Prologue Her P.O.V. I’m quietly sitting on the couch waiting for my husband for a whole day to arrive at our house. It’s been two weeks that I am silent and quiet secretly keeping a secret from him, but today I think is the day I am going to tell him that I am pregnant A few minutes later the door creaked wide open. My husband enter with another women, he shut the door close and they kiss each other at the moment I felt invisible my husband didn’t even notice that I can see the both of them kissing right in front of me. My tears almost drops but I need to be strong, I felt sadness, anger, defeat, confusion and much more emotions I cant explain I just want to confront him and know what is going on at the given moment. “Xavier!” I said rather loud, he quickly glanced at me so as the woman. I knew from the start that he never loved me because he was forced to marry me. But it is not the reason for me to cheat on him. Why? Why is he doing this to me? I always cared for him I love him. What did I do wrong? Am I not enough for him? I give everything to him love, money, assets, but today I felt like our love is just an illusion a manipulation of our entire fix union. I swiftly approach them and slapped the girl as hard as I can then I pulled her hair I didn’t stop until I felt myself being pulled away and pushed on the ground Xavier knelt down, he smile briefly and gave me a hard as rock backhand slap and kicked my stomach then pushed me in the corner blood started to come out of my mouth because of his kick. “How dare you hurt my girlfriend inside my f*cking house.” He yelled. “Your girlfriend?” I silently wondering how long he has been cheating on me. How foolish I am for not even noticing about this. “I am your . . .”my words was cut by another slap from Xavier. “Who the h*ck are you to attack me?” the woman said “Stacey baby, don’t waste your time in her she’s just a maid.” Xavier said while kissing her neck I gave them look of disgust. “Your just cheap maid yet you act like you’re a wife.” The woman said I felt broken for what Xavier just did, I am hurt because of his action and the words he said. I want to scream to the woman that I am his wife yet I felt that I just need to accept the fact that Xavier traded me for a much better looking and gorgeous lady. “I’m sorry.” I replied trying my best not to cry but I cant stop m teardrops to fell “Let’s go baby.” Xavier seductively said as they walk towards the stairs and up to the upper floors where the bedroom is located. “Oh okay”The woman Stacey replied giving him a peck on the lips with that they went inside the bedroom that is supposed to be our room. I run to the guest room and let myself cry and when it dried. I packed my belongings and get ready to leave I didn’t even have the chance to say to Xavier that I am pregnant with his child but I guess I wont matter now since it’s all over for us. I promise to myself that even without him I will let my child grow with care and love. I’m off to my freedom with a new start at my life, crying and alone but I need to be strong I’m Ashleigh Samantha Accardi this is my story.
