Yonderville Airport had been completely locked down. It was because the top medical team and renowned experts in Novaria had unexpectedly arrived on a chartered plane at Yonderville! This unprecedented event prompted the Mayor of Yonderville, Daniel Carter, and the city's wealthiest man, Simon Reed, as well as a host of entrepreneurs and socialites from various sectors, to rush to the airport. All the members of this top medical team were world-famous doctors. Their academic achievements were so profound that they could even cure seemingly incurable diseases! For ordinary people, medical treatment cost a sky-high amount. But in the hands of these famous doctors, all the patients needed to do was wait in line! Countless magnates and nobles were willing to pay unimaginable sums just to have these doctors treat them. And now, all of them had gathered in Yonderville! 'Why? What exactly is happening here?' Before anyone could grasp the situation, a tall and imposing figure emerged in the middle of the airport. The man was with blood-red eyes and an ice-cold demeanor and full of urgency. Following him were rows of uniformed soldiers. They quickly sealed off the area. It was impossible for outsiders to glimpse the scene inside. This man was none other than Jonathan. The distinguished medical experts followed him quickly and promptly. At that moment and at the airport exit, hundreds of luxury cars and government vehicles were lined up neatly. Daniel and Simon, along with other notable figures, approached the medical team with utmost respect as they exited the airport. "We're thrilled to have you here in Yonderville..." Daniel began speaking, attempting a few words of greeting. But he was met with the cold barrels of guns! The soldiers completely disregarded Daniel's status. They pointed their guns at the heads of the gathered dignitaries and caused them to retreat in panic. One soldier, who appeared to be a captain, declared loudly, "The medical team will not meet with anyone today. Mr. Mayor, please leave." "Boom, boom, boom!" Following that, three military jeeps was fast as bullets and burst onto the scene. Soldiers in military attire swiftly disembarked. These were the high-ranking officers sent by Eastvale Military District. Each of them bore at least the rank of a Major. They forcefully brushed past Daniel and Simon and escorted Jonathan and the medical team into the vehicles. Then the vehicles left with a roar. The whole thing happened in less than a minute. All the prominent figures were utterly frozen. "Mr. Mayor, what's going on? Those experts were brought away just like that! And who is that man they were surrounding? The military sent high-ranking officers to escort him!" a secretary whispered to Daniel. Daniel was serious, too. He had been from the military district himself. He knew the importance of sending so many high-ranking officers just to escort someone! "Quickly! Follow them, and find out where they're going! Do not interfere with their operations. Just keep me updated on the situation," Daniel instructed his secretary before turning to leave. The secretary saluted and asked him hastily, "Mr. Mayor, what happened? Where are you going?" "I'm heading to the military district headquarters. A major crisis may be coming!" With that, Daniel swiftly got into his car and sped away from the airport. Meanwhile, across the globe, Jonathan's well-oiled network of informants and secretly arranged subordinates also received news from him. They all boarded the quickest flights to Yonderville. The daughter of a respected five-star general was on the brink of death. This news would shock the world! At that moment, at Eastvale Military District headquarters. In a mysterious and heavily guarded war research room, there was a tall, middle-aged man with hands clasped behind his back and a stern gaze. He watched a large electronic screen. The screen was filled with fast-moving red dots moving towards Eastvale Military District. He was Derek Foster, a general of Eastvale Military District. "Bang!" Derek's face flushed with indignation. He furiously pounded his fist on the desk, bellowing, "Find out why the Navy Secret Special Forces have suddenly been ordered to move towards us! Quickly!" "General, we've found out! We just received confirmation through internal communication codes. The assembly of the special forces is taking place under our jurisdiction in Yonderville," his adjutant rushed in and his forehead was beaded with cold sweat. "What?!" Derek's brows furrowed as he glanced at the electronic screen. He asked in a chilling voice, "Wasn't it said that the commander of the Navy Secret Special Forces, Jonathan Parker, was to be promoted to a five-star general today, and his troops were being reviewed? Why have all the troops suddenly moved out? Don't they know they'll be penalized by the military?" "I don't know. They didn’t give a reason." The adjutant shook his head. Derek's expression turned even more perplexed. As the general of Eastvale Military District, he couldn't ignore such a unconventional military personnel movement. He had to intercept it to prevent chaos. Just then, the military phone rang, and Derek picked it up. "This is Derek Foster." "Derek! This is Nathan Shaw. I'm transmitting a command from the highest echelons of the military: you are to fully cooperate with Jonathan's operation! If needed, all forces of Eastvale Military District must obey Jonathan's orders unconditionally!" The phone transmitted a grave and authoritative voice. It caused a shudder through Derek. The call was from the military's highest command center, the covert Imperial Tower. An order coming from there had to be obeyed! "Yes! Orders received!" Derek hung up and roared, "Pass on my orders! Do not intercept! Shut down all combat equipment! Shut everything down! Also, inform all units that they must allow passage wherever Jonathan's subordinates go! If they need support, you are to comply unconditionally! Unconditionally!" "Yes, sir!" the adjutant saluted, turned around, and relayed the orders. With a grave expression, Derek turned to one of the men nearby and said, "You, find out exactly what happened in Yonderville! I want the most accurate information within five minutes!" Three minutes later, a subordinate rushed in, stood at attention, and saluted him. "General! We've found out. There was a serious car accident in Yonderville involving a little girl. But according to the Yonderville Police, it was likely a deliberate murder." "A little girl?" Derek furrowed his brows. "How’s she related to Jonathan? Is it worth such a grand mobilization?!" "According to intelligence personnel, the little girl’s name is Ruby Parker. Her mother's name is Olivia Harrison. She... She is General Jonathan Parker's daughter!" The subordinate delivered this statement, and his demeanor was visibly shaken. A thunderous realization hit Derek. He stood in shock, his eyes wide with astonishment. The daughter of a five-star general had been a target of premeditated murder! Jonathan was the youngest-ever five-star general in Novaria! His feats were known worldwide! This news would cause a global sensation!
