Chapter Twelve: Explosion

The night is warm when Gabriel and Serapina arrived at the restaurant where his birthday was going to celebrate. After Gabriel park his car, they entered the building while a smile is still written on their face. With that, Serapina clings her hand to Gabriel's arms causing him to feel happy because of her. Since the restaurant is on the tenth floor of the building they decided to take an elevator. While Serapina and Gabriel are on the elevator, he saw that the man on his left side was looking at them. After that, the man looks at Serapina's body who was now wearing a dress. All of a sudden, Serapina feel uncomfortable since she saw the lust in the eyes of the man who she didn't know.

"Gabriel, the man at your left side is looking at me hungrily," Serapina said to Gabriel in a soft voice.

"Do you want me to break his bones?" Gabriel said to Serapina.

Serapina shakes her head as answers for Gabriel. Then, Gabriel covers Serapina so that the man on his left side didn't see her. But, to their surprise, the man changes his position to look again at Serapina's body. With that, Serapina felt mad all of a sudden because of the man she didn't know. And to Gabriel's surprised Serapina kick the man on his legs causing him to cry in pain.

"If you are in heat just look for a prostitute!" Serapina said angrily to a man in front of her.

"If you want me to respect you just wear decent clothes!" The man answered Serapina with disgust on his face.

Gabriel was going to punch him when Serapina stops him. With that, Gabriel chose to see what Serapina was going to do to the man in front of them. Gabriel was thankful because it's only three of them in the elevator. So that, he doesn't need to worry about what happens in the man in front of them.

"So, you're telling me that is it my fault now? I didn't do anything wrong so don't tell me what I'm going to wear! Just keep in your small mind that I can wear whatever I want! It's not my fault if you are hungry for s*x!" Serapina explained in an angry tone.

After that, Serapina slaps the man in front of him before going outside of the elevator. While the man looks scared inside the elevator causing her to get confused. Instead of looking at him again, they chose to ignore him and look for the restaurant. Minutes have passed when Gabriel and Serapina arrived in the restaurant, they are surprised because they are grinning in their direction.

"Finally, both of you are here!" Billy said with a grin on his face. "Wait, what is in the box?" Billy asks Gabriel.

Gabriel shows his playful smile to his friends before answering. "It's a cake."

"Cake? Who gave that cake?" Derick asks Gabriel while confusion is written on his face.

"It's Serapina," Gabriel said.

Serapina was shocked when Gabriel's friends shout causing her to step back a little. While the parents of Gabriel were grinning at their son who was now blushing.

"How about your bracelet?" Stacey asks while creasing her eyebrows.

"I gave that bracelet to him," Serapina answered while smiling at Stacey.

"All in all, you gave him a cake and a bracelet?" Stacey asks again.

"Yes."

After their interrogation, Gabriel and Serapina sat down on their sits while waiting for their food. Since Shiela was curious about the cake, she can't help but asks Serapina who was busy talking to Gabriel. "Serapina, how about the cake? Did you buy it? Shiela asks Serapina.

"Nope, auntie. I baked it for him," Serapina answered to Shiela.

With that, Shiela smiles again before looking at her son. After that, their food arrives so that they starting eating while smiles are plastered on their lips. In the middle of their eating, they heard a loud explosion causing them to feel panic. Stacey shouts when the ground is shaking like there's an earthquake happening inside the building. Suddenly, Serapina feels scared when she saw the floor is breaking one by one.

"We need to go now! Look! The floor is breaking!" Serapina said in a panic.

They didn't waste time and stands up there to leave the place. But, the floor is splitting in half causing them to feels scared. And to Serapina's surprise, she saw Gabriel was still on the side of the floor. Since the floor is split in half Gabriel can't go in their direction.

"Wait for me there, Gabriel, I'm going to save you!" Serapina said in a panic.

Once again, they feel that the floor was shaking again causing them to feel scared. In a wide eye, Serapina looks for Gabriel who is now falling. Because of what Shiela saw she feels that she was going to die when she saw Gabriel was falling. Since Gabriel was falling Serapina didn't think twice and spread her golden wings to save him.

"Leave now! I'm afraid there will be an explosion again," Serapina said in a hurry to Stacey.

With that, Serapina flies faster to save Gabriel who was now still falling. While Stacey and the others were shocked because of what they saw. It feels like they are dreaming since they didn't expect that Serapina was an angel.

"Holy crap! I can't believe what I saw!" Billy said with a wide eye.

"Me too! I can't believe it!" Derick said, then he looks at Stacey.

So that, they leave the place in a hurry just like Serapina said. Even though they are shocked because of what they learned about Serapina's identity they chose to leave the building for now to save their lives. When they are outside in the building they look for Serapina and Gabriel but they are still not with them. With a wide eye, they look at the building that is now collapsing in front of them.

"Where's my son?" Shiela asks while still crying.

"They are not still here," Stacey said while crying also.

Since they are in private parking there's no other person in the area. But, still, Shiela can't stop her crying since she saw how her son falling on the floor. Shiela was going to ask again when they saw something flying in their direction. To their surprise, it was Serapina holding Gabriel who still blushing causing them to get confused. When Serapina and Gabriel landed on the ground Serapina close her golden wings once again. But, before that, Stacey speaks in awe while looking at Serapina.

"Wait! Can I hold your wings?" Stacey asks Serapina who was now shocked because of what she heard.

"S-sure," Serapina said then smiles a little at them.

"I want to hold also," Derick said.

"Me too!" Billy said also while his eyes are shining.

Serapina smiles again because she thought that they are going to afraid of her because of what they saw. But, she was wrong since they looked amazed while looking at her golden wings. Then, Shiela hugs Gabriel who was now still blushing his face.

"Are you okay, son?" Shiela asks in concern.

"I'm okay, mommy."

"Are you sure, son?"

"Yes, daddy. Don't worry about me," Gabriel said while smiling.

When they are complete already they chose to leave the area while a smile was plastered on their face. Since they know Serapina's deepest secret they promise that they didn't tell anybody to protect her from danger. Minutes have passed when they arrived at Gabriel's house to have their dinner. Gabriel was going to ask Serapina when he was shocked because of what he saw.

"Serapina, your nose is bleeding!" Gabriel said in a panic.

Serapina was going to answer him when she feels that her body become weaker and weaker. After that Serapina lost her consciousness because she was exhausted. In a flash of light, Gabriel carries Serapina to his room to get her some rest since he knows that flying in the air will be exhausting for her.

"Is she okay?" Shiela asks in concern.

"Don't worry, mommy, she's okay. She's just exhausted because of what happened."

Instead of answering her son, Shiela just nods her head before looking at Serapina. Even though she's different from them, Shiela knows that she is harmless. While Gabriel brings Serapina to his room with a hidden smile plastered on his lips.

"You never fail to amaze me, Serapina," Gabriel said to his mind.
