for him it is well gone because of all the stuff that has happened. Him suing her was the last straw for her. Before she can respond to her sister Jaden speaks up from behind her. “He does not love her; he is obsessed with getting her back because he realizes he let the best woman go because of the slut he ran off and married. My sources tell me that he did an internal audit in his company and realized that Sarah was sleeping with Joshua in his finance department. He was helping her steal the company money and transfer it to her fathers account. He is now regretting his decision because he lost a child he knew was his and now don’t even know if the b***h baby is his. So he has regret but it’s too late. I will not let him worm his way back into her life in order to have financial support.” Jayden says pissed off.

Nobody says anything to him because they understand how sensitive this topic is for him. Madison just reaches for his hand and squeeze it and smiled. She knows he do not have to worry about Aiden because when she gets back to New York he will regret everything he has ever put her through. Charles asked how there talk with the prisoner went, but they told him he was unwilling to talk. They wanted to give him time to think but Charles encouraged the three of them to go back and make him talk by any means necessary. He felt they did not have time to play games. If they did not get what they need make an example of him. Nodding they headed back to the basement. Before leaving the guard was already coming in to tell them he wanted to talk. Christian, Caleb, and Jayden walked back in the room and stood there giving him the opportunity to speak. “Listen Christian if you are waiting on my uncle to come to save me or strike a deal, you will be waiting a long time because you are absolutely right, he is a selfish man and don’t care about anybody but himself and his daughter. The only reason that I agree to take this job is because your dad killed my uncle for stealing from the family. Maverick two years ago set up his brother to take the fall. He thought that if his brother took the fall he could take over the family business, but Charles Anderson dissolved the family and incorporated with his. That put me and my cousins out on the streets. We stopped dealing with Maverick because of that but a few weeks ago he put it out there that he had a problem with a Madison but he didn’t know her real identity, you could tell by the way he talked but I knew who she was because I saw her with her dad the day he killed my uncle. She just stood and didn’t do anything to help us, so I blamed her. You have bigger problems than just me infiltrating the family because he is coming for your sister, he says he has a score to settle. He wants to kidnap her to use as a bargaining tool but he doesn’t plan to give her back. He plans to sell her. He already has an overseas buyer but who I don’t know.” Jordan says. Who could have bought Madison?
