Tutoring Sharon

"You guys always bumping into each other must have something to it. Don't you think so?" Kate asked. "I really don't know what to think anymore." I poured the hot water in the kettle inside my cup noddles, covered it with the lid and waited for few seconds. " I mean we keep encountering each other but he doesn't even look at me." I sighed heavily into the phone. I uncovered the cup, dug my fork inside and shoved a forkful of noodles into my mouth. 'Damn it's hot.' "I get your point. Why not just make a move on him instead?" She suggested and I almost spat out the noodles in my mouth.. "What?! Are you crazy?" I whispered yell. "I am not crazy and That was just a suggestion" "I can't do that. I have pride too." I told her. I resumed eating my noodles. "Aubrey, there is no harm telling a guy you like, about how you feel. It would even make you come out as a courageous and brave lady." She tried to convince me. "I don't know." I hesitated. "Try. Okay?" She pressed further. "He is not a simple guy. He is a cold wolf." "No matter how wolfish he is, there will always be a wolfsbane." We both laughed at her stupid joke. I heard a knock come from the door. "Hold on!" I yelled out to the person at the door. "Kate, someone's at the door. Will you hold or call later?" I asked her. "Let's talk later. I've got things to do too." She said. "Laters, then." "Yeah but you are going to fill me in on later, right?" She asked "Yes ma'am." I rolled my eyes. I hung up the phone and went to the door to open it. "Hi. Aubrey, right?" Dave greeted. "Yeah. Dave?" I asked him "Yeah. Is Sarah here?" "She's out" 'she wouldn't want to see you even if she wasn't.' i thought to myself. "I will check her later." He said. "I don't think that is a good idea. Because she said she doesn't want to see you anymore." I informed him. "She said that?" He asked sadly. "Yes. I know this is none of my business but you shouldn't have done that You shouldn't have cheated on her. "Oh my God" he rubbed his face with his palms and sighed out of frustration. "I never cheated on her! She got it all wrong." He explained. "What?!" I was confused. "The girl she saw was my cousin, she came back from London that night." He explained further. "Then how come she got a key to your room without you being around and she was in your shirt too?" "Why should i explain to you? You are not my girlfriend. I'd rather explain to Sarah." "I agree. But you should know you'd need my help to convince her to listen to you." I crossed my hands over my chest and smirked. From the change in his body movement, I could see he gave what I said a thought and accepted defeat. "Fine! My roommate allowed her in. And as for my shirt? I guess she went through my closet." He explained. "How should I know you are telling the truth? Do you have proof she is really your cousin?" I narrowed my eyes and arched and eyebrow at him. "I have a living witness." He replied me confidently "Who?" I inquired "The cause of the whole issue." "Your cousin?" I asked to be sure. "Yes. All I need now, is Sarah." I thought for a minute and decided to help their relationship since he already explained. "Can I have your phone?" "What for?" He asked with confusion written with capital letters on his head. "Just give me the phone." I rolled my eyes. He handed his phone to me and I typed in my number "There, call me by 3pm tomorrow." I gave him his phone. "Okay. Will do. Bye." He left without another word. I sighed and shook my head at his restricting figure. I went back inside to prepare for the next day's class. ******** Finally, my first class of the day ended after an hour of fighting off sleep. I was packing my stuffs when I heard someone clear their throat behind me. I looked up and it was Greg. "Hey. Greg" I greeted him with a smile. "Hi." He waved and returned my smile with an even brighter one. "How have you been?" I asked him. "I have been good. You?" "Well, I have been trying to live." We both chuckled and went out of the class walking down the hallway. "I didn't get your number the other. Do you mind?" He brought out his phone. "Of course not." I collected his phone and typed in my number. "There." I returned his phone to him. "So, what are you doing later?" He asked. I was going to say nothing but I remembered I had set an appointment with Sarah's boyfriend or should I say ex. "I have an appointment with someone." I told him. "Boyfriend?" He asked "What?! Of course not." I said quickly. Just about then, I saw Jake or could it be that my eyes are seeing things again? He was walking to my direction. No, my eyes are healthy. He walked closer and stopped right in front of I and Dave. I stood at that spot looking at him. "You clearly bumped into me this time." I said to him quickly. "Come with me." He commanded. I stood there not moving an inch. I guess he noticed I wasn't following him. Then, he looked back at me. "Didn't you hear me? I said come with me." He repeated. I looked behind me to see if he was referring to somebody else. 'What are you thinking? His eyes are clearly on you' my inner goddess rolled her eyes at me. Then I pointed to myself. "Me?" He said nothing and left. "I will talk to you later. Bye" I said to Greg and followed behind Jake. 'What does he want?' 'is he going to kill me because I have been pestering him?' 'Wait! Could it be he realized he likes me too and wanted to apologize for being shitty towards me?' Those were the questions that kept replaying in my head. I kept following him till we got to a secluded place. The place was as silent as ccementary. 'You could have turned back when you had the chance to but you followed him anyway. Now, you are going to have the both of us killed for the crime you committed' my inner goddess lashed out at me. "I thought you said you aren't scared of me." "Uhh?" His words brought me out of my thoughts. Then what he said registered into my brain. "I I I am not sscared of you." I stuttered. All he did was smirk at me. "Why did you bring me here?" I finally had the nerve to ask. "Can you turtor a seven years old?" He asked emotionlessly. "What?" I asked out of confusion. "You heard me" He said sternly, looking straight into my eyes. "I think I can" I nod. "You think you can? Or you can? Be clear." I asked sternly again 'What's with him?' I eyed him inwardly. 'He is indeed a cold wolf.' I thought to myself. "Yes, I can. So, who am I going to tutor?" "Sharon." "Sharon?!" I asked surprised. ********* AUTHOR'S NOTE There guys. What do u guys think about this episode?
