Jacob     They kept Bri in the hospital until midday the next day, and then Jacob was allowed to take her home. Home. It felt so empty now. Home, where he had planned on painting the nursery. Home, where he imagined playing with a brown-haired, brown-eyed toddler on the rug in front of the TV. Now, the word felt so empty.
