Bethany was shoving clothes into her backpack when she heard the knock at the door of Michael’s cottage. She didn’t have time to talk with anyone. She just wanted to find a way to leave all this madness, but still, she opened the door. She was surprised to see Olena. She thought everyone had already gone up to the dig site. “Something happened,” Olena said. “Come.”
“What happened? Where are we going?” Bethany asked.
“To inn. Dmytro say he want to talk to all of us.”
“But I’m not part of the team any longer. I quit it. I’ll be leaving soon.”
“You come hear Dmytro now.”
