I started the online classes the next day. By Monday the 24th, I was up and ready. Clint told me to wear comfy clothes. So I was wearing black leggings with a black sports bra, fingerless gloves, running shoes and, of course, a light jacket. I heard someone knocking on the front door. I closed my laptop and walked to the door to answer it. The man that stood there had short brown hair, impressive muscles. But not too overpowering like Dwayn Jhoanson's was,. He was wearing a black jacket with the SHIELD Logo on it and black cargo pants with combat boots. "So you're the man behind the text?" I asked. Clint just nodded his head while looking me up and down. "Your Jade? You're shorter then I expected." Clint said, I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. "I'm not short, I'm fun size." I retorted back, making him chuckle and shake his head. "Sure you are," Clint said. I noticed he had a bag with him. Sighing knowing the bag had weapons and other things we would need in it. Moving out of the way so he could come in, then shutting the door. I led the way to the kitchen table, taking a seat so we could talk before starting the training. "So what will we be doing today?" I asked, ready to start and get out of this small town. He sat his bag down by the table and sat down on a chair beside mine. "Well, first of all, I need to know if you have any training at all. Anything can count." Clint said. "I was in Gymnastics and Acrobatics till the age of fifteen." I said, not knowing if that could be useful or not. "I did say anything counted," Clint said, more to himself than to me. "So we are going to start off with us sparing. That way I can get an idea of what we need to work on." He said, standing up and grabbing his bag. He went to walk towards the back door before turning and looking at me.. I sighed and got up, following him. Once, in the middle of the back yard, he looked at me. "Take your shoes off. It's always better to practice without shoes," he advised. I sat down on the damp grass and took my shoes and socks off. Clint was doing the same. Standing back up and looking at him waiting for his next orders. He stood up and walked till he was a few feet in front of me. He got in a fighting stance. I followed his lead. He went to throw a punch my way but I dodged his attack, knocking his fist away from me and kicking him in the side. He stumbled to the side a little and looked at me. I knew then that he was trying to catch me by surprise instead of giving me a warning. "That was good," Clint complimented as he got back in a fighting stance. "This time I want you to start," he said, nodding, my understanding I was going to throw a punch, but I figured he would be expecting that, so instead I did a leg sweep. He was quick to jump over my leg, dodging the attack. I was back on my feet, when he went to kick me, I grabbed his ankle and pushed him back with it, knocking him on his butt. He nodded and got up. "I thought you had no fighting skills?" He asked, just as confused as I was. "I don't, it just kind of feels natural." I said, he nodded his head and walked back to his bag, pulling out a few paper targets. He walked over to a tree and pinned one onto it. He then walked back over to me and handed me a knife. "Try and get it as close to the bullseye as possible." He advised, while showing me the proper way to hold a knife and throw it.. I nodded and looked at the target. I held the knife, aiming for the middle. I threw the knife. Like lightning, it went into the target and into the tree. Clint looked at me then back to the target. He walked over to the target and tried to pull the knife out, but it was too deep in the tree. I walked over to him and grabbed the hilt of the knife and pulled it out like it was nothing. I then handed it back to him. He looked at the target, then looked back at me. Clearly shocked that I had made it into the bullseye. "You got it in the middle. It took me years of training to do that," Clint said in disbelief. "I guess I'm just a natural," I said to him. We walked back over to the bag as he placed the knife and target back into the bag. That was how the rest of our day went, him testing me with every weapon he had brought with him and us sparing. He was an impressive archer and was happy that he got to help me improve my archery skills, which even I had no idea I had. We were sparing when Charlie and Bella got home. I had just knocked Clint off his feet once again. I held my hand out for him to take. He did and I helped him up. He grabbed his bag of weapons and paper targets. We were both sweaty and exhausted. He grabbed his socks and shoes as I grabbed my socks and shoes, we walked towards the back door so we could sit on the porch. I noticed Charlie and Bella were standing there watching us. We sat down on the porch and put our socks and shoes back on. "So tomorrow gonna be the same thing?" I asked him, curious if we would keep up with this or if we would do something else. "No, I want to see some acrobats and gymnastics tomorrow. Maybe I can find a way to mix them into your fighting style. Right now you are at a basic boxer level," Clint said. I smiled and nodded my head. Glad I had some type of fighting level. "I guess that's better then nothing." I claimed. Clint was a cool guy. He was older than me but younger than Charlie. He could be my older brother but he acted more like a father. "You got one hell of a throw, by the way. That knife should not have gone that far into the tree," he complimented. "So should I practice by not throwing it too hard?" I asked him. He looked at me, shaking his head. "No, it's effective. Trust me." Clint said. I could tell he was proud. We stood up and walked into the house. Charlie and Bella had moved away from the door. "Tomorrow at Six am." Clint said as I walked him to the door. "I'll be ready." I said back to him. He nods his head and walks out the front door with his bag. I shut the door and turned around. I started to walk back towards the stairs in the kitchen but Charlie stopped me as I passed by the couch. "So how was your first day of training?" He asked me. "It wasn't so much as training today as it was. Let's see what we need to work on. But it was good," I answered him. "And what did you need to work on?" He asked. Trying to sound interested, but I could tell he wasn't. "Just a few things," I said before grabbing my phone off the table and walking up the stairs. I needed a shower. After my shower, I got dried off and dressed in shorts and a tank top. I walked back to my room and sat down on my bed. This was gonna be a fun two months. I got on my laptop and started to do my school work. After I got done, I shut my laptop and went to lay down. ~~~Time Skip~~~ It's March 5th, just five more days until my birthday. It's been none stop training. I will be graduating from school on the 10th. That way, I could focus all my time on training and becoming a full-time agent. Clint thought it would be fun to go to the beach today to do our training. I thought it would be fun too. I knew Jessica and the rest of my friends would be there. I haven't been able to hang out with them in a while, since I've been training none stop and then doing online classes. Clint and I were at First Beach. We were barefoot with our shoes and socks in the sand a ways away from us.. We were on the beach close to the water, everytime the tide came in, our feet would get wet. "This water is freezing." I complained, not liking the cold. "Get used to it, being an Agent of SHIELD, you never know where you'll be sent. Temperatures could be worse than this. You ready?" Clint asked while getting in a fighting stance. I followed his lead. I could hear Jessica, Mike, Eric and Tyler talking, wondering if Clint would actually hit me. "People are watching us." I complained once again, he smirked, knowing I was just trying to get on his nerves. Like I have been doing for the past two months. "Good, being an Agent means you need to get used to people watching. Yes, we do most of our stuff in secret, but sometimes we have no choice but to do it in public." Clint said. He went to punch me but I ducked doing a leg sweep, he jumped over my leg, dodging my attack. I rolled out of his way and jumped up, punching him in the jaw. He recovered quickly and tried to kick me, but I did a back flip, kicking him in the chin as I went. Clint was on his back this time. "Nice, let's try with knives. No stabbing though." Clint said, as he got up. He walked over to his bag of weapons and got two knives out of it. He tossed me one. I caught it and got ready. He came back and stood in front of me, getting ready himself. I could hear my friends whispering with excitement. Clint gave me a nod, telling me to start. I swung my arm that was holding the knife, he blocked it. We fought for a few minutes with the knifes. He had me where I wasn't able to move or disarm him, so I flipped my knife in the air to get a better grip on it, finally disarming him while knocking him to the ground. "Where did the knife flip come from?" Clint exclaimed in question. He got up from the ground and took the knife before picking up his own knife from the ground. He placed them back in the bag and sat down on the sand with our stuff. I walked over and sat next to him. "I don't know, I didn't even know I could do that." I said to him, his phone started to ring. He pulled it out of his pocket and smiled. He told me about his family, how his wife just recently gave birth to his first born son. "Answer it, I'll go talk to my friends." I said, he nodded his head and answered the phone, while I got up and walked over to my friends who were getting ready to get in the water. "Hey guys. Long time no see." I said to them. Mike, Eric and Jessica smiled at me. I noticed Bella was there sitting in Tyler's van with Angela. "That was awesome, your a badass!" Mike said to me. "I thought we already knew that." I joked back, he chuckled and nodded his head. "Right how could I forget, Badass Jade broke into the principles office back in middle school." Mike said with a laugh. Jessica, Eric and Tyler all laughed as well. "If I remember right, you dared me to," I accused him. "Yeah but I wasn't expecting you to do it!" Mike exclaimed. They all stopped talking. I looked behind me to see Clint walking up. Holding my shoes and his bag. "Okay kid, your on your own till the 10th, I'll meet you in New York. Director Fury will either come himself, or he'll send Agent Coulson or Agent Hill to get you." Clint said while handing me my shoes. "Wait, so no training for the rest of today or the other 4 days?" I asked him, getting excited that I was finally going to have a few days off. "I didn't say that," Clint said before he started to walk towards the SUV. "Wait, you drove me here. How am I supposed to get home?" I asked. He turned and looked at me. "Agents are resourceful, you'll find a way." Clint said, before placing his bag in the car and getting in himself. "I feel like he told me to steal a car." I told my friends. They laughed, knowing I was joking. "I don't think that's what he said. He said Agents are resourceful and... yeah you should steal a car." Jessica said with a laugh, deciding it would be better for me to steal a car.. I noticed Jacob and two of his friends walking up to us. "Hey Jakey!" I greeted him. He smiled and looked at me. "Hey Jade." Jake greeted me with a hug. His two friends, Sam and Embry, were watching him. Jacob went to sit next to Bella. "Hey Sam, Hey Embry." I said to the two of them. "Hey Jade," Embry said, while Sam just nodded, staying quiet. Sam had always been a man of few words, but he also didn't particularly like me. "You guys should keep Bella company. Her date bailed." Jessica said, trying to embarrass Bella. Jessica had told me all about Bella and Edward. "What date?" Eric asked. Still thinking he had a chance with my little sister. I rolled my eyes at his desperation. "Bella invited Edward," Jessica told everyone. "To be nice," Bella mumbled, but no one paid her any attention. "I think it's sweet, no one ever invites them." Angela said. Sticking up for Bella. "Yeah cause Cullen's a freak," Mike claimed with a laugh. "You got that right." Sam agreed. "You guys know him?" Bella asked, getting really defensive. "The Cullen's, don't come here!" Sam exclaimed, ending the conversation and any argument Bella would come up with. I was the only outsider to know the truth about the tribe and the Cullen's. Bella shut up after that. I turned towards Sam and Embry. "Hey Sammy, I'm kind of stranded here. Would you be nice enough to give me a ride home?" I asked him while touching his arm, putting my best puppy face on. Embry was trying not to laugh. "Jade, you know he doesn't like you!" Jacob pointed out with a laugh. "Shut up, Jake. I'm working." I said, glaring in his direction, making my friends and Embry laugh. Sam grabbed my hand and looked down at me. "No," Sam said. Before dropping my hand and walking away. My friends and Embry started to laugh. "Damn, that is the quickest response from him you've ever gotten." Embry laughed. I rolled my eyes and looked further down the beach. "Is that Paul and Jared down there?" I asked. Embry turned and looked down the beach, then back to me. "Yeah, I think it is," Embry said. I smirked and went to walk down the beach towards Paul and Jared. Paul and Jared stopped talking and looked at me as I approached them. "Hey Jade." Paul greeted me with a smile. "Hey Paul," I said back. Paul and I were each other first for everything. We are best friends. He pulled me close and kissed me, like always I kissed him back. We pulled away from each other and looked at Jared. "Why aren't I greeted like that?" Jared asked. I smirked and stepped in front of him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and gave him a quick kiss. "Is that better?" I asked him in a baby voice. "Yes, it is. See, I should be greeted like that every time you see me." Jared said. "You wish," Paul said. He pulled me back to him, his arm around my waist. "You two aren't even dating," Jared complained. I rolled my eyes. "Jar Bear. Paul is my best friend and I am his best friend. We are allowed to do things without being a couple." I said back to him. Jared rolled his eyes but smiled. "So what did you need Jade?" Paul asked me. Finally getting back to why I came over. "A ride home?" I asked. He smiled and nodded his head. "Yeah, sure, but you owe me," Paul said to me. "Of course." I said back, agreeing with him. "See you later Jared," Paul said. "Yeah, whatever man." Jared said, dismissing us. Paul and I walked hand in hand to his truck. I got in the passenger's side while he got in the driver's side. He looked at me and smiled. "It's been a while since I've seen you. You look like you got more muscles." Paul complimented me as he drove off towards Forks. I looked at my arms, seeing the difference two months had made. "Well, I've been training," I said. He looked at me then back to the road. Confused, since I hadn't told him what was happening. "What have you been training for?" Paul asked me. "I am joining a secret government agency filled with Spies and Assassins. This will most likely be the last time we see each other." I explained, feeling bad about not telling him sooner. He stopped the truck. We weren't in Forks yet, we were on the road close to the forest. He turned to look at me. "Your leaving?" Paul asked. I could see the pain and confusion in his eyes. "Yeah, I am heading to New York City on my birthday," I said. He frowned and leaned back in his seat. "Man, you always said you would leave this small town. I just didn't think it would be this soon." Paul said. "I know, but hey, we still got today." I said, trying to make him feel better. He smirked at me and started to drive again. Once, we made it to my house and up to my room. I shut and locked the door. Paul had me pinned to the wall with his lips on mine. I jumped up, wrapping my legs around his waist.
