LONE WOLF (A Story Untold)

Lightning flash, thunder crashed and followed by heavy rain falling. A girl name Serah quickly run as fast as she could, feet touching the wet ground soil as she make her way out of the forest located at the back of their house. She's expecting to reach home no more than fifteen minutes, but surprise to find herself still running for what felt like an hour.The sky has now turned dark preventing her to see clearly. She's starting to feel fear crawling deep within her. She realize she must have taken a wrong turn and run deep in the forest instead where who knows what creature resides in. Yet she keeps on running left and right without much deliberation. Atleast the rain already stop from pouring she thought slightly greatful. However she can't help but to shiver her teeth chattering as the wind blew pass her and her drench clothes clinging to her skin making it two times colder. Another hour has pass she halted her step as her knees is growing tired from walking and running. She can't help the small tear from falling down her eyes and make a small sound as she sob. She shouldn't have gone here in the first place she thought. She should have listen to her parents warning. If she did she wouldn't be in this predicament finally regretting her decision. Am I still going to get home? Will my parents look for me? What if I will never get out of here or a ghost suddenly appear and haunt me. Those thoughts filled her mind. No, I will go home no matter what. I will get out of here. I will still see my family, go to my dream college, have boyfriend, get married and then have kids she encourage herself. With new found confidence and motivation she decided to find some sort of shelter to keep her away from any animals lurking around. I'm not going to die here and be eaten. Minutes later she settle down after finding a large tree hoping to survive this night. A cave would have been better but if she keeps on moving and probably stumble upon a wild animal she knows she's dead as meat. And she will not allow something like that to happen and jeopardize her from reaching her dreams. Upon realizing how she's going to be an easy target for any animal bigger than her, she must do something. She's no match compare to their strength and having no weapon to defend herself really put her to great disadvantage. That's why she make it her mission to find anything that can pose as her weapon first thing in the morning. As the night grew longer Serah is sitting down while leaning on the tree behind her, she's contemplating if it's a good idea to sleep or not. In her mind she should, she needed to gain her strength back and because she's really tired and on the verge of sleeping. On the other hand if she did fall asleep even for a second, it makes her even more vulnerable and defenseless when something attacks her. She tried to keep her eyes open and watch her surroundings. When she felt eyes watching her that made her shiver hair standing up from her skin. Though she can barely see anything as darkness swallow the forest whole. What she can only see are the silhouette of trees, sometimes you can hear a few birds and squirrels or the rustling of leaves. Other than that it's rather quite and eerie. As minutes pass she can no longer fight the urge to sleep. Whether she like it or not her body took control forcing her eyes to slowly drop and her conscious slowly sleeping away. Without even realizing exhaustion took over her as she lay on the ground unmoving. Not far from her sleeping form, a bright yellow eyes showing a dangerous glint stood behind the tall trees. A soft snarl escaping it's mouth, baring it's large sharp teeth ready to pounce at any minute.
