Chapter 1: A girl's World
Anaya Mehta had always lived a life filled with simplicity and laughter. Growing up in the bustling city of New Delhi, her family meant everything to her. Her parents, Raj and Meera Mehta, were the kind of people who balanced each other effortlessly—Raj with his quiet wisdom, and Meera with her boundless energy. Anaya also had a younger sister, Ria, who was as mischievous as she was lovable. They were the perfect, close-knit family that found joy in the little things.
Anaya had always been the introverted type, the kind of girl who preferred losing herself in books and daydreams rather than social gatherings. She excelled in school, particularly in literature, which allowed her to express the creativity she often kept bottled up. Despite her shy demeanor, her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts, fantasies, and stories.
Her life, though calm, had its own rhythm. Most of her days were spent studying for her upcoming exams, hanging out with Ria, or helping her mother cook elaborate meals for family gatherings. Although Anaya wasn’t much of a talker, she had a solid group of cousins and friends with whom she shared deep bonds. Yet, despite this, she often felt a sense of isolation, as though she was waiting for something extraordinary to happen.
But little did she know, her ordinary life was about to take an unexpected turn.
