"LET'S HAVE SOME MORE wine," Nick said and strode to Darcy, who sat at the table. Darcy's eyes followed Nick's supple gait. A smile danced on her lips, and her pupils sparkled. Darcy had already had a glass of wine, and she showed the effects. A blush matted her cheekbones, and she seemed more relaxed than before. She nodded enthusiastically and lifted her glass so that Nick could pour her some more wine. The man tilted his head and observed the woman carefully. "Are you sure you're all right?" he asked her with concern. Now the man questioned the wisdom of filling Darcy's glass again. She seemed to have had enough. "I'm just great," Darcy directed a wide smile toward him and tapped the rim of the glass with one finger. "You said that you'd pour some more. What are you waiting for?" "P
