Avery
ღ
The first thing that I did when I got home was to google how to know when you're falling in love and trust me that's the wrong thing I could've done. Google doesn't help my situation but makes it worst, the signs that I'm experiencing google said it's the realization of falling in lo...okay that's it enough of this.
My phone started to vibrate which brought me out of my fantasy world. Looking over towards the small desk, it was Noah calling.
Picking up the phone, I answered it. Silence could be heard and I wasn't always the first to speak on the call whoever it may be calling.
"Avery, you there," he finally said after all eternity.
"Yeah, I'm here, whatsup?" I asked
"Didn't you see my message earlier on...," he trailed off.
"Oh, about the party?" I asked again.
"Umm yeah, so what are your thoughts on it," he asked happily.
"I don't know, I'm not the party type of person Noah," I replied.
"I know Avery but I wanted you to come, please," his voice sounded almost...sexy?
What the hell? Oh no, what am I thinking? Crap, yup I'm officially losing it. I need to see a psychiatrist doctor.
"Avery, did you hear what I said?" he questioned.
"Y-yeah, I'll come," I replied impulsively.
"I'll pick you up in 7 send your location," he stated.
Crap! Sending him my location, I got up out of bed feeling quite energized. Winter and Summer still weren't back. Looking through my closet, I'm looking for something casual but kinda...sexy?
With little to no luck, I found a white cream-ish mid-thigh strapless dress. I found a pair of black boots that could go with it and a black sweater to cover my arms that was filled with old self-harm scars.

Taking a nice long shower I used some sweet-pea body wash and shampoo— it was now six-thirty which meant I had half an hour to finish up. I blow-dry my curly hair leaving it in its natural state— I applied some lip gloss and some body mist and I was surprised with myself that I looked... good?
Heading downstairs, quickly toasted some bread and add some butter whilst boiling some chocolate tea, I was starving.
ღ
By the time I was finished it was now 2 minutes to 7 so I went outside to wait. I honestly don't know what Noah will show up in— what should I look out for, a car or...
Noah came out of a car parked along the roadside with a friendly smile until his eyes met mine and he looked at me.
He didn't say a word as he looked me up and down, was my outfit ugly?
"You're not wearing that," he said suddenly.
Huh?
"You don't like it," I managed to say.
Walking over to me in quick steps he held my face in the palm of his hands.
"No you look so beautiful and sexy in that dress Avery, I don't want anyone to be looking at you with lustful eyes," he said calmly.
"H-huh, what are y-you saying i***t," I said feeling so flustered.
What was it with these two boys?
Why do I feel butterflies when talking to them both?
"Haha, I'm just joking princess, let's go," he whispered in my ear.
Pushing him away, I rushed to his car and got in. I don't understand them at all, it's like they have loose screws somewhere in their heads. We arrived at the party and no one seemed to recognize me which I was thankful for.
"Remember what I told you, I'll be right here beside you the entire time, I promise princess," Noah said loudly.
"My name's Avery not princess," I muttered.
The music was loud, the place filled with alcohol and the stench of s*x. Gross!Tugging on his arm, he realized that I wanted to ask him a question.
"You sure it's safe here," I asked for the umpteenth time.
"Yeah, you'll be fine."
We were halfway inside and suddenly I felt nostalgic, being in the crowd wasn't my thing. Noah introduced me to some of his new friends, and they told me their names but honestly, I forgot as soon as they told me because I wasn't interested.
"Avery wait here, I'm going to get some soda for you to drink, and don't take anything from anyone," Noah said sternly.
I shrugged him off not quite hearing what he said over the loud music. No Guidance by Chris Brown started to play and some guy came up to me offering me Fruit Punch saying that it wasn't spiked or anything— I resisted at first but took it eventually.
I took a sip and it tastes a bit weird but maybe it's nothing I drank it quickly. Here I was on my third or fourth cup and Noah still hasn't come. My body found a sudden burst of energy that was new to me. I joined the people dancing as I started to move my body along with the music not giving a care in the world.
Some guy started to grin at me, whispering in my ears how pretty I was but I was too intoxicated to realize that it was wrong.
"Let's go, upstairs baby, let me make it worth your time," as he pulled my arm.
"N-no I'm okay here, I don't want anyone," I slurred but he didn't listen.
"Get the hell away from her you piece of s**t, I'm sure you heard her say no," Noah yelled.
The guy let go of me before facing Noah.
"Go mind your business twig face boy," the stranger said.
Those were the only words that it took Noah to lose his s**t as he went sending a quick slap struck to the guy's face, making him stagger a bit before going back to Noah. I don't know why he continued because he's clearly no match for Noah.
Noah sends the guy flying to the ground constantly hitting him in the face and what scared me the most was the blood that started to coat his fingers and the murderous look on his face.
I screamed at someone to pull them apart but no one would budge, some were drunk and some didn't care that someone was about to die!
I staggered over in Noah's direction trying to pull him off of the guy but he wouldn't budge or it was because I was weak.
Desmond came running and then pulled Noah from the man.
I was shocked and numb as now his hands were bloody and his now white shirt was red. He looked over in my direction and noticed me. My head started to hurt from all this nausea and all this chaos and my vision started to blacken and the place started to spin.
The last thing I remember was falling and Noah's worried face telling me that he was sorry over and over and Desmond had a murderous look in his eyes, yelling to whoever was on the other end of the phone call.
