Chapter 26 “Oh, my God, did I sleep here all night?” Bethany asked with a groan the next morning as she stumbled from the bedroom. Except for her boots, she was still fully dressed. “You did,” Michael grumbled from the sofa as he sat up. “And you snore. Loudly. The bathroom is right there.” He pointed to a corner with a sheet over it. She looked horrified. “No door?” “I wasn’t expecting I’d need one,” he said. She ducked behind the curtain while he got up and put on water for coffee. “There’s no shower,” she said as she sat at the table. He poured them both some coffee and brought her a cup. “You’re lucky there’s a tub.
