Chapter 34 – What is wrong with Maverick

Jayden’s POV

We are standing here listening to Jordan tell us what Maverick plan is, and I am speechless. He cannot be this delusional to think that he would get away with something like this. I need to get my wife so that she can talk to Jordan personally because it seems like we are missing something. Nobody should hates her this much for no reason, we are missing a bigger picture. I send Alex upstairs to get Madison because I plan to figure this out today. Why would Madison have such an issue with this family. It only takes a few minutes before my wife is walking in with Alex. When she walked in, I looked up and noticed the look of disdain on Jordan’s face. Me and Christian shared a look and realization set in that he hates Madison.

“Hey babe! I wanted you to come down here because Jordan has shared some information that we wanted your input on.” I say. “Ok but I don’t know how I can help, but I will try.” Madison said. Jordan snorted and looked away. He was getting on my nerves and if he didn’t quite the disrespect, I will personally take action. I walk over to her and kiss her on the forehead. She looks up and over at him, but he turns his head. “I want to talk to him alone.” Madison says. “Hell no! that is out of the question if you talk to him, it is with us present. You have know idea the danger you are in with his family, so I refuse to leave you alone. Everyone stays including the bodyguards just in case we need to put a bullet in his head.” I say. After I told Madison that, I can see that smirk he had on his face has faded.

“Look are we going to talk or just look at each other.” Jordan says. I swear I am going to kill him before the end of the night but Madison grabs my arm and pull me back. She then walks over to Jordan and pull up a chair and sit down. I must say I am proud of her because her aura is amazing. She is definitely making my d**k hard watching her show her power. He takes one look at her and for a moment I see uncertainty in his eyes, but he shakes it off real fast. She sits there in silence waiting for him to speak. The i***t Caleb is laughing at how she is owning the room. I just put my head down because he thinks him staring at her is going to shake her, he has another thing coming. He eventually clears his throat and begins to speak.

“So about 2 ½ years ago you and your father came to talk to my uncle Malachi Jones. And accused us of stealing from your family and I handed you paperwork showing our records that it was Maverick, but you ignored it and did not even take time to look at the proof.” Jordan says. “I remember but I was following orders.” Madison says. He gets angry and stand up slamming his hand into the table in front of her. We are getting ready to move in but she shows us to stay back. She stands up and looks him dead in the eyes. “Sit your ass down or I will leave, and you can go to your grave without telling me what you want to say. One more outburst and that’s exactly what you get.” She says.

I look up and see he has gotten control of his emotions and is sitting down. He better had gotten his emotions in check or he would have had to deal with me. “Listen I am sorry but I get up set because my uncle was a good man. He took care of all us boys and provided us with a purpose. Then my uncle Maverick who could careless about his family set him up so that he could take over the Jones family. When he took over the family went down it was no longer making a profit and then he put all of us out because he said there was only enough money for his family. That is the type of person we are dealing with selfish.” Jordan says. “So if you know that he is that kind of person, but you still chose to follow him and come after me why?” Madison ask. “Because I hated you and your family for taking the only father figure I had left in this world my uncle was a good man and he deserved so much more.” Jordan says.

“Listen I understand that and I probably would feel the same way in your shoes but you don’t know everything about that situation. I was told to keep my mouth shut for a reason. Taking me along on that job was my father trying to prove appoint that I belonged in our world and me marrying an outsider was not a good idea, but he didn’t realize at the time I was going to leave regardless because my heart was hurting and I couldn’t stay. My dad knew that your uncle Malachi was being set up by his brother at that time. Your uncles life was in danger and my family did what they did to protect your uncle and the rest of his nephews. Maverick would have stopped at nothing back then to kill his brother. Just like today he will do anything for money and power. I bet you don’t even know what they have done to me. He has run the Jones family and it’s businesses in the ground. So he and his daughter came up with a plan to come in and break up my marriage to Aiden Greene so that Sarah could take my place. They had been stealing money from Aiden to keep there company thriving. What they didn’t anticipate was me being the daughter of Charles Anderson because before the incident with your uncle Malachi nobody knew what the princesses of the Anderson family looked like. They assumed that I was just some regular girl they could manipulate and throw away. I bet they didn’t tell you that they were foolish enough to abduct me. This whole situation is just one big mess.” Madison said. “ Wow they made me think the story was just the opposite. I approached him after the Gala and told him that I could help him with his problems. I knew y’all were looking for extra men because of the attempts on your life. He trusted me because I was his nephew. I didn’t understand why but your team hired me quickly and here we are. But I do know that after he found out you were Charles daughter he devised a new plan to kidnap you and hold you until he get what he wanted from your dad but he doesn’t plan to return you, he plans to sell you to a man overseas that has a problem with your dad.” Jordan says. “ I appreciate your honesty but you are wrong about our family, we did not do the things you think we did.” Madison says. She then takes out her phone and places a call and put it on speaker, it rings and you hear an old man voice. “Hello!”
