"Odell, who's toothbrush is this?!" Liz said pulling a neon pink and black toothbrush from behind her back. "Ion no?" He said not even looking at her, he continued pushing the buttons on the PlayStation controller, Odell's focus was clearly on the game he was playing with Jordan. "Odell! You're not even looking!" She whined at him. He quickly looked up at then at the toothbrush, then turned back to the video game. "It's Massy's." He confessed as if it wasn't a big deal, and to him, it wasn't. "OH MY GOD! I know it's hers!" "So why you ask me who's it was?" "Because I wanted to see if you would lie about it! Why is it still in your house!" She turned around to the trash and forcefully threw it in. "It's been over a month! GET OVER IT AND HER!" She yelled after tossing it away then went to stand where she was. Odell paused the game and looked up at Liz, Jordan mouth dropped open, he knew Liz just messed up, but poor Liz didn't realize it. Jordan had never seen Odell be so protective of a woman outside of his family the way he was with Massy. "Oooo girl!" Jordan said looking up at her. Odell looked around the room for a minute as if he was trying to figure out if she could have been speaking to anyone else. "Who's house is this?" He asked calmly. Liz frowned rolling her eyes up. "What does that have to do with anything?" She asked. "Who's. House. Is. This?" He repeated only slower. "Yours." She said not realizing what was about to happen. "Right. This is MY house. So if I want a f*****g month old toothbrush from a ex girlfriend in my f*****g bathroom located in my f*****g house then that's what the f**k I'll have!" Odell stood up and walked past Liz to the trash can and pulled the toothbrush out of it slamming it on the kitchen counter. "And while we on the subject of Massy. I ain't like dat bullshit you pulled when she was ova here that night! You think that s**t was funny or cute!? Because it wasn't." Liz stood there speechless, she couldn't believe he was yelling at her over a toothbrush, but it wasn't just a toothbrush, it was Massy's and for Liz, a girl he had no true feelings for toss it in the trash only made his temper short. "Oh, you ain't got s**t to say now?" Odell said leaning in closer as if her was trying to hear her speak. "Well since you ain't got s**t to say, and since you got a issue with Massy's toothbrush being in my house, then you can go back to your house, and not come back to my house." Odell clenched his teeth looking down at Liz. He stood there for a moment, then walked back to the couch and sat down, picking up the controller and starting the game back up. "And take my f*****g shirt off and put it back where you got it." He said not looking at her and focusing on the tv screen. "You should probably wash that toothbrush before you put it back in yo bathroom brah" Jordan nonchalantly added as if Odell didn't just flip out on Liz. "Thank you brah, remind me to do dat." He said turning and looking at Jordan then turning back to the game. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Week seventeen would not only be a lose but a very emotional lose for the Giants as the took on the Philadelphia Eagles for a playoff spot. It was the third straight loss for the Giants with a score of 30-35 and ultimately leaving them with a 6-10 record to close out the season. After meeting and shaking hands with Eagles head coach Pat Shurmur at midfield, Coughlin walked off the field, waving to the crowd just before walking into the tunnel. At this point fans and teammates realized this was indeed Coach Coughlin's last game. Coughlin, who led the Giants to two Super Bowl titles in his 12 seasons, even though he had a year left on his contract. His future was to be decided by co-owners John Mara and Steve Tisch. Coughlin knew he would be going into retirement and he'd be breaking the news the next day and hold a press conference. "I love Coach Coughlin," Odell said before the news broke Monday. "He's always going to be my coach." While Coughlin may have been hard on Odell at times, especially early in his rookie season, he said he understood why, Coughlin's was "coaching him up." "It's been great since the day I met him," Odell said speaking into the mic' sat the press conference. "Initially a younger player would immaturely think coach is always on you. He's always on you, he's always on you . . . why is he always on you? It was growing up, maturing, and learning that it was, he knew what was in me, he wanted to bring the best out. And he was going to do everything that he could to do that. Along the journey, it's been great with Coach as far as growing and learning each other and teaching me things, just how to be a man in general." With the season over and done with, Odell would turn the majority of his attention to Massy, he could admit he had some growing and maturing to do. He thought back on the conversation he had with his mother and acting the way he was towards Massy wasn't going to get him anywhere good with her.
