Jason really surprised me. I didn't expect him to care about me so much.

But there were some things that I still couldn't tell him. "Jason, I need your help," I could only ask him for help in this way. After all, I didn't want him to know the relationship between Wayne and me, or the conflict with Leopard.

Jason was a good man, and I couldn't make him involved in such a chaotic life as mine.

"If I don't come, how do I know what will happen between you and another man?"

I looked back at Jason nervously. In fact, I was very afraid that he would find out the relationship between Wayne and me. Jason was one of the few people who respected me in Paradise Lost. I didn't want him to see me be humble like this.

There was still a hint of incredibility on Jason's face, but he greeted Wayne respectfully, "Mr. Wayne, what did you say?"

"I said, Jo Jo is my woman. You'd better stay away from her from now on, or..."

"Mr. Wayne!" I interrupted him in a hurry. And I pulled Jason out the store, "Jason, just go back. I'll call you if I need help."

"Jo Jo, what's going on? Why do you..."

"No! Jason, don't ask me anything!" I looked at him sadly.

Jason seemed to understand me. He just nodded and left silently.

I stood on a pile of broken glass at the door, watching Jason's leave. But before his figure disappeared from my sight, Wayne suddenly came up and pinched my shoulder, "Caroline! You're really brilliant at seducing men!"

It wasn't until now that I realized he really never called my real name in front of others. He called me Jo Jo even when we were with Jason just now.

"I just want to know, how could you ask another man for help after calling me? Caroline, are you fooling me?" Wayne's voice made me feel cold.

"What do you suspect?" he urged me.

I looked up at him, "Mr. Wayne, this happened because of you. I hope you can help me. This store is really important to me."

Wayne looked at me dangerously, "Are you imposing conditions on me, or asking for help?"

"It doesn't matter. Whatever you want to call it," This store is the hope of Will and me, I didn't want to ruin it like this. So I said like I had nothing to lose, "Mr. Wayne, I'll tell you the truth. Your fiancée came to me yesterday, and gave me a serious warning. So I suspect that she did it."

Wayne looked at me coldly, "Caroline, I told you that your cleverness will be bad for you sooner or later! I know Doris, she will never do such a frivolous thing. What's your purpose for having dirt on her? Are you expecting that I will do something to her, or you're up to something else?"

I was shocked. I didn't expect him to see through my little trick so easily.

I mentioned Doris on purpose. If I told him that it might be Leopard who did it, he would think that it was me who caused the trouble, and just ignore it. But if it was Doris who did it, he was the one who caused it.

"What? You've nothing to say because I see through your trick?" he said coldly.

I kept my head down and didn't know what to say.

"As I said, you are my woman now. You can tell me everything directly if you want. You don't need to beat around the bush, that will make me feel disgusted," Wayne suddenly slowed down his tone.

I looked up at him in surprise.

"I'll find someone to renovate this store. And I've already warned Leopard, he will not offend you like this blatantly at least during the time we're together."

I looked at Wayne in confusion.

I didn't expect that he knew everything about me. He had already investigated everything before he came here, and then tested me deliberately. I suddenly felt that I was ridiculous, just like a little ant controlled by him.
