WARNING!!! s****l assault TRIGGERS!!!
I could feel Isaac watching me all day. Yet, every time I looked at him, he was with Nina. Which did not help my urge to throw her into a wall, at all. Every time I saw her face, that urge only got stronger as the memory of them together replayed in my head, time and time again.
I had a free period at the end of the day and chose to spend it in the school gym, to try and work out my anger.
I had come here when the second break started and I was still here working out. There were about 10 minutes left of class and a guy had just walked in as I got out of the girls' showers. As I was walking into the girls' locker rooms, the guy grabbed me, covering my mouth with his hand.
“You're Isaac's girl, aren't you? This will be fun.” He said darkly.
“What?” I mumble, afraid of what might happen.
He punched me in the side of my head and I dropped to the floor. I had no idea what was about to happen, but I was terrified. He tore my towel away before taking his pants off. I tried to crawl away but he pulled me back by my legs and climbed on top of me. He thrust himself into me harshly. I tried to scream, but he was choking me now, so I couldn't make a noise. He kept choking me and hitting me as he f****d me harshly.
'I can't believe this is even happening. AT SCHOOL. Of all things and places. And because he thinks I am Isaac's girl.' I thought to myself.
By the time he was finished, I couldn't move, and I could barely breathe. I had no clue what the time was, but I knew the Mateo's would be worried. I tried calling out to Ian and Zac with my mind, seeing as they're the ones with telepathy. I hoped they would be trying to read my mind, to try and find me.
“Ian? Zac? Can you hear me?” I shouted with my telepathy.
“Clem! Where are you? What are you doing?” Zac answered immediately, sounding extremely worried.
“I'm in the gym. Please bring Dante and Dom here. Not Isaac.” I said weakly.
“We're on our way. Stay there. Don't move.” Ian said.
“Not going to be a problem.”
Ian, Zac, Dom, and Dante walked into the locker rooms and saw me on the floor. All 4 of them appeared at my side.
“Clem? Oh, my god. What happened?” Dante asked, sounding increasingly worried.
I looked at Ian. “I was raped and beaten,” I told him in a whisper.
“She was, raped and beaten. I don't think she can move.” Ian said out loud.
Dante bit into his wrist and held it to my mouth.
“It's ok. It'll heal you.” He whispered, his face showing nothing but concern.
I hesitantly opened my mouth and swallowed the blood pouring from his wrist. Much to my surprise, his blood tasted, sweet. Like chocolate. Very strange given the irony smell. I could feel as my body started healing rapidly.
“Come on. Let's get you home.” Dom said, carefully picking me up.
I leaned into his chest as Dante put his jacket over me to hide my naked body from prying eyes. The boys took me to Dante's car and laid me in the back seat. Dante drove carefully, toward the house.
The car suddenly started rolling and both Dante and I were thrown through the windshield. My head hit a sharp rock and everything went black. No pain. No emotions. Coldness. That was it.
Am I, dead?
Dante P.O.V
Someone or something hit my car, causing Clem and me to crash. I got up as I popped my broken arm back into place, and looked around. I saw Clem on the road, bleeding heavily from her head. I sped to her side and checked her pulse as Dom, Ian, and Zac appeared beside me.
“SHE'S DEAD,” I shouted angrily.
I turned around when I heard footsteps. A horde of vampires appeared out of nowhere. There were so many of them. At least 50.
“Hand the girl over, Mateo's.” The vampire in front demanded.
“Not a chance,” Dom growled, as I slowly stood up, my eyes narrowing onto him.
“YOU KILLED MY BEST FRIEND,” I shouted, angry tears threatening to fall.
“It's your funeral.” He stated before they all attacked.
All hell broke loose and we were losing. Ian and Zac were anticipating their attacks and telling us. Dom was throwing them all over the place and I was controlling a few of them, making them fight for us, but It was draining my energy very fast. Even with all of us using our powers, we were still losing.
Clem appeared in front of my brothers and me, wearing my school jacket and a pair of gym shorts from my bag. Her skin was slightly paler than before and her eyes were bright red.
“She turned,” I said in shock.
“Get down. Now.” Her voice rang through my head.
I looked at my brothers to see them laying on the ground. I did as she said and dropped next to Dom.
“Ignalusa.” Clem chanted.
The fire appeared in her hands and she blew it out of her hands, scorching every one of the attacking vampires as she turned in a circle, missing us since she had us drop to the ground. I looked around and saw piles upon piles of dust, before getting up once the fire had disappeared.
“Clem?” I said softly as I slowly walked towards her.
“What happened to me?” She asked, fear covering her delicate features.
“You died. In the crash. But, because you had my blood in your system, you turned instead of staying dead.” I explained in a soft tone.
“Oh,” Clem whispered. “I feel, thirsty.” She added, holding her throat as she swallowed.
“Let's get you home. Get you some blood. Come on.” Dom said softly, holding his hand out to her.
“Ok,” Clem whispered, taking his hand.
Since my car was wreaked, Clem and I drove home with Dom in his car.
Clementine P.O.V
I didn't want to be a Vampire. Why did this have to happen to me?
We all got back to the house and Dom and Dante walked me inside. Kat and Andrew were pacing the front lobby anxiously. They both stopped when they saw us walk in.
“Clem? Dante, what happened?” Andrew asked.
“Long story,” Dante replied.
“Clem, are you ok?” Kat asked as she hugged me tightly.
“I'm thirsty,” I said softly, standing still.
I hadn't realised Dom had left until he reappeared beside me, holding a blood bag.
“Drink this. Don't be shy, we won't judge.” Dom smiled reassuringly.
I took the blood bag and hesitantly put it to my lips. As soon as the blood touched my lips, I couldn't control myself and ended up sucking the bag dry. Isaac walked in with Benji and Enzo.
“Clem! Oh, thank God they found you. I was worried sick.” Isaac sighed in relief as he engulfed me in a hug.
“Stay away from me!” I growled, throwing him out the front door that was, thankfully, still wide open.
“She turned? How? What the hell happened?” Benji hurried in a worried tone as I licked a drop of blood from my lip.
“We should talk in the lounge room. Maybe get Clem another bag.” Dante suggested as he held me close to him.
“I'll go and grab us all some blood. I think we'll all need it. Go on to the lounge room. I'll be there in a second.” Kat said, smiling at me sadly before disappearing.
“Come on, Kebab Queen.” Dante smiled down at me.
“Ok. Lord Smoothie.” I said softly with a weak smile.
Being with Dante, Dom, Ian, and Zac made me feel safe. They found me almost beaten to death and didn't hesitate to help me. They didn't look at me when I was lying naked on the floor at school, they kept their eyes on my face and didn't hesitate to heal me. I was really thankful for Dante feeding me his blood to heal me. I would not be here if he hadn't. Even if I did end up dying. At least I came back, right?
We were all in the lounge room now. Even Isaac, unfortunately. Kat had brought us all some blood, and a few extra bags just for me. Something about newborn vampires needing a lot of blood after they first wake up.
“Alright. Clem, can you tell us what happened, sweetie?” Andrew asked softly as he leaned forward on his knees.
“Well, I kept getting angrier all day, since every time I looked at Isaac, he was with, Nina. So, at the start of the second break, I went to the gym because I had a free period last. When it got close to the end of school, I had a shower, but when I walked out some random guy grabbed me and said, “You're Isaac's girl, aren't you? This is gonna be fun.” And before I could do anything, he punched me and I dropped. Then he tore my towel away, choked me, and beat me, both while, raping me till I couldn't move. I called out to Ian and Zac with my telepathy, hoping to God they were looking for me. I asked them to bring Dante and Dom, not Isaac, to the gym. They showed up a few seconds later and saw me on the floor. I told them what happened, and Dante gave me his blood to heal me.” I explained as best as I could without triggering myself.
“Then what happened?” Kat asked from her seat beside me.
“Dom picked me up, Dante covered me with his jacket and they laid me in the back of Dante's car. The next thing I knew, we were rolling and Dante and I were thrown through the windshield. My head hit a sharp rock or something and everything went black and I couldn't feel anything. I think that's what killed me.” I told her, my voice breaking slightly when I mentioned me dying.
“Dante, what happened after you crashed?” Andrew asked, glancing at me worriedly.
“A horde of Vampires showed up and demanded we hand over Clem. I have no idea why, but when we refused, they attacked us.” Dante began.
“They attacked you?” Andrew asked in disbelief. “Did they know who you are?” He asked in shock and anger.
“Yeah. They called us 'Mateo's' when they ordered us to hand her over.” Zac said from his place standing behind me with Ian.
Since we've been home, Ian, Zac, Dom, and Dante haven't left my side. Apart from when Dom went to get me a blood bag.
“Why did they want me though? Technically, I was a corpse when they said that.” I say casually, though my heart skipped.
I didn't realise vampires even had heartbeats.
“I have no idea. But we will find out, I promise. So, how did you get away?” Andrew asked curiously and concerned.
“I incinerated them all,” I admitted.
“How many were there?” He asked with a look of pride.
“At least, 50. Probably more. It's a good thing Clem woke up when she did because we were losing. We had our powers, but they had the numbers. They were overwhelming us, big time.” Dante explained, sipping his blood.
“Amazing,” Kat whispered before looking at Andrew. “We're going to have to call Brent.”
“Yeah. I'll go do that now and invite him to dinner.” Andrew says, standing up from his seat across from me.
Isaac hadn't said a single word after I mentioned him being with Nina. Thank God.
“Can I go to the garden, please? Alone?” I asked, looking at Kat.
“Of course, sweetie.” She smiled and nodded before looking up at the boys. “I know none of you want to leave Clem alone, but she needs time to process what's happened. She's been through a lot lately, especially today. And I'm sure she'll call for you if she needs you.” Kat added as I stood up, finishing my glass of blood.
I put the blood bags Kat brought to the lounge room, into my bag after making sure my phone and dock were fine and still working.
“Ian and Zac can call me when Brent arrives, or when dinner is ready. Whichever happens first.” I said softly, but with no emotion before leaving for the garden.
When I got to the garden, I set up my phone and dock and sat down beside the pond. I put on my favourite chill mix and let my emotions go. Holding them back in front of the others was nearly impossible. But I wasn't going to let myself break in front of them.
