I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in Thor's arms. We were in the desert where I had seen the bifrost storm. He looked down at me, noticing that I was awake.
"You fought well, Sister." Thor said, as he sat me down. My legs felt weak but they were growing stronger. I looked to my right to see Sif carrying my staff and grimoire. She handed them to me. I smiled and nodded my thanks to her. I used the staff to keep me up. I miniturized the book and stuck it in my pocket. I looked to see Thor was holding Mjolnir. I smiled and bumped his shoulder with mine.
"I knew you were worthy." I said to him. He chuckled at me but nodded.
"Yes, you did." Thor agreed with me. I looked to his right to see Coulson and some Agents. Coulson looked at me and smiled.
"Fury wants to talk to you once we are back in New York," Coulson said to me.
"Yay, a talk with the boss." I said sarcasticly, Clint walked up to me and hugged me. "Are you hurt?" He asked me worriedly, just like any father would worry.
"Clint, we've been through this, it takes a lot to hurt me. Besides, a giant metal fist knocking me in the head ain't nothing." I said to him with a chuckle. He shook his head, not believing me.
"She fought bravely. She saved our lives and gave Thor his life back," Sif commented. I looked at her and smiled. "Even though you were raised here on Earth, you are the true Princess of Asgard. We are lucky to call you our princess." Sif continued, before placing her fist over her heart and kneeling down, I looked at the Warrior Three. Who did the same thing as Sif, I smiled and they all stood up. I turned and looked at Clint.
"Why don't you treat me that way?" I asked him, clearly joking.
"You're not my princess," Clint joked back.
"And here I thought we were friends," I exclaimed dramatically. Thor, Sif and the Warrior Three were trying to get Heimdall to open the Bifrost.
"He would open it if he could. I fear the worst." Thor said. He looked at me. "Can your staff show us Heimdall?" Thor asked. I waved my hand over the ball. It lit up, showing Thor and I, Heimdall frozen with two Frost Giants standing guard next to him. The ball's light went out. I looked at Thor, who looked really worried now.
"Frost giants are in Asgard, we must get back now!" Thor told the others. Clint leaned over to me.
"Can't you help by opening a portal for them?" Clint asked me. I looked at him, then back to Thor, Sif and the Warrior Three. I sighed and walked over to them. Knowing I would be draining my energy just to make sure they got back in time to save their own home.
"I might be able to get you there." I said to them. They all looked at me confused.
"How? Without the Bifrost, we are stuck here." Fandral worried. I shook my head, not agreeing with him.
"I have found a way to open portals to other places, through magic. I don't know if I will be able to get you all back, but I can at least get Thor back." I said to them. They all looked at each other before nodding.
"Thor, you must go. Asgard needs you. And once you get Heimdall back, you can open the Bifrost for us." Sif said. The other three agree with her. Thor sighed and looked at me, then looked at Jane. He walked over to Jane. I smiled at the way he was so gentle with her. How he treated her. I sighed and looked away wishing someone would treat me that way. Fandral placed his arm around me, I looked at him in question.
"Are all earth maidens this beautiful, or is it just you?" Fandral asked. I smiled and looked up at him. Knowing he had used the same line on Darcy.
"Fandral, stop flirting with our princess." Volstagg said with a laugh. Thor and Jane looked over at us. Thor sighed and walked back over to us.
"Are you sure...." Thor was saying just as a rainbow light hit the ground. I looked at it wide-eyed.
"Sorry, my love. These things happen." Fandral said to me. I rolled my eyes.
"Don't worry Fandral, you never stood a chance with me." I said to him. He looked at me, taken aback that I would reject him. He was about to say something but Volstagg placed his hand on his shoulder while laughing. Thor looked at Coulson.
"Know this, son of Coul. You and I, we fight for the same cause - the protection of this world. From this day forward, count me as your ally. If you return the items you have stolen from Jane Foster," Thor said.
"Not stolen. Borrowed." Coulson tried to argue while Jane shot him a look. "You'll get your equipment back. You're going to need it to continue your research..... which, after today's events, SHIELD would like to fully sponsor. If that's all right with you," Coulson quickly continued. Thor walked up to Jane and kissed her hand.
"Whatever fate lies before me, you are part of it." Thor said to her before taking her in his arms and kissing her passionately. He then walked over to me and gave me a hug. I hugged him back.
"I shall see you again Sister," Thor said before him, and the other four leaped into the rainbow light. Jane and I watched as the light disappeared with Thor and the others with it. Coulson and Clint walked up to us.
"Ms. Foster, I will have an Agent bring your stuff back to you." Coulson said, before turning and looking at me.
"Don't say it...." Coulson warned me. I smirked and looked at Clint before turning back to Coulson.
"But I did kind of tell you so." I teased, Clint chuckled at me. Coulson smiled and shook his head.
"Even so, you disobeyed orders. You're still in trouble," Coulson reminded me. I rolled my eyes.
"When aren't I in trouble?" I asked. Clint placed his hand over my mouth, stopping me from saying anything else.
"She'll take the punishment and she promises not to disobey and get caught again," Clint said. I licked his hand. He pulled it away from my mouth and looked at me kind of disgusted. "Did you lick my hand? What are you five?" Clint asked in complete disgust.
"Lucky I didn't bite it." I claim with a laugh. The Agents, Eric, Jane, Darcy and Coulson were all laughing. We all soon left. Clint and I walked through a Portal back to New York. It was late so we just kind of crashed in my apartment. Clint took the floor while I took the bed. He would never allow me to take the loveseat or the floor when it was my apartment.
