Chapter 11

I have myself

"There are weapons in every single room here." Prince Eric said while pointing out the rooms in the hallway. "Get anything you want to end this battle." He added. The players starts to get their weapon that they wanted.

This is it, the war is starting.

"I am sorry about my dad, because of him your kingdom is now at the risk..." Princess Cassandra apologize ang hug Prince Eric. "And I am sorry about the king." She continued. "Promise me you stay inside. I don't want you to get hurt." Prince Eric said and kiss Princess Cassandra on her forehead.

Cassandra walk inside the room and smiled. "No matter what happens, you will be the only man I love, I'm really sorry." Princess Cassandra said before she locked her self up inside a room.

"How about the King?" I ask him. He look at me. "What about him? His dead." He seriously said and walk towards the room to get a gun. "You don't care about him? You doesn't care about the the dead king?" I ask him again and this time he look to me with his serious face.

"What do you want? He is dead! I care for him but not now. I have a kingdom to save." He said before he walk pass me. I turn around to face him. "That's it? You want to be king aren't you? That's why you don't care about your dad! You don't care about the king!"

"He is the reason why the killer of my mom is still out there! He didn't do anything at all! He just cried at the queens funeral but he did nothing for justice! Now? Look! He let Balbusca get away earlier! Now what? He ended up dead! That's why I don't care! And you will never understand because you don't know me and I don't know you,we don't know each other!" Prince Eric shout at my face. "You're right, I don't know everything." I said and just look down. "Get yourself a weapon and let kill this monster!" Prince Eric said. "I don't need anything, I have myself."

"I have myself." I said while looking at King Balbusca's eyes while holding Princess Cassandra. Balbusca laugh non-stop. "What yourself can do to defeat this gun? To defeat me?" The King ask while walking towards me. "You don't know what I have, because you don't know about me." I said.

We heard lot of gun shots and a scream outside of this Castle. Because the war isn't over.

"Jack! Why are you doing this?!" We all look up at the stairs when Prince Eric shout. Cameron is holding Prince Eric's arm and his other hand is pointing a gun to his head.

"Eric!" Cassandra starts to fight back to free herself but she can't because I'm more stronger than her. "Why are you doing this! I thought you are my friend!" Prince Eric shout while trying to release himself to Cameron. "Oh so you're a bad guy too. I told you Eric, you can't trust people who jas a same face as you" King Balbusca said. "Give him the crown!" Cameron said. "I'm not giving anything to anyone!" Eric said. "Okay fine!" Cameron said and he punch Eric's face using a gun and Eric fall to the stairs that make him drop the crown.

Cameron walk down and get the crown and give to me.

"So we have the same intentions. We both want the crown. Why? Is there something inside the door that will help you?" He said and he laugh, even I don't understand what is he talking about, I just laugh. "I don't want the crown. I want this kingdom." I said and smiled. "Do you think you can get the kingdom by portraying Eric? Prince Eric?" He said. Now i laugh. "You think that I am Prince Eric yesterday right? See? My face can use to manipulate all the people in this Kingdom! Like how I manipulate you amd the king." I said sarcastically.

I wear the crown and I smiled to him.

"No one can take the Crown from me. No one." I said and smiled. "Oh let's see about that." He said and he tries to shot me but he is not successful on doing that. Everything goes in slowmotion, I can see the bullet flying towards me. Before it hit my head the bullet fall down and everything goes back to normal.

"What just happened?" Balbusca said in shockness. I smirk. "Why you can't just kill me? What if I kill your daughter?" I said. "Don't! Don't touch my daughter you..." He said but he can't tell my name. "Oh, I guess you don't know what my name is." I said.

"You s**t!" Balbusca shout and click the gun repeatedly until the the gun is bullet free. But every single bullet falls down and I can see his irritated face. "Boom." I said and after that his head explode.

The blood splattered everywhere.

"What the hell! What just happened?!" I look to Eric. "Why? I thought we're gonna kill him?" I said. "Yes.But I didn't shoot him." He said.

Oh s**t.

Did I just use my power again? But this time, without knowing it?

"I shot him. I'm sorry. Did I ruined your plan?" We all look at the front door and we saw Daniel holding a shotgun. "All of his guards or whatever you call it, is dead. This war is over. By the way, I love using this shotgun." Daniel said while walking towards me. He stop at my front and whispered on my ear. "You're in deep s**t. I told you to protect the Prince. I didn't tell you to make a plan defeating that man." Daniel said. I can feel his breath on my earand nape, because of his closeness. Suddenly he laugh like a devil, he drop the gun and leave me.

What does he want?

"Im sorry about your dad." I said to Cassandra, she is now crying. "If this is for good. Then it's okay." She said. Prince Eric approach her and they hug each other. I look to Cameron. "Find the key now, I am going to follow someone." I told him. So I did follow Daniel.

Something is really off to Daniel, and I don't like that stuff. He walk down the basement. I stop at the middle of the stairs when I heard someone talking.

"What happened out there? Until now he is still alive!"

"I told you to kill him!"

"I can't! Did you see out there. There is no place to hide! Why don't you do it by yourself?!"

"Because it's your job isn't it? You came here accidentally so it's your job to end his life!"

"Then why are you helping? Why are you telling me the things on how to kill him!"

"I just want to help! I want him dead that's all."

"Why is that?"

"It's none of your business. Question is back to you, why do you want him dead."

"It's not your business too."

I walk backwards on the stairs without making any noise.

So... He want me dead? Or im just hallucinating or assuming that I am the person that they we're talking about?

"Where'd you go?" Prince Eric ask me. "By the way thank you for your help." Eric added and smiled. "Now what are we going to do now?" He ask me. "Leave. We are leaving, but first we need to find the key inside of those dead bodies." I said.

We start finding the key, I know the key is in someone's body who is important in this kingdom. By the way, everything that had happened earlier is my plan. We have to fooled Balbusca so we can defeat him.

"What do you mean escape? And key in the body?" Princess Cassandra ask. I look to Eric and ask. "Did you know someone who can have the key?" I ask him. "I don't know." He answered. "Can you give me the crown now?" Eric ask.

I unwear the crown on my head but it slice my finger so I accidentally drop the crown and it fall to the ground. We we're shock when it broke into pieces.

I didn't mean to break it. It slice my little finger and everything goes fast.

"What the hell was that?" Eric said and he bent down to get something that he saw. "Is this a key?" Eric said while holding a key that came from the Crown. Wait... Now I understand why King Balbusca wants the crown. I remember him saying 'inside the door to help me.' is that what he talking about? "Maybe Balbusca doesn't want the crown. Maybe he want the key in the crown?" I ask myself and Eric. I look to Prince Eric's eye. "Then what door is this key can open?" He ask. What is so important on that key? What is so important behind the door thatmake King Balbusca killed and start a war?

Is the announcer of the next challenge is wrong? That we will find the key inside of the dead body? Because we found a key, but not inside of the dead boy, we found it inside the crown. Don't tell me that the crown is made by a dead body.

"Where does it fit?" I ask him. I saw the players are coming to us and I am sad because we're more than 50. All of them are covered in blood. I saw Nadia and Charles holding each others hand. While Allyssa is with Daniel. Is Allyssa the one who wants me dead? "Negative. There is no key." Cameron said and he look to the key that Eric is holding. "Yeah you find it." He said.

"Can I?" I ask him, but he just look to me. "Do you think I'm gonna let you escape? All of you?" He said. "There is nothing to go back Eric. Everything is gone. Even the kingdom." I said. He look back and he look to me again. He took a deep breath.

"Im not giving it to you. Im coming, no we are coming where ever you go." The Prince said. "Of course." I said.

Is this the reason why we can't open the door without the Prince because he is not letting us? Or he is really coming with us? But why?

"No." Prince Eric said when he enter the key to a door but it doesn't open. We are just following him. "Can you stop trying? Can you think better than that? Can you open the door that isn't obvious? A secret door? Or maybe a hidden door." Daniel said and stop Eric. "Why do you think Balbusca want a door that is really obvious that he can open with his one f*****g kick?" Daniel added.

"Don't you talk to your Prince like that!" Prince Eric said. "Their is no kingdom anymore! There is no place that you can lead us! Alright? Your age is same us ours! There is nothing left to you except us and your wife! For god sake! So does that mean that you have no place to be a Prince if your coming with us." Daniel answer.

Daniel tries to get the key from Prince Eric but Eric is alert so he put the key to his pocket. "You have no rights to get this key from me. This key is mine not yours, you have no place in this kingdom!" Prince Eric said. "There is one door that the king doesn't want me to open." He said and walk down the stairs so we followed him again.

Daniel has a point, but why does he talk to him like that? Does he know what a manners mean?

We went to the Basement where I heard Daniel and someone is talking to each other. He turn on the lights. This basement is actually good looking. Because everytime I saw a basement it's like I was inside of a horror movie becausen of it's creepiness, but this Castle basement is heaven.

He walk towards a wall and push it.

"Holy s**t, that was cool." I heard one of the player said, after Prince Eric push the wall it slides to the left and theres a hallway inside but it's not that long.

"This is the door I was talking about." He said. "I hope this is the right key." He added. After a second it opened. It's full of darkness so he get a flashlight and turn it on.

"What the." We are all shock when there's a coffin inside. Prince Eric went inside and find a switch to open the lights. When the lights opened we saw what inside the room.

"Where is the magical place? The next challenge?" Cameron whispered. To be honest, I don't know. "Mom?" We all look to Prince Eric when he walk towards the coffin. The coffin is surrounded by purple flower and at the top of the coffin there is a crown laying in there.

At the walls there is a big picture, the picture of the queen. If I'm not mistake , she looks familiar. I think I saw her somewhere, i swear to god.

There is a door facing the Coffin and the picture. I walk towards the door and touch it. Even the feeling is familiar. "What if the key to open this door is inside the Queen's body?" I said. "What?" I heard Princess Eric said. I walk towards the Coffin and look to Eric.

"If you want to escape, you have to believe us." I said. "Fine I trust you. But please becareful." He said. " I promise."

I get the crown and gave it to Prince Eric. I slowly open the coffin until it opened wide. "She looks pretty in real life."

"Who is she"

"That's your grandmother"

"She's Pretty"

"I know"

I start hearing voices like an echo. It just repeating over and over again. I touch my ear to stop hearing those whispers. " Are you alright?" Prince Eric ask.

Daniel walk towards the Coffin.

"Im fine." I said. Until the whispering fading away. "I got the key." We all look to Daniel while holding a Key. I think this is it. This is the key that announcer are talking about. "Why does dad keep my mom's body here?" Prince Eric ask.

Daniel walk towards the door and open it. After opening the door there was a white light inside the door. It really hurt my eye so I close it. Until those light are fading, I open my eyes. I was shock when I saw my reflection in the mirror.

"What the hell?" I said. I look around and I'm just seeing my reflection. My surroundings is just a mirror. Im just seeing my reflection standing in the middle of the dark. Everything I saw is just my reflection nothing else, nothing more. So what does the next challenge is? And I wonder where are the others.
