Eric P.O.V
“We need to go for a run. I can’t be lying here with her just behind that door and not be able to touch her.” “I know the feeling bud, let’s go.” We slipped out as everybody was still asleep and Phantom really place all his emotions into the run as I was even struggling to understand where we were going. Soon we halted at what looked like one of the biggest trees in the world. He climbed until we were at the very top of the tree. “Wow...” “You could say that again.” We could see the entire estate from up here and it was marvellous.
“How long do you think we will have to wait for her?” “I don’t know Phantom, but we can’t be pushy right now. She has a lot going on, fiscally and emotionally.” “Ya, I hear you, but this close contact and not being able to make her ours is getting very - very hard.” “I know. We need to keep in mind that she isn’t our fated mate and if anything develops and she allows us to mark her... We can never accept our fated.” “I know, Eric, but these days, finding your fated is as unique as can be. And no offence, but I think the feeling we get when she is nearby is basically the same as being with your fated mate. I get butterflies in my stomach when I just think of her.” “Ya, that I know... same body, i***t… I’m just saying we need to be a hundred percent sure. We both saw the mark on her ant’s neck, which she was trying to hide, and her mate died and the mark was still there. Before we saw that, I never knew that Hunter could be fated to people like us. We do not know the ramifications it could have, as we are not fated to her.” “Nothing will go wrong, you baby. If it was not meant to be, we would never have felt this way. I mean, we have met many of the beautiful women before and never felt so good when we were in there pre-cense.” “I hope you are right. I won’t be able to live with myself if anything happens to her.” There was a long silence between us after that and I just zoned out, listing to animals of the night singing their songs. This place was truly extraordinary.
“Eric...” “Hmm…” “You know wants coming, right?” For a moment, I was confused, then it hit me. He was talking about the dream. “Eric, I know I agree with you that it will never happen, but this Robin, she certainly got me worried. Elizabeth is also suspicious of her, but she looks to be a master at manipulation.” “You and me both Phantom. All that we can do is to be there and help Elizabeth. If she allows us, we need to strengthen our bond. Even if we don’t mark her, just making love with her will strengthen the bond and then at least we can feel some of her emotions.” “Hopefully, after the rite of passage thing she will be more open to us, because after that you know what will happen...” “She will go after her uncle...” “Yup...” “What is up with the Butler thou?” “You mean the laying about his age thing. I wonder if he even realized that he made a mistake in telling us the story of the first black Witch.” “I don’t know, but Prue was defiantly not happy.” “No she was not.” “Lets get some rest now.” “Goodnight Eric.” “Goodnight Phantom.”
“s**t Erick!!! Elizabeth...”
Elizabeth P.O.V
I jerked awake, all my senses going haywire. What the hell, where am I? The ground was hard and wet and it was dark all over. What the hell is happening here? I could have sworn I was in a nice, warm bed without Prue. She decided to sleep in her own suite. Not sure why, she looked kind of upset. Focus Elizabeth, focus. As my eyes adapted to the darkness, I could make out some of the outlines of the room I was in. Crap, it’s... it’s a dungeon, but why…, how…? Was I just dreaming about everything that happened... Did that last guy I was after catch me? What the hell is happening? “Elizabeth, focus, look closer. Find your way...” “Who... who is that?” “Concentrate, Love, don’t let your emotions run wild.” “Orin... is it you?” No response came, only silence. Okay, Elizabeth, focus, look for a way out. I started touching the walls and the surrounding bars, trying to feel if anything was loose, I couldn’t find any fault. For crying out loud, I should be able to break something. I went over to the bars again, tugging on them. This is pure silver. They made these to keep creatures in. Ha… That was a mistake. I’m not a creature. I started to rock my body as I was holding on to one of the bars, working to loosen it up, and to my satisfaction it worked and in minutes it was out, and so was I.
As I wandered the dark passageway, I felt this hatred and anger swelling within me, seeking to take over my mind. There is something here, something dangerous. Suddenly, I saw some light on my right and stepped towards it. There I found someone in the corner, and everything in me said to kill it, but it was not attacking me or trying to hurt me. Why would I want to kill it? The darkness continued pushing through my mind, trying to get me to give in to the Hunters’ only flaw. Then I heard crying and as I came near the dark corner, I saw a small child, a girl. She looked like she was only seven years old. She looked at me with those big blue eyes and I knew I cannot kill her. It would be brutal, and that is not me. She got up on her feet and asked me to help her, but as she came closer, I could feel the darkness. “No!!! Stay back please, I don’t want to hurt you.” “Please help me. I don’t know where my mommy and daddy are or who that mean man was that took me. Please help me.” She broke down crying as she fell to her knees. My heart is breaking for her. Where is my pendant? I started feeling every ware for it, but to no avail. “Your light, Hunny, use your light.” I heard, and that is when I remembered the cemetery. Right… my light. I closed my eyes, digging deep into my sole as I found it and I raised it, allowing it to envelope me as a light blue fog was havering at my feet and I instantly felt better. I took the child in my arms and held her to me. ‘What is your name, little one?" “A... A... Amy.” Well, Amy, I will try my best to help you. Do you know anything about how you got here?" “No... just... just a man with angry black eyes taking me and then I woke up here.” “Okay, how about we break out of here? I’m sure my friends will help us.” She just nodded to me as she clung to me like a little monkey.
I wish Eric was here right now. Just being close to him makes me feel protected and cherished, and when he touches me, I will get goosebumps all over. He just had this effect on me, as if we were fated to be together. I never thought I would need someone so much as I need him right now. He’s probably losing his mind right now. Wondering where I am. I need to get out of here. I need to get back to him and together we will figure out what happened. A tear rolled over my cheek as Amy pulled back. “What’s wrong, why you crying?” “O don’t worry, Sweetheart, it’s nothing.” Is all I said as we near a big steel door or I thought it was steel... until Amy started screaming. “What’s wrong!?” “It burns, it burns so much.” I realized the door must be silver, so I took a few steps back, putting her down in a corner. “Wait here so that I can deal with the door.” She looked at me all surprised as she asked, “But aren’t you burning too?” “No Sweetheart silver does not do anything to me.” She looked in wonder to me as if she had heard nothing like it. I went over to the door to try to open it, but it was locked and rock solid. Now how am I supposed to get out of this hell of a place? I stood there thinking for a bit, looking at the lock. Wait... I need something sharp, as I started to look at the floor around us and against the wall. There, that would work. I pulled on a silver nail that was on the wall and eventually it came loose and out. I used it to pick the lock and as soon as it opened, it opened to a room made from silver. O no, this is not happening. How am I supposed to get her out now... seriously...
“Use your light...” “My light…, how am I supposed to do that?” There was no answer. “You know, little wolf, these ghosts are getting on my nerves.” She looks at me as if I have gone insane. I took her in my arms with my back turned to the room and watched the light by my feet. I closed my eyes, forming it in my mind to clothe itself around us like a fire protected blanket. As I open my eyes, there it was… wrapped around us. “Okay, little wolf, you hold on tight now.” I feel her grip going tighter around me, as I kept my back to the room and started to run back word to the door, thrashing both our wights against it, causing the bolts to brake and we were out. I looked around to make sure it was safe as I set her down. “Where are we?” “I have no idea, but we must be silent don’t want to draw any unwanted attention.” It was a corridor of some sorts, painted white, it almost look like a hospital. As I turn to look which way we need to move, I felt the darkness pushing at me and I knew it was not good news. There was a big pot plant against the wall and I told Amy to go and hide there until I would come and get her. She hesitated for a bit, but did as she was told. I turned and started walking in the other direction, walking slowly to where the bend was. As I turned the corner... a claw came from nowhere and broke the skin on my cheek. I backed away as fast as I could, but in less than a second, a gigantic creature with wigs was on top of me and started clawing and hitting wherever it could find a space. Then, pushing my light away, I let the darkness consume my whole body and mind as the anger fueled me and it was as my strength came with it I struck the creature right beneath the rib cage, sending it flying to the floor. There was a lot of anger and darkness in this thing, but as I walk closer, the darkness faded in him as he took his last breath and I saw it was a Dragon. It is my first time I saw one of these, but before I could take a better look, it turned human. Signalling that he was truly dead. Bringing me back to my question... what the f**k is happening here?
I heard a scream, and I knew that voice it was the little wolf. Running as fast as I could, I turned the corner back to her and there it was, a Vampire holding her by her throat and moving in to bite her. “Hey! Leave the kid alone! Why don’t you come and try to get some of this?” I turned my neck to the side, revealing one of the scratch marks made by the Dragon. Don’t know why, because blood was oozing out from just about everywhere on my body. In a split second he was in front of me with his hand around my neck coming closer for a taste, but the darkness in me will not grant it as my body started moving in its own will and I was a little surprised on how fast I was. In seconds we were on the floor with me on top and my hand full of blood with his heart in it and he just laid there with a hole in his chest. I jumped up, throwing the heart against the wall, not believing what I have done and a crying girl behind me. I battled to bring the light back up as the darkness clearly did not want to back down yet, and I really did not want to hurt an innocent little girl. Turning around, I took her in my arms and fell to the floor with her in my lap, swaying us both back and forth, trying to calm the both of us. There must be an easier way to use the darkness and light in me and a way that the darkness doesn’t take over the way it did now.
Then I heard something. It sounded like bones breaking and Amy suddenly screaming. I let go of her immediately tinking that I was the cause, but even when I did not touch her, her bones were snapping. She looked at me with eyes full of tears, calling on me to help her, but I did not know what was happening. “She is shifting, Sweetheart, keep her calm and tell her not to resist the change. It will be painful, but it will be over quicker.” Now I remember Eric told me that the first few changes are very painful. I knelt down by her side, caressing her hair and trying to calm her. “Little wolf, you are becoming a powerful wolf now. Don’t be scared. It will only hurt for a bit. Close your eyes, see your wolf and the focus on her eyes, her paws and her body. Don’t fight it, it will just make it painfuller than it already is.” She closed her eyes and what felt like hours, standing in front of me, was the quietest little golden brown wolf with big brown eyes. “O aren’t you the quietest little thing.” I said as I hold out my hand to her. She came and put her head in my hand as I scratched the top of her head and examining her, making sure that she had no injuries from the transformation. After a few minutes, she laid down on the ground exhausted and I sat next to her as she put her head on my lap, closing her eyes. “You rest now, little wolf. It is time for my transformation.”
Closing my eyes, I went to a far place in my mind, reaching the darkness and introducing the light. They clashed as they both wanted to be the dominated one. I used everything I had to separate the darkness and light. They would not butch. Stop!!! I yelled in my head at the two and it was as if they were living, breathing entities, as both stood still. I walk forward in between them, taking the one in my left hand and the other one in my right hand. Pusing my hands together, pushing them together, I made them combine in harmony and there was a mist release as the two infused with one another. When I opened my hands, a gentle breeze went all around me and it was the colour of silver and grey wrapping around me, making a shield of protection and I could feel the raw power behind it as it went through me. Opening my eyes, I saw it swirl around me and the little wolf and I felt safe, sheltered by it, as I also rested my eyes for a bit.
I got up aching all over, probably because of the hard ground and the brief encounters I just had. Then I felt this sting in my heart as if someone was striking a needle into it and it burned. “Eric, I need to get back to him.” She looks at me mystified as to why I’m acting this why or to the mist that is infolding me. “Don’t worry, Little wolf, I will break you out soon. Can you shift back?” The wolf shook her head. I looked at her a little puzzled before I realized she needed her parents or a high-ranking wolf to help her. “You okay in that form?” She started jumping up and down and rubbing her head against me. “I’ll take that as a yes. Let’s go.” We started walking around the corner and around the two body’s I left behind as I got the feeling of dread and death coming over me and I knew it was danger approaching as I pushed Amy behind me and got myself ready for impact keeping my eyes on the wooden door in front of us. “Come on out and play. I know you are there and I know you can hear me.” I said in a sort of singing voice, taunting however is behind the door. Next moment the door scattered in to a million pieces as a tremendous wolf came out. I look up into its eyes and they were blood red as I could smell the dead come from him. I knew there was an abundance of innocence taken by him. But he was powerful, as he stood almost three times my size. How the hell must I fight this thing without weapons? “You are the first of you kind, Love, you just need to let go and you will beat him.” I closed my eyes for a second, taking a deep breath as I thrust the surrounding mist at him, focusing on the wind taking him by surprise. Using it to fold him, cutting him with all the sharp edges, and as the massive creature went down, I brought the mist back and stepped to his head, ripping his jaw from his body, killing him. I look back at my little wolf and she just stood there with her eyes big, not believing what she is experiencing. “Don’t worry, Sweetheart, no one will hurt you.” She came up behind me, pushing me to go forward. So that is what we did as we entered the dark room for what used to be a doorway.
My eyes adjusted fast to the darkness, and it surprised me that I could see everything. We walked thru the room out another wooden door into yet another long corridor. We walk corridor for corridor. It felt like we were walking for hours and I must admit I was starving and thirsty and I’m sure my Little wolf was on the same page. I could smell fresh air as we entered a corridor with a golden door at the end. “We are almost out, just thru that door, Sweetheart.” I said as I look down at the little wolf and she shuddered. I followed her eyesight and what I saw I never thought I would ever see. In front of us stood the most beautiful Unicorn. She was all white with a golden horn, standing proudly as we looked at her. But the closer I looked, the more I could see. There was a snake within her, a darkness that was not fit for a Unicorn. She had killed and would not hesitate to kill again as she came charging towards us.
My first thoughts were we needed to kill it, but it is said if you kill a creature like this, the dead will forever follow you and everything you touch will be destroyed. “Little wolf, listen carefully.” I said as I was fending off the Unicorn that came at me. “We need to get the door open.” I said once again as I jump up on the Unicorn’s back, distracting it from the wolf. “Do what you can to open the door, Little wolf, or we will both die.” Amy ran towards the door using her wolf's strength and crash into it, as I was on the Unicorns back, trying to close its eyes and trying to stay on. After the seventh attempt by my little wolf, she sprang the door open. I pushed the Unicorn to the opposite side as I jumped off running towards the now open door. Luckily, I made it as I close the door behind me and pushing a colossal wooden beam across it. Falling to the ground out of breath as the animal kept on running into the door. “Lets get out of here before the door gives in.” I said to the Amy, but all around us was darkness and as my eyes adjusted, I could see that we were in the forest, but it was night and there was no moon tonight. I started walking north as a bright light came from the front and in no time, I was in the arms of my beloved Eric. He held me tightly to him, taking in my scent. “I was so worried about you.” He said into my ears and all I could do was take his face and putting our lips against one another as I got drunk in the feeling of him against me and the sensation his kisses gave me. “Why is she still alive?” A voice from behind us came and forced Eric and me to separate from each other. As I looked at the man who said the words, I could see it was the guy from the right side of the council as he walked closer to my little wolf. Another wolf came to the side of the little wolf and shielded her from the man. “Jax.” He growls, making the ground shake underneath us, and I move in front of the council member path. “She is just a child and did nothing wrong. What I would like to know is what she did in there and why was I in there.” He looked at me as if he wanted to kill me. “She was in there, because her entire bloodline is murderers and has killed many Hunters. She would grow up being the same.” As he said that, I could not find any truth in his words and by Jax’s growling, I was right. “Were is the rest of the council?” I asked, with authority dripping from every word. I was pissed, hungry, and tired, I did not have time for games. He looked at me with a scared look as Saruman materialized next to him. “They are all sleeping now. I will take you back. I’m sure you are in dying need of food.” The only thing I was in dying need was awners and my Eric, but the little wolf was weak as she laid behind me and Jax, who was refusing to turn back. I look at Eric, and as if reading my mind, he went over to her, taking her into his arms. “She will come with us and we will speak to the council first thing in the morning.” The guy still wanted to object, but Prue was in front of him, pointing her long nail in his face. ”You better leave now, or you may be the one dead.” “Are you threatening a council member!?” “O please get off you high horse, she is warning you, won’t waste a thread on someone like you.” Is all I said as we turned and walk behind Saruman to the Mansion for superb food and rest.
