Hi guys, weekly updates every Monday and Thursday night. xxx Something like this isn’t meant to happen to someone like me, my life was the picture of perfection. My parents were extremely wealthy and I was dating the quarter back of the football team in a town where football was a religion. It started with nightmares, bloody and gruesome nightmares I would wake up screaming and drenched in sweat like I had been running. My mum came running into my room and wrapped her arms around me. “Shh baby its ok; I’m here your safe.” Then she sat with me until I was asleep again, the next day I was back to normal. It was the country finals week and my boyfriend was playing so I watched him train all day, I sat there in the blenches watching him smiling when I suddenly felt someone watching me, I look around but I didn’t see anyone but I could smell something so I follow the smell until I find a pile of cigarette butts by a tree that was across from where I had been sitting. I shake my head and decide to forget about it, I wait until they are finished with practice before going up to Liam and kiss him goodbye. “You were amazing as always, I will see you tonight.” “Don’t be late, you’re my lucky charm.” He winked at me as I left for my car, I went home had a shower and got dressed into a stunning black and yellow dress that I had bought just for this match. “Mom, Dad we need to leave in the next 5 minutes so I can be there to wish Liam luck before the game.” I can hear my parents laugh at my words, I giggle to myself as I come down the stairs. We jump into the car and head to the schools oval, as soon as the car stops I jump out and run to the boys locker room. Liam is waiting in his uniform outside for me; I fly into his arms and kiss him. “Wish me luck.” he says nervously, I smile at him. “You don’t need luck, you are the most skilled and talented player on this team. You will win and I will be in the front row to see it all.” “I love you Eve.” “I love you too.” I kiss him again before letting him go; I slowly make my way outside to my parents when I smell the scent from early today. I look around and see a stranger in a duster and an old black cowboy hat, to anyone else they wouldn’t look out of place but I felt it there was something very different about this person. But as I took a step towards them, the figure disappeared into the crowd as the siren sounded, I tried to ignore it as I took my seat next to my parents. I cheered until my lungs hurt and I couldn’t speak anymore, we won 45 to 39. The whole town erupted into cheers and celebrations, there was a party in the main street but I waited for Liam to change out of his uniform.
