“I refused to talk to him this morning at the office, so what makes you think I want to talk to him now?” Zoe asked Katie, who had made the effort to visit Zoe at her home, probably because she wasn’t answering any of Sam’s calls.

“Explain why he’s selling the one thing that binds this community together?” Zoe asked. “I’m mad at you too, by the way. You must have known.”
