The Prophecy

Chapter 2 The Other Side of the Vale

     At the same time on the other side of the vale in the super natural world everyone is living happily. They do not have the same kind of wars humans do. Unfortunately they do have power struggles between the species.

     The three strongest species have always been the fairy's, the dragons, and the wolves. But twenty years ago a horrible virus destroyed the dragons.No one has seen them since. Now the fairy's  rule everything. Being the strongest they have learned to protect the entire super nature world from the human race. Unfortunetley because of this last disaster the fairy's were forced to do something drastic.

    "My lord we have collected all of the information we can."" So tell me Arron how bad is it on the other side of the vale?"" Sire they have no electricity, they barely know how to feed themselves, and they dont know how to deal with no internet. It's almost like the time period they we left them in. Only much worse. Very few people know how to do anything and those few are trying to teach others. Its like the blind leading the blind. I'm not sure they will survive the coming winter."" But it's been a year since the world lost power."" True to a point Sire. You see last winter was really mild. This year it is already getting cold. And to be honest Sire they human race is not that smart."" Markus you have been listening, what do you think we should do?"" My Lord I think it is time for our people to come out of the shadows. I think we should cross the vale and rejoin the world. Make are presents known to all."" Do you really think that's wise? After all they shunned us. They thought they were superior and acted like we didn't exist.""I know but if we continue to hold this grudge we will destroy. the balance of nature."" The Balance of Nature, your majesty we should rule again. They are the ones destroying the balance of nature. Let the humans die."" Arron that is enough. They humans are just one part of the wheel. we have already lost the dragons, would you have us fall father by destroying the humans as well?"" Yes my Lord what ever you think is best. What would you have me do?"" I want you to send envoys out to all the clans. I want to see the head of every species. All of the super natural world must know and be ready for when the vale comes down."" As you wish my Lord, with your leave I would start now.""Yes Arron you may go."

     After a few minutes of silence the king looks at Markus and says," I want you to cross over and blend in if you can. Come back to me in a month and tell me what you learn so we can better plan on what to do."" As you wish my Lord. Shall I start now? Yes and do not tell anyone what you are doing, just go. I fear there are many others like Arron who do not want to help the humans."" Yes my lord, as you say my lord. I will see you a month from tomorrow my lord."" Good luck and may the gods watch over you."

    With that Markus left the palace and the king and disappeared.
