Chapter 14

Burn Me To Hell

People are panicking, running, and screaming. They all run outside the Amusement Park. This is an open Amusement Park but the thing is, it is burning because of a gas. I know what is the difference of burning because it's natural and burning because it is cause by a gasoline. I know everything about fire. And I know that this is planned.

"He really wanted my bussiness to go down!" Eric said. Eric run and help people to get out. People in the rides are screaming and begging for help. I run towards them and I stop the ride using my mind because the generators place is burning. The stuff in Amusement Park help me to get the people out of the rides.

"Jack!" I heard Allyssa's voice. So I turn around. "I found something!" She said. She hold my hand and tries to run. "I don't want people to die. Why don't you care about the fire? Why don't you care about them?!" I ask. She looks at me. "Because the players are still trap to their own reflection Jack!" She answered. "And I found where the place we've been through!" She said.

I heard people screaming from up so I look up. The only rides that there are still people is in the Ferris Wheel.

"We have to help those people Allyssa! I can't let them die!" I said. "They're already dead! Don't change the past Jack! Because we don't know what the future can be!" She said. "I thought this is only a game!" I said. "This game wont change anything! Eventhough this is all just a game, we still have to help them." I continued.

I don't want people to die from the fire, specially if the cause of the fire is from the person who wanted me, my enemy. Who ruined my whole life forever. "Promise, after saving these people, we will save the players." I said. She agree with me so she help me let these people out. When we let the people from the lowest level of the Ferris wheel we look up. "How are we gonna save those people from up?!" Allyssa ask. I look around and saw Eric's coming.

"The firefighters are coming! But we can't let them burn alive!" He said. He run towards a room and left us. Allyssa hold my wrist. "See? The firefighters are coming! So we don't need to help anymore." She said.

I look up and saw lot of people begging for help. I can't. I can't go without helping. "No!" I said. "Jack! Stop it! Why are you keep helping these people! Past is past! We cannot change the time! It will affect our future! Stop!" She scream. I felt the rain dropping on my forehead.

It's now raining.

"Because I'm a good person!" I said. "If you want to prove that you are a good person! Prove it in present! When we finish the game! Because people can't see your good side! They only saw you as a murderer!" She scream.

Murderer? They saw me as a murderer? So my visions are real. That I'm a murderer.

"I am not a murderer! I will never be a murderer! Do you understand that Allyssa?" I ask him in a high tone because of madness. Why they keep calling me a murderer?! I start crying now. I felt bad person. I want to go back to the time after my birthday. I want to go back when I still have a memory, so I can make things right!

"You really don't remember? Why? Why you can't remember what happened to you last year!" She said. The fire is starting to fade away. "Answer me. Why you don't want us to help?" I ask her. "Because you think i am not that kind of person who help? Why? Because you think I'm a murderer?" I added. "No. Because it's for the best." She said and turn around.

She walk and left me standing in front of the Ferris Wheel. She trun around. "What? Are you gonna stand there? The players are gonna die! And if they did, your gonna be a real murderer!" She shout because she's now too far from me. When she said players I remember Charles. He knows about me! I need to know what happened to me, and the only person who can help me is Charles. Because he is with me, both of us are in the same situation.

I run and followed her. There are still fire everywhere. But I don't care now. She open a room where there's a mirror everywhere. We went in and saw lot of reflections. But not our reflection, it is the reflection of the player.

There just standing and not moving. I don't know where they are but there's just one thing I know, they're trap at they're own self.

"How can we help them?" I ask Allyssa. "I don't know. We can't let them stuck on their own reflection. You are the only one who has a power here so you decide." She said.

Yes, I'm not gonna forget that I have power. I look down and think of what I can do to free them. Until there is one word I can only imagine when it comes on mirror and reflection.

Break, Shattered. I tried to use my head to break those mirror, but it's hard on focusing..

I look to Allyssa who is looking to me.

"Make me mad." I said in my serious tone. "What?" She asked. "Tell something bad about me! Just make me mad Allyssa!" I shout at her that make her walk away from me, she was scared and I don't know why.

She took a deep breath and she open her mouth.

"You're a murderer." She said and walk towards me. "No one love you except for your fake friends. You have no parents, and you will never found one. Your power is the one who will cause a war in the future! You are the reason why lot of things changed! Because of your power! Charles is just trying to fit himself to you because he saw that your alone everyday and everynight! Daniel hate you because you're a selfish one! And Cameron? He only help you because he f*****g love you! And because of that love! Like your friend gave to you, you become a murderer. You become a f*****g murderer! And you know why I can't love you back? Because. You are a murderer!" She shout and she stop walking at my front.

My heartbeat pump faster and faster like something isn't right.

Everything she said isn't real but why I felt it through my bones? Why? And the only thing that really hurt me is the phrases of 'she can't love me back because I'm a murderer.' does that mean she love me?

I'm stoping myself to hurt her because I know I'm developing a  love to  her. I'm stoping myself to hurt people because I know I can still control it, and I don't remember killing someone that's why I can't be a murderer.....

Unless if I did something really terrible last year....

"That's not the truth!" I shout and stamp my foot on the floor and put my both arms on my side. We heard a loud thunder outside and after that a white thing released through my body. I don't know what the white thing called but I saw it, it's like a sharp invisible air but I can't explain it. After a second we heard a c***k noise, a shattered noise from these mirrors.

We saw lot of mirrors piece flying everywhere. I cover myself and kneel down. When everything is quiet again, I look up and saw them, the players standing in a distance. Pieces of mirrors are on the ground.

Breathe.

I told to myself because I can't breath, it's hard to breath again. I felt Allyssa's presence at my side and she touch my shoulder. I look to her and she was looking at me with her worry face. I shove her hands. I stood up and look to her.

"Why are you mad?" She ask. "Because you make me mad Allyssa!" I shout at her. "Because you made me do it!" She shout back to me and pointing out herself. "I was expecting a lie on your mouth Allyssa! I didn't ask for real stuff!" I answered her.

She frowned in anger.

"What is wrong with you Jack?!" She start being mad now. "Because I can't stop loving you from the first place and this is how you repay me? Did you know that I can sense if people are lying or what? I just want you to make me mad!" I said. Her frown face fades and changed it into shockness. "And did you know what is wrong with me? I can't remember any sigle detail you just said! I don't remember why people are keep calling me a murderer! I don't remember any single detail about my past! I don't know who my parent was! And I don't f*****g want this f*****g power Allyssa! So it is not my fault to open the door without using a key! So there is no rights to tell me that I'm a selfish one! Because I am tired of people lying to my face!" I shout at her and to everyone else.

Everyone is looking at us, specially at me.

We felt the ground shaking and it stop when I stop shouting in madness.

"Can we cut the drama now?" I heard someone said and I look at him, Daniel. He walk towards me and whisper. " Then die if you're tired, we don't care."

I want to be mad again because of what he whispered, but someone touches me, so I ook at him. "Don't." Cameron said. Daniel open the door where we came from. When he open it the place outside is now different.

Full of trees, a forest one.

The surroundings inside change too, from blank black surface with pieces of mirrors on the ground, into a bamboo house.

Okay, I'm going to admit but it's cool.

I saw Charles and Nadia walking towards us. "Can we go out?" I whisper to Cameron. He agreed and we went out the bamboo house. Where are we now?

"We have to go now." Daniel said. "Are you guys don't want to rest? You guys are stuck inside of a reflection?" I ask them. "He has a point. I'm a bit tired too." Charles agree to me and the other players.

Daniel turn around and face us. "Then what? We don't know what is waiting for us in here." He said. "Then go by yourself, isn't it what you want? To win this game by yourself? Then go and win this first. We don't want people who doesn't care about the others." I said. "You know what Jack? f**k you!" He curse me. I smiled at him. "Yeah? Well thank you!" I said. If someone curses you, thank them.

Now what?
