After their kiss both of them just looked at each other wide eyes and blushing like teenagers. Still holding each other in their arms. The moonlight made Adalinda's soft hair look almost silky. Tase couldn't hold back himself and gently took a piece of her long, coral hair between his fingers and watched as the gentle breeze of the night flew it out of his grasp. A bitter sweet thought crossed his mind making him frown. Adalinda noticed it and put her index finger on the lines between Tase's eyebrows.

- Stop frowning! You'll look like a grumpy old man! - she said and Tase smiled a bit but that thought still lingered in his mind.

- What are you thinking about? - Ada asked while she took a step further. Tase watched her small figure in front of the endless forest beneath them and inhaled her sweet scent before shrugging.

- It doesn't matter. - Ada put her hands on her small waist revealing her fragile but curvy figure even better.

- Talk to me, Tase. - she said and as if her words were direct orders, his lips obeyed.

- I just thought, that one day, you can slip through my fingers as easily as your hair did and... - he took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

- I don't really know how I'll be able to move on after that. - Ada's heart clenched at the sight in front of her. The tall, muscular man who stood there, fully revealing his heart yet still vary of the worst. The man who once was an injured boy. He found her in his deepest moments and yet, he was the one who finally brought light into her dim life. She exiled herself into the deepest and coldest part of the Kingdom. Far from everything she ever knew just to avoid her fate, and still, her fate ended up laying in front of her door. She had so many things ahead. The desire Adalinda kept deeply in her wounded heart, will bring danger to whoever stays too close to her and she couldn't risk to get him burned by the fire. But the man who was once a boy, now stood in front of her. After a decade separated from each other. Adalinda whished day and night for her heart to forget him. To protect Tase from the dangers she is going to bring him. But her heart couldn't let him go, and neither his ever gave up the hope to see her again. Adalinda knew at the holy moment when Denise showed her proudly the picture of her smallest grandson. It was clear as the summer sky, that those amber eyes are going to be her destiny. She saw him in his own eyes, all grown up, she saw the boy who he will be one day. And there he was, the amber eyed boy, grown into a man, the only one she ever laid her eyes on. So close to her... It would've been so easy to give in to her feelings. But she wasn't selfish enough to put him in danger for her own reasons. She just watched him and despite her determination she whispered.

- How could I ever do that? - Tase opened his eyes and looked at her. Fat tears were running down on her rosy cheeks, they sparkled as pearls under the moonlight. He immediately took two big steps to get rid of the distance that separated them. He held her face in his hands and without a word pulled her in for another kiss. This time it was a passionate and yearning kiss. It told Adalinda his feeling without words and as she melted into his arms, Tase also felt it. Adalinda belonged to him and only him. But why is Titan not howling? Why is him not feeling the mate bond. There was something carnal between them, he ended up at her doorstep half alive and she appeared in front of him looking like a slave. As if fate was pulling them back together.

- I should go to my room now. - Ada said as their kiss broke. Tase put his forehead against hers and whispered almost begging.

- Stay, please. - her eyes met his and they both got lost in the deepness of each other's stare. Move. Move your legs Lin... You cannot give in. Not now. You must get justice first. For them... For mom, Dad, and... Marty. She sighed.

- I'll stay, but just to sleep. I'm tired. - she said and Tade tilted his head. Ada then realized that he had no other intentions than holding her in his arms and she laughed at her own dirty mind.

- What would we doooh....I see... Well, I didn't think about that, seriously. - Tase said blushing a bit and Adalinda laughed even more. He just watched her laugh for her heart's content.

-" You dirty dog... You thought about sleeping with her! And now you are pretending to be dumb! - Titan growled.

"- I won't show this part of me yet. I don't want to force anything on her or make her feel as if I had expectations towards her. I've waited to hold Ada like this for years that felt like an eternity. There's no way I'll ruin things now. - he extended his hand and Ada took it. Tase lead her in front of him and, closed the doors of the balcony behind them following Adalinda back to his bed. She laid down and stretched herself like a sleepy kitten bringing a smile on Tase's face. He leaned next to her and gently held her waist with Ada facing him. Her eyes slowly closed and her breathing got slower and rhythmic. Tase pulled her closer, carefully not to wake her up and rested his chin on top of her head, inhaling the scent of honeysuckles. But that night, Ada's smell was a bit different. The smell of honeysuckles wasn't that intense, instead she smelled a bit salty like the sea breeze. He kissed the top of her head and before closing his eyes he softly whispered.

- I'm falling in love with you.

-" You've fell in love with her long time ago, just accept it. - Titan said and Tase sighed. His wolf was saying the truth. She was so young when they met, but her sweetness captured his heart and slowly, in just a few days, silently as a fairy, she stitched his broken pieces back together. Without knowing, Adalina gave him the strength he needed to keep going ahead, even after her k********g. The thought to find her and be able to protect her made him into the man he was that day. Tase never left his guard down, he noticed everything around him even back then. He saw clearly and felt what Titan. That something wasn't right around Adalinda but he simply decided to turn a blind eye to the mysteries surrounding her. Tase trusted her and knew she'll let him know her secrets when she is ready. But for now, being next to her, and sometimes pretend to be naive to hide the fact that he was madly in love, was enough for Tase. He wanted to shelter her from envious glances and jealous intrigues. The thought of her being in the arms of an other man, made the hair stand up on his back. In reality, it didn't matter for him what was Titan's opinion, Adalinds was his. A loud thunder shook the sky and Adalinda's eyes opened abruptly. Their eyes met and Tase was something in those iridescent eyes he never saw before, it was pure, undeniable pain. Without thinking he pulled her to his chest and covered her ears from the sounds.

- I got you Ada, everything is fine. - he said kissing the top of her head again and she just snuggled to him, hugging him, holding him close. The same though appeared in both of their minds simultaneously.

"I can maybe be a bit selfish just for tonight."
