ADAM DROVE INTO NICK’S ranch yard around noon. This time, the motion sensor devices had already warned Nick that someone was coming. That morning, the man had made a tour and checked every sensor, and now he could rely on them. All of them functioned as he expected.
However, Nick knew that anything could happen and had taken out a few weapons from his arsenal. He wanted them at hand if he needed them.
