A twenty-minute drive to the park. We parked the RV in the parking lot while we all got down from the bus with our pieces of luggage in our hands.

We were all putting on shirts and shorts with a shade and comfy sneakers, it was Felicia who had suggested we were uniform although in different colors. Nicholas still manages to add a bow tie to it, I’d told him he looked like a clown and some kids might think he is one of the Disney characters.

We had gotten there at 7:05 am before the opening of the park at 8:00 am. The resort booking allowed us to enter before the crowd got there. We were able to sort security and got to the entrance of the fun-filled place, there was a Mickey Mouse greeting people at the entrance of the iconic guest entrance.

“Yay, we are in,” Angela said excitedly

“Yes, we gonna have fun,” Nicholas said

“There are just a few people here,” James said

“There aren’t many people here until the opening hour, it because we are lodging here that why we could enter before other people,” I said

“Okay, I was wondering the same too,” Micheal said

“Let go in we don’t have much time,” Felicia said hurrying inside

I touched Jessie’s cheek who was asleep on Nicholas’s arm

We were shown our hotel rooms and we all entered respectively with our partners, I’d ordered a sandwich from the hotel service, to each of the rooms. After finishing eating with Micheal, I glanced through the room, it was bright and radiant I sat on the bed while I looked at Micheal arranging our belongings into the closet.

He came close to me and whispered “Happy birthday my love” into my ear. He kissed my lips deeply while I closed my eyes and placed my hand on the back of his neck, drawing him closer to me

He removed his mouth gently

“This is not the time we shouldn’t be carried away,

“Can’t I have birthday s*x first?” I said opening my eyes

“Not yet, stand up, let go call the rest out,” Micheal said giving me his hand to hold

As soon as we opened the door they were already at the door, they screamed

“Happy birthday” Bridgett holding a gift in their hands

I covered my mouth with my hands, feeling emotional, a tears dropped from my eyes

“You guys should come in,” Micheal said ushering them in

I collected the gifts from them and placed them on the bed

“You also have a gift for me Jessie,” I said placing my two hands on my chest

She handed it to me and said “Happy birthday Auntie Bridgett”

I bent down and carried her, squeezing her to my body and pouring kisses on her face and she giggled, I put her down while I hugged the rest

“Thank you so much guys,” I said feeling overwhelmed

“Anything for you Bridgett,” Nicholas said hugging me again

“Mrs Macaulay you are welcome,” James said

“You are welcome Bridgett” both Felicia and Angela chorused giggling, they both hugged me again while I planted a kiss on their cheeks

“Thank you so much guys, you know you can’t open these presents now, we should get going now

“But before we go out we should put on a birthday hat each” Felicia said bringing it out from a bag and handing it over to us each “Everybody needs to know it's your birthday and we are the celebrant friends” she added

I put on my hat that has “It My Birthday” written on it and “Am The Friend to the Birthday Celebrant” written on the others

“Who is ready to have some serious fun” I said with so much excitement

“Me,” they said in unison

By the time we got outside, there were many more people than when we went inside. There was the smell of popcorn in the air accompanied by the sounds of joyful screams of roller coasters, families posing for photos with their Disney favorite character, wearing Disney-themed apparel, some couples were getting into a restaurant with so much laughter and happiness.

I had made reservations for dining and gotten the park-hopper ticket which enabled us to get into Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park and I’d also reserved the FastPasses so we wouldn’t have to wait in line for anything.

I’d made plans for our stay to be amusing.

We took pictures first with each of our favorite Disney characters with no rush, Jessie had said her favorite character was Moana and we let her pose with the character.

We had gone in and out of the two parks, it was fun to go from one park to another

The queue for some activities was long but because we had our Fastpast it enabled us to beat the crowd and ride our favorites in a short time.

After hours of gallivanting the whole park, we decided to go have some delicious treats.

We entered a Mexican restaurant to dine, at Rancho del Zocano.

“I didn’t expect this trip to be so exciting,” James said beaming

“Me too” Micheal added using the palm of his hand to clean his forehead

A waiter came to take our orders

“Hi and Good afternoon, how may I help you” she said smiling with a pen and a book in her hands

“We’ve looked through the menu, we would like to have tacos and enchiladas and we would like two agua fresca and five margaritas”

“Okay” she left returning with our orders

She looked at me and asked

“Is today your birthday ma’am?” she asked

“Yes, it is” I answered looking up at her

“That lovely happy birthday,” she said smiling

“Thank you” I replied

“You’re welcome ma’am, we have birthday treats for those celebrating today”

“Ooh! that fantastic,” I said

“We will let you have your meal while we will bring the surprises,” the waiter said

“Fine by me,” I said

Then she left

“The fun is never-ending Bridgett,” Nicholas said smiling

“Yeah it isn’t,” I said

“I wonder what they have for you, let quickly eat” Felicia added

After some minutes finished that we eating a waiter came to clear our table.

After he left, the waiter who took our order came in with a mini-size cake with candles on it, another waiter followed with wine and cups, and they placed it on our table.

I looked at the cake and “Happy birthday To You” was written on it “We are saying a big happy birthday to you, ma’am.

“Am so grateful” I said, while I hugged her

Looked at my friends and they were all in awe

she lit the candle on the cake and asked me to make a wish. I closed my eyes and said silently

“Lord give me a wonderful offspring” I opened my eyes and blew the lights. They all clap their hands.

“Happy birthday once again, love of my life,” Micheal said kissing me

“Have a magical day ma’am” the waiter said and left

“I know you guys are ready to have some birthday cake for dessert,” I said taking the knife to cut the cake

“Am totally in” Felicia said bringing the plates for me to put the cake into for everyone.

“That was very lovely,” Micheal said

“Excuse me guys I would like to use the restroom,” Angela said standing up

As soon as she left, Nicholas brought out a box of rings from his pocket and showed it to us

“Oh my God, that's a ring,” Felicia said

“Yes, have been wanting to tell you guys, but this is the right time, I don’t know when to pop the question, am kinda nervous,” Nicholas said

“Aww, this is a good decision Nick, am so proud of you, do not worry you can do it tomorrow, we will make a plan for it,” I said

“Congratulations in advance man,” James said

“Thank you”

“Do not worry tomorrow is going to be a perfect day” Micheal added

“Let's pop the drink already,” Angela said drawing a chair out to sit

“We were waiting for you”

Micheal poured the drink into the glass for everyone.

“Let's toast to a good life, good relationships, and more money,” Micheal said raising his cups

“To a good life, good relationships, and more money” we all chorused with our cups clicking
