The Unexpected

Chapter 3

 Ding Dong!

"I'll get that!" I yelled out, running down the stairs to open the door before my brothers do.

"Who is it?" asked Joshua. 

"Who else would it be on a school night, Joshie?" said Jason. 

Joshua gave a death glare at Jason.

"Joshua, he's only playing 'round," placing my hands on his chest and pushing him back.

Boys will be boys. That's the saying, isn't it? Well, that's my gay best friend for ya. Always goofing 'round.

"Let me guess, you invited all your goodie friends to come over and party?" asked Maison.

"Yes ..." 

"Actually, I decided to have a more chill afternoon and invited my circle only to watch movies. Zoey and whoever else will be staying over for the night." I interrupted Jason. I don't want my brothers getting the wrong idea now, do I?

"Urgh, finally. What took you so long?" asked Zoey, when we went back into my room.

"Her brothers."

"My brothers," we said.

"Well, while we wait we can set up the room and start watching TVD (The Vampire Diaries)," said Zoey, sitting on my bed.

"f**k yes. We need to finish off Season 3 together," said Jason, who by the way loves TVD. He's the one who wanted to watch it, well Zoey too,  but mainly Jason. It's so good. I love it. We're on Season 3 Episode 16: 1912. Of course, me being me, I am rooting for Dalena. I mean come on Ian Somerhalder is hot, but Nina and Ian together are so cute together. I want them to be together in real life, but Ian is married to someone else. Well, that's his choice. It's sad, but what can you do. 

"Oi, you still obsessed with One Direction?" asked Jason.

"Ummm, I wouldn't say obsessed. I would call it a very keen likeness of them. I mean who wouldn't love them." I replied back. I mean come on. What type of question was that? He knew I love One Direction, if my room didn't give it away, my taste in music and my every talk would give it away. 

"Okay, everyone's finally here," said Jason. "Now, let's play Truth or Dare."

"OMG. No." I said back. "I can't be stuffed."

"Then, you can do truth if you don't want to do the dares."

We were currently sitting 'round in a circle in the games room. My games room. Let's just say my parents are super-rich. We live on a massive land and have security guards out in front of the street, so only invites or people who live on the street can enter the street. Our street id full of richies and our street is secluded.

"Okay, fine. But I'm going first." I said, Jason passing the spinning bottle, we bought last year for things like this. 

I spun the bottle. It landed on Jace, of all people. Okay, so what should I chose. Zoey keeps on glancing at me. I know what she wants. She wants me to dare him to make out with her. She told Jason and me to before everyone arrived. 

"Okay, um I chose dare," said Jace. Oh my, I wish I didn't have to but here goes nothing.

"Okay, well I dare you to kiss Zoey on the lips. Like a make-out sesh," I gestured at Zoey, winking at her.

Zoey mouthed Thank you. I mean what could go wrong.

Next thing I knew, was Jace scooting over to Zoey before I blacked out.

Beep beep beep. Beep beep beep.

Omg. What is that sound? Make it stop. Where am I? Gosh, I'm so tired. 

I fell back into the darkness after that.

....

"Come on, Lils. Wake up."

"Lils, you better wake up."

....

Urgh. I feel so tired. It's so hard to open my eyes, but I did it anyway.

I looked around. I was in a white hospital gown and I was injected with different sorts of needles. Ewww. I hate needles. They creep me out. I was guessing that I was in a hospital room. My brothers were sitting on the chairs near the room. Both of them sleeping.

I wondered what happened. The door creaked open. My guess is he was a doctor.  I have no idea what's going on. What happened to me? Damn, was I thirsty.  

"Hello there. How are you feeling?" whispered the doctor (I think), making sure not to wake my brothers.

I tried to answer, but my throat just closed off. I reached out to touch my throat. 

"Oh, thirsty? Here drink some water," giving me a cup of water from a table in the corner. 

"What happened?" I asked when I finished all the water.

"Well, you fainted from what I can tell. We're still running tests. My guess is lack of sleep and dehydration."

"Wait, I fainted?" but I never faint. Like NEVER.

"Um, yes you did. Have you been feeling anything for the past few days? Like any dizziness or light-headed?" 

Well, now that I think about it I have been tired lately. I just feel this strange exhausting feeling every day. I thought it was me not getting enough sleep, but if I fainted something is wrong, right? Oh, man. It's only the first day of school though. I'm gonna miss so much, now. Not that I care, but I'm in Year 10 now, meaning I'll have to start taking my school a bit more seriously. And like actually do my work in class and like do my homework. Damn, why is life so hard? 

"Um, yeah. I have. I've been really tired lately. I've also felt like sleeping, like every single second." 

"Well, we'll keep doing test and we can see for sure what's wrong. You will most likely stay the night, again." The doctor leaving the room, leaving me to my thoughts once again. 

Wait, a minute. Stay the night again. How long have I been here? Shouldn't my brothers be at school then? OMG, what actually happened. Damn, do these boys ever wake up. 

What's wrong with me? Why have I been here for so long?

Hey, I left a cliffhanger. Sorry, not sorry. Well, I hope you like you so far. Probably s**t, but it was worth a try. 

The backstory for people, Lilia fainted at the little after school gathering. She has been in hospital since and you will find out everything in the next chapter. Hopefully.
