Aubry started fidgeting. If Katherine didn't take her, who did she take? Where was Cara?
"Cara?" Aubry called out as she dropped off the horse, her eyes searching amongst the people that stood on the ground.
"The queen left with her."
Aubry knew it. Cara had told her the queen might leave with her if she had other duties. This wasn't better at any point for Aubry. Everything was still linked to her. She just hoped Rachael would understand and forgive her. But even of it wasn't her blood that took Katherine to their cottage, someone would surely do.
