The Chase

Chloe and Michael. One happy couple, who most people would say are marriage material. Nothing could separate them from eachother...or so they thought. In a small town of Nashville, Chloe was awaiting a very important letter. A letter that contains information that would potentially change her life for the better...or the worse. Who knows? As the postman, walks slowly up her driveway, Chloe stares through the window, hoping that it's the letter she has been begging to receive. By the time, the postman reached the door, Chloe swung open the door, making the postman jump and scream, dropping all the letter that he was holding in his hand. Those seconds lost, killed Chloe and begged the postman to hurry up and pick them up. As quick as he possibly could, the postman gathered his letter and finally handed over the letter that was addressed to the house. As Chloe, looked at who's name was on the letter, she gave one massive smile as she saw that it was for her. She jumped up and down repeatedly, while heading to the living room. In that room stood her mom, dad and little sister. "This is it." Chloe said repeatedly Seconds felt like minutes as she was opening the letter awaiting to see what was inside. "Its from the University, I've always wanted to go to." Chloe said As she read what the letter said, her smile got bigger and bigger until it was physically impossible to smile more. She was accepted. Everyone in that room rushed to Chloe in excitement and hugged her very tightly, congratulating her nonstop. Her smile slowly faded as soon as she realised one thing...the love of her life. She sat down on the sofa and gathered her thought. Her family started feeling concerned about her and wondered what could be wrong. She explained the whole situation and they all understood her feelings. Wondering what to do, Chloe had thought about every possible thing that could happen while she was away at University in a different city. "I cant believe I'm going to do this. After 5 years of being together, I'm going to end it. All so I can focus on my University course." Chloe said "Dont worry, darling." her mom said, "I'm sure he'll wait for you." she continued "Its not that simple. I'll be gone for 4 years. What if he doesnt want me back?" Chloe asked "Then it wasnt meant to be." her mom said Chloe was so indecisive but she knew she needed to make the correct choice. "I have 2 months before I leave, I'll think about it and see what happens." said Chloe Her mom, dad and little sister were all very supportive of her to decision to think about what the future may hold.
