Chapter 12

I was woken by the ship shaking and loud crashing sounds. I quickly placed my earpiece into my ear, I placed my boots back on and grabbed my staff. I rushed from the room. I ran to the bridge. Everything was in chaos.

"Bring the carrier inwards and head south. Take us to the water." Fury was shouting out orders.

"Why water? Navigation recalibrated after the engine failure." Helmsman said to him. I ignored them and went to find Barton. I knew he was here somewhere. I could feel it. I found him just as Fury claimed he was heading towards the detention level, he was in the lower equipment room. I jumped down in front of him at the same time Natasha jumped behind him. He was quick to point an arrow at her. Natasha and I nodded at each other. Together we would get him back. He glanced back at me before shooting at Natasha and then trying to shoot at me. Natasha and I were both quick to attack. We got his bow away from him only for him to grab a knife. The three of us fight on the catwalk. Together, we got him down on his knees knocking his head on one of the bars. He seemed to almost come out of the mind control.

"Natasha, Jade..." He started to ask but Natasha coldcocks him, knocking his ass out. We looked at each other and sighed. I used magic to lift him up. Natasha and I took him to a medical room. Once, we had him lying on a bed. We strapped him down. We waited for him to wake up. He was trying to shake off Loki's mind control.

"Clint, you're gonna be alright." Natahsa tried to comfort him.

"You know that? Is that what you know? I got.... I gotta go in though. I gotta flush him out." Clint said a little aggressively, trying to fight it.

"We don't have that long, it's gonna take time." I warned him.

"I don't understand. Have you ever had someone take your brain and play? Pull you out and send something else in? Do you know what it's like to be unmade?" Clint asked us. I looked at Nat, knowing she had felt that way before.

"You know that I do," Natasha tried once again to comfort him. I knew her past just like Clint did. I squeezed her hand reassuringly.

"Why am I back? How did you get him out?" He asked us, getting some clarity.

"Cognitive recalibration," I said to him.

"We hit you really hard in the head." Natasha said, clarifying to him.

"Thanks," he said. Nat and I started to unfasten the restraints. Knowing Clint was back and Loki had no control on him.

"Tasha, how many agents?" He asked. I sighed, knowing he was going to ask this.

"Don't. Don't do that to yourself, Clint. This is Loki. This is monsters and magic and nothing we were ever trained for." Natasha said to him. I sighed, feeling guilty. I was strong enough to stand up to Loki alone, but yet I still stood there doing nothing.

"Loki, he got away?" Clint asked, knowing he did.

"Yeah. I don't suppose you know where?" Nat asked him. I stayed quiet though.

"I didn't need to know. I didn't ask. He's gonna make his play soon though. Today," Clint said, I snapped out of my head and looked at him. Feeling more determined now.

"We gotta stop him." I said.

"Yeah? Who's we?" Clint asked me. A little sarcastically.

"I don't know. Whoever's left?" I answered back, not giving up.

"Well, if I put an arrow in Loki's eyesocket, I'd sleep better, I suppose." Clint said. I chuckled and shook my head. That sounded more like Clint than anything he had said so far.

"Now that sounds like you," I said, while Nat sat next to him. We talked a little more, Nat and I were just sitting waiting for Clint to come out of the bathroom when Steve opened the door and looked at us.

"Time to go," Steve said. We both looked at him.

"Go where?" Nat asked him.

"I'll tell you on the way. Can you fly one of those jets?" Steve asked just as Clint walked out.

"I can." Clint said before I had the chance to say I could. Steve looked at Natasha and I, we both nodded our heads, letting him know Clint was a good guy.

"You got a suit?" He asked him.

"Yeah." Clint said.

"Then suit up." Steve said, before walking out.

~~~Bella's POV~~~

We all sat in the living room. My dad and both packs along with their mates was here we was having a nice time but now we're all facing the TV watching the news. Aliens were in New York City. We all watched as a video showed Jade floating, purple mist surrounded her hands and she was taking out the aliens. We watched as a shield flew towards her. She bent backwards just as the shield was embedded into an Alien, she grabbed the shield and tossed it back to whoever threw it. The scene changed, showing her partner Clint Barton and a red head. They fought with the Aliens as well. Jade landed beside them, taking a knife from her belt and throwing it at the head of one of the aliens. The two others looked behind them at her. They seemed to be talking. A guy holding a shield ran up to them. A guy holding a hammer landed next to him. He was bigger than Emmett. They all seemed to be talking, they stopped and looked towards something that wasn't on camera.

"That's Captain America. He went missing in 1945. He went down with a Nazi, Hydra Aircraft." My dad informed us. A guy walked into the camera's view.

"How is he still alive?" I asked. We watched as the guy they were talking to turned and walked towards one of the flying worms. Iron Man was hovering with missiles at the ready. We watched as the guy started to turn green and grow in size. He smashed the nose of the alien worm while Iron Man shot the missiles towards it, blowing it up. Jade was standing next to the guy with the hammer. I saw a purple shield in front of the two of them as the Alien was blown all over the place. They all stood with their backs to each other looking at the Aliens. The green guy roared at the aliens. We watched as Captain America started giving them orders. Red Head and Jade stayed on the ground with Captain America while everyone else went off. Jade handed the red head two guns and a few knifes. The red head smirked and loaded the guns. They all started to fight once again. Jade stopped and looked up at something, or someone. She said something to Captain America and Red Head. They both looked up at the same thing she was looking at. The three of them nodded, The red head took a few steps back. Jade was watching the Aliens in the sky. We watched as the red head took a running start. She jumped off the hood of a car and onto the Caps shield while he'propelled her into the air. She grabs onto one of the Alien ships, leaving Jade and the Cap. They fought together, even Jade used some hand-to-hand combat as she fought with the Aliens. We all watched in shock. We all knew her, we grew up with her. And yet she was fighting aliens. The Captain walked up to her and was saying something. He looked up at the red head being followed by a guy. Jade noticed and nodded her head. We watched as she vanished from sight. The next scene we saw was her on an alien ship behind the guy that had started this. It seemed like they were fighting on a tiny ship. She sent a blast of magic knocking him off the ship and on to the ledge of Stark Tower. She jumped from the ship and landed on the Tower. He stood up and looked right at her. It seemed as if they were talking. He went to punch her but she was quick to dodge his attack and she punched him instead. It seemed like they were matched in skill and strength.

~~~Jade's POV~~~

After the Hulk smashed Loki into the ground, he muttered Puny God. I laughed and nodded my head at him.

"Yes, he is, Hulk." I agreed with him before the Hulk jumped out of the building. I made my way up to the roof to be with Natasha. I brought the scepter with me, knowing she was going to need it. Once on the roof, Erik and Nat both looked at me. She smirked and took the scepter while I went to check on Erik.

"You okay Erik?" I asked him while kneeling down at him. He sighed but smiled at me.

"It's good to see you again Jade." He greeted me instead of answering my question.

"I can heal you if you want?" I told him, seeing the cut on his head. He nodded his head, allowing me to heal him. I lightly placed my hand on his head and closed my eyes. I used a healing spell letting my magic heal him. Once done, I dropped my hand and smiled.

"All done. Stay here, we have to finish this." I told him before standing up and walking over to Natasha. We were waiting for Tony. He was going to take a nuke up into the portal. We all waited. He flew into the portal. I watched, hoping to see him, but he wasn't coming back. I could see the supernova rushing towards the open portal.

"The Supernova is coming back!" I exclaimed so the others could hear. If that supernova was to reach the portal, then Tony's sacrifice would have been for nothing.

"Come on, Stark," Nat pleaded, not wanting to lose a team member.

"Close it," Cap said. I could hear the sadness in his voice. He didn't want to lose Tony. He would blame himself for not keeping Howards Starks' son safe. Nat uses the scepter to turn the tesseract off and close the portal. I gasped as I saw Tony falling from the sky.

"Holy S**t." I said. I quickly used my magic to lift myself into the air, going as fast as I could to Tony. I knew he was out cold. I grabbed him under his arms, trying to slow us down from falling. Hulk came out of no where and grabbed both of us from the sky. Slamming onto the side of a building, he took us to the ground. He threw Tony down while placing me on his shoulders.

~~~Bella's POV~~~

We all watched as Jade had grabbed Iron Man from falling in the sky but it didn't look like she was strong enough to slow them down. The green guy jumped up and grabbed them both from the sky, he crashed into the side of a building before sliding down to the ground. He threw Iron Man down face first on the ground and placed Jade on one of his shoulders. Letting her sit there. The Captain and the guy with the hammer knelt down and turned Iron Man over. The guy with the hammer took the face plate off of Iron Man's suit. They all seemed to get closer, trying to listen. The grave look on their faces said it all. The green guy roared at Iron Man, making Jade jump and making Iron Man wake up with a start. Jade jumped off of the green guy's shoulders and knelt down by the Captain. They all chuckled before turning their attention to Stark Tower. Jade stood up and opened a portal. One by one they all walked in.

"Seven people just fought and won against an army of aliens," Sam said in disbelief. I looked at my dad who seemed to be looking down at his phone as if she was going to call right away.

"Dad. She'll call. You can't expect her to call straight after. They still have things to do," I told him, trying to comfort him. He sighed but nodded his head.
