Chapter 8

Do i look like a Prince?

I open my eyes and the first thing I saw is a blue calm sky. I felt dizzy so I can't move that much. I look around and I found my self laying on the ground. I remember passing out because I'm so hungry and tired.

"Are you fine now?" I look to the person who talk and saw Allyssa. She gave me a cup of water so I drink it. Allyssa and Cameron are the only person I know here, the others, I don't. "Where are the others?" I ask Allyssa. "They're finding the crown. What happened to your arm by the way?" She ask. I look to my arm and it's still tied up using a piece of cloth from Cameron's shirt.   "It was nothing. I was shot by someone but it's not that dangerous." I answer. "Someone's trying to kill you, isn't it?" She ask and she sat down by my side. "What? I don't think so. Maybe if he's trying to kill someone, it's not me." I said. It's ridiculous, but if she's right that someone is trying to kill me, then why and who?

I stand and walk towards the balcony to smell some fresh air, even there's nothing fresh in here. "I'm so glad that we warned you before eating a poison food, but Cameron, it's too late, he already when we told you." She said while walking towards me. I look to her shock.

"What? Cameron was poisoned?" I said in shock."Don't worry he's not dead. We are so glad that he survived the poison, but still confuse on how did that happened. Everyone who ate the food died except for him." Allyssa explain. I walk towards Cameron's sleeping body. Thank god he's alive. He save my life! If he didn't come back for me, I might be dead right now.

"He is a really good person Jack." Allyssa said. I look to her and smile. "Yeah, Cameron saved my life earlier." I said. "No it's not Cameron. Daniel." She said.

Okay? And how does she knew it?

"Daniel is my boyfriend 2 years ago before his parents got murdered. We don't have a clue who murdered his parent and that's the reason why he broke up with me." She explained.

Oh, that's why Daniel want to win the game, for him to know who murdered his parents. We all have a reason to win the game. Maybe if I knew everyone story I might understand why we are the chosen one to play the game, why we are all special

"He broke up with me months after his parent died. I don't know if it was all coincidence but after he broke up with me...." She stopped talking and she start sobbing. "What happened?" I ask in curiosity. "When I got home, i found my parent's lying down. Dead. The murderer is still on the house that time. I thought there going to kill me but..... They r***d me." She exclaim. "After r****g me the three man run and leave me crying and paralyzed. I know that, those men who murdered my parents and r***d me is a person who knows me and has a same age as me.. " She continued.

I walk towards her and say sorry about what I heard. I comfort her then she hug me. This is weird. Strangers don't hug me. Im not used to it.

"Now what? Your lover?" She released her self from me when we both heard a voice at our side. We saw Daniel standing and holding a crown covered in blood. "We're not." I said in confident voice  "I don't care if you two hug or kiss each other, I just don't care." He said.

He walks towards the door and try to open it but it's lock.

"Oh s**t! Now what? No key?" He said. "Where did you get the crown?" Allyssa ask. "One monster wearing it but we found it dead. Thanks to the telekinesis boy here. Now what? You're a savior?" Daniel said. "What is your problem? I didn't do anything to you!" I said and walk towards him. "You're asking me? You know why I hate you, you act like you know everything! Like you are our savior! Look? Those two task you are the person who knows where are pur exit! You even killed all the monster with your freaking mind?!" He shout at my face.

We didn't realize that all of the players are now at the tower and watching us.

"Woah, you're jealous... I don't know everything! I'm just a good observer! Why? You want that you are the one who always find the key? The door? And killed all the monster? And why again? Because you are a dumbass selfish player!" I shout at him back. He act like his gonna punch me again but he didn't do it. "Why didn't you continue?" I ask him. "I don't wanna f*****g hurt you!" He said. He turn around and walk towards the door. " Does anyone find a key?" He ask. "There's only a one key here. The key that opens the tower." One player said. "And where is it?" He ask again. A player walk towards him and gave him the key. Daniel put the key in a hole and it open.

I just took a deep breath and walk towards Cameron. He is still unconscious.

"You coming Jack?" Allyssa ask me. " Im gonna wait till Cameron woke up." I answer. "Okay, just becareful." She said and walk inside the door. All the players walk inside the door after Daniel opened it. Daniel is an immature peron I've ever met. I don't know if he's selfish or an immature.

"Don't mind him Jack." Charles said when he walk towards me. " What are you still doing here?" I ask. "I'll wait."  He said and sat down on the ground facing Cameron. "Is your feet alright?" I ask. "Yeah a little bit. What happened to your arms?" He ask. I sat down besides him. "I got shot." I simply explain. "The gun shot we heard earlier? The reason why all the monster woke up?" He ask. "Yeah."

Im really hungry and tired. I want to rest. I lay my head on Charles shoulder. "I am not gay, im just really tired. Is it okay?" I ask Charles. "It's fine, take a rest. I'll wake you up when Cameron is awake." Charles said. I close my eyes and tried to sleep....

"Jack, I'm sorry. I really do. Please forgive me." I open my eyes and saw Maxine. What the hell is she doing here? "Im not gonna forgive you on what you did to me! Because of you! I lost everything! Because of you people think I'm a murderer!" I look to my left and i saw my self standing while crying in madness.

My surrounding is just an empty black.

"I did that because they will kill me! I hope you understand!!" Maxine explain. "But because of you! I kill you!"

"Jack!" I opened my eyes again while running for my breath. Im sweating like hell. It's already dark. I look around and Charles and Cameron is looking at me. Cameron is now awake.  "Are you alright?" Charles ask me. "You look hell." Cameron added. "Did I killed someone?" I ask in nowhere. Charles and Cameron look each other. "Wh--"  "The monster. You killed the monster. Why?" Cameron didn't finish when Charles answered my question. "I dreamed about Maxine, she's asking for my forgiveness and i said that because of her people think I'm a murderer." I explain.

" You're not a murderer." Charles said. He stand up and help me to stand too. "Come on, I hope their still food's left." Charles said. We walk towards the door and open it, we went inside and we heard a loud noise.

We open another door and we all went inside a dressing room.

"We need to change. This is a kingdom party. We can't look like hell." Cameron said. We pick a dress and change. "You look like a prince Jack." They both said. " Thanks?" I answer in confuse. We open the door and we saw a lot of people.

"We need to find them." Charles said. We walk towards these people and we just smiled to them who bowed at us "The prince is here!" Someone shouted. We stop walking and look around. Someone approach us and bow to us. "Prince your late." The man said. "Uhm." Before I say anything, the man look to Charles and Cameron. "You brought friends." He said. "Prince Eric, the king is waiting." The man added. "Follow me Prince Eric." The man said and lead the way.

"Prince Eric? So you're a Prince?" Cameron ask. "I don't know." I answered. "Excuse me Prince Eric but your friends can't be inside." The man said. "Okay Mr..."  "Just call me Mr.George." The man said. "Okay Mr. George. Im just going to talk to my Friends before they left. " I said and face them. "Find them and the crown!" I continued.

The man or George open the door and I saw the King sitting with his Crown.

"Your majesty, the prince is here." George said. The king turn around and look at me. "Eric, where is your crown?" The king ask. The king's voice is deeper than mine and he has a British accent. "I don't know father, I lost it." I said. "Are you insane Eric? That crown is very special to our kingdom, specially to you! Where did you put it?" He ask. "I put it in the dressing room and after being dressed up, it was gone." I lied.

I thought that they will bring the crown here? What is happening to them? Where are they?

"We don't have much time, Princess Cassandra is waiting for you. George!" He called George name. "Find the crown!" The king command. "Forgive me Father." I apologize and bow down. "It's alright son, the important is you're still alive and King Balbusca is now rotten in jail." He said. "Excuse me?" I said. "I'm really sorry if the father of the princess you married is at jail. If he didn't tried to steal the crown from you he still celebrating with us." The king said. "And why your smell like a rough rock?" The king ask. "Uhm. It's from my dress father." I answered. I look ridiculous here! I don't know what I'm doing.

The king smiled. "Are you ready?" He ask me and I smiled back. Why did King Balbusca tried to get the crown? What if? " Good evening people of Zenthopia. The await is over. Please welcome Prince Eric." The king introduce me and they clap. I walk slowly towards the Kings side. "And please welcome to the other side, the Princess that Prince Eric married, Princess Cassandra." The king continued and they clap again. The Princess walk out the blinds. She wears a red ball gown and im wearing a beige one. "Let the party begin."  Princess Cassandra walk down on the stairs so did I. We met at the center of the dance floor. She push my nape to her and kiss me. I was shock. Well I just go with the flow. She's really pretty and nice, her beauty is extraordinary.

" I want us to be special after the party Eric." She said and touch my chess. I smiled. "Are you alright Eric? And why do you smell like a rotten tree?" She ask. " I climbed a tree to pick a beautiful flower that suits you tonight." I lied again. She laugh in a low voice and smiled. "Your cute Prince Eric." She said. "Top or bottom?" I ask, i don't know why I ask that. Im stupid! I look around maybe I can find someone or one of the players. "What do you mean top or bottom?" She ask. "I mean, you look really hot, from top to bottom." I said. "Your so sweet." She said and kiss me again. "Im really glad you make it." She said. "Why i wouldn't make it?" I ask. "My father said that you're not gonna come." She said and bow down. "But.. your father is in Jail, isn't it?" I ask her. "I visited him yesterday." She said.

Suddenly she look to my face with a confuse enotion. After a second she push me away. " You're not Prince Eric. Eric has a mole in his lower lips and his eyes is green not a hazel one." She said. "It's me Cassandra, Eric." I said and approach her but she walk backwards. "Is that a blood?" She ask and wipe the blood from my neck. "What did you do? Where is Eric! Where is my husband!" She said and run. "Cassandra!" I shout her name and run to follow her.

Someone pulled my arm and when I turned around it's a big man with a white hair. "It's impossible! I am sure that I lock you up in the basement of this kingdom!" He said. "So you are the king? You lock the prince from this kingdom? You know that's a stupid idea right? This is their kingdom! Is that the reason why he's not here?" I ask and released myself from him. "So you are not the prince? Then who are you?" He said.

I look around and the people are looking at the scene in here, I saw the king looking at our direction. "Where is the crown?" I ask. "You will never find it! You are copying the Prince identity for what? To get me and ask where the crown is?" He said and laugh. "You must be in jail!" I shout and push King Balbusca that make him fall on the ground.

"You're supposed to be in Jail Balbusca!" The king approach us. "How did you get out? Why are you here?" The king said. "You can't put me in jail again because if you do, you cant get the crown back!" King Balbusca blackmail the king. "Muderer!" Princess Cassandra shout and I was shock when she beat me using a food tray. "He  is not your son King Zean! He is stealing your son's identity." King Balbusca said.

"What?" The king said in shock and look at me. "You look like my son!" The king said. "Balbusca is running!" The people shout. "Get him! And make sure he will pay for his sins!" The king said. I face the king.  "Yes I am not your son!" I confess. I was shock when Cassandra ripped off the dress I am wearing. It revealed my white shirt with lot of blood stains on it.

All of them was shock.

"You killed my son?" The king said and slap me. "I didn't kill your son! This is not your son's blood! You won't understand!" I tried to explain but it's too late.. "Arrest him!" The king point out his finger to me. The guards hold both of my arms.

"Murderer!"

"Murderer!"

"Murderer!"

People are shouting the word murderer.

"No! I didn't murder Prince Eric! He was locked up in the basement by King Balbusca!" I explain.

Until my surroundings change.

"Murderer! Murderer! Murderer!" People are protesting. This isn't the kingdom! This is Wahington! "Kill him!! Burn him to hell!" People are still protesting. What is happening?

I saw myself again but this time on a tarpaulin. I look up and I saw a big screen with my pictures in it with a sentence on the side.

"A teenager who has a telekinesis power killed hundreds of people at the park."

What the hell?
